A barnstar for you!

For getting Dookudu to GA status. Congratulations. — Ssven2 speak 2 me 07:21, 1 January 2015 (UTC)

Advice over picture uploading

I request you not to upload any film's working stills as non-free files from within Wikipedia itself, as repeated copyright violations on almost anything can lead to you being blocked; instead upload such pics through WikiMedia commons, but with written permission from the pic's owner(s). Kailash29792 (talk) 10:45, 2 January 2015 (UTC)

@Kailash29792: Sure. I would follow it from the next time. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 11:35, 2 January 2015 (UTC)

Template:Did you know nominations/Dookudu. Feel free to add more hooks. Vensatry (ping) 09:01, 4 January 2015 (UTC)

This link from Upperstall.com has a review of the film. You can add it if you like. There is also one for Magadheera as well. — Ssven2 speak 2 me 07:51, 9 January 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2:  Done Pavanjandhyala (talk) 09:45, 9 January 2015 (UTC)

Would you be interested in expanding this article to GA status? Personally, I would love to see it as a GA. The "Kevvu Keka" scene always gets me laughing. If interested, the links to the references from The Hindu are here. — Ssven2 speak 2 me 07:50, 7 January 2015 (UTC)

Is Sakshi.com a reliable source? Can you find a better one? Ssven2 speak 2 me 07:42, 18 January 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: It is actually Sakshi newspaper which is a Telugu vernacular daily. It is reliable and also has an article on wiki. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 08:35, 18 January 2015 (UTC)
In that case, you can use it. — Ssven2 speak 2 me 08:38, 18 January 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: I will be using it in the soundtrack article. BTW, all the best for Enthiran. Hope it gets better. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 08:56, 18 January 2015 (UTC)
Thanks. — Ssven2 speak 2 me 09:03, 18 January 2015 (UTC)

This link explains quite a lot about the film. You can create a quote, and a potential "Themes" section as well. — Ssven2 speak 2 me 04:02, 9 January 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: Thanks a lot bro. Today i would work exclusively on this article only and will add info from the one you gave me. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 04:32, 9 January 2015 (UTC)

Good Articles

Hey Pavan! I personally feel that Brindavanam, Rachcha, SVSC need to be nominated for GAN. Thank You. Dineshfernandes89 (talk) 00:22, 10 January 2015 (UTC)Dineshfernandes89Dineshfernandes89 (talk) 00:22, 10 January 2015 (UTC)

@Dineshfernandes89: They can be. But it will take some time for sure. Till then, they should not be disturbed. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 10:03, 10 January 2015 (UTC)

Would you like me to review the film? Ssven2 speak 2 me 05:21, 12 January 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: Sure Pavanjandhyala (talk) 05:24, 12 January 2015 (UTC)
Will start after my lunch by 1pm today. — Ssven2 speak 2 me 05:29, 12 January 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: Sure. I too will start after i come back from 5 PM show of Gopala Gopala today. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 05:36, 12 January 2015 (UTC)

Pavan, I went through the article, and I find that it would be best for someone to copyedit it before I take up the review. You can ask Onel5969 or Lstanley1979 to do a thorough copyedit. Ssven2 speak 2 me 10:08, 12 January 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: I've asked Onel5969 to conduct a copyedit. And if he denies, then i would approach Lstanley1979. BTW, i am just back from Gopala Gopala and it is worth mentioning that an epic scene from Mayabazar has been spoofed in this film. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:27, 12 January 2015 (UTC)

Any source that mentions about the spoof? — Ssven2 speak 2 me 16:45, 12 January 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: Sadly, nothing except the film itself. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 17:26, 12 January 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: Onel5969 completed the c/e just now and i addressed few concerns raised by him. Would you like to conduct the review now? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 16:18, 19 January 2015 (UTC)

Will start tmrw. — Ssven2 speak 2 me 17:08, 19 January 2015 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Yevadu

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Yevadu you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Ssven2 -- Ssven2 (talk) 04:21, 20 January 2015 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

The Tireless Contributor Barnstar
For your tireless efforts to make Yevadu a GA, which paid off! And I think that's your third consecutive GA, so congrats on the hat trick! Kailash29792 (talk) 14:46, 20 January 2015 (UTC)

Mayabazar

Well, then congrats for two GA's in a month! And these are what you asked for to develop Mayabazar. Kailash29792 (talk) 14:53, 20 January 2015 (UTC)

I can see that there are hardly any sources for the film's box office collection. But, it is quite common in old articles. Just expand on other aspects like "Critical Reception" and "Legacy". There are a lot of sources which have those information. You can follow Parasakthi's style of writing. — Ssven2 speak 2 me 08:47, 4 February 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: Sure. But Mayabazar has another small speciality. That is its digital remastering in 2010. Once i get free today, i will continue my work on it. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 08:52, 4 February 2015 (UTC)
I was talking about the aspects other than the digital remastering . — Ssven2 speak 2 me 08:54, 4 February 2015 (UTC)
After seeing articles like Aval Appadithan, Karnan (film) and Kalidas (film), I realised that Mayabazar is GA-worthy, even if the number of sources used are less than 40. As for this, I think you can add content about NTR playing Krishna in several other unrelated films that released later. Kailash29792 (talk) 10:24, 7 February 2015 (UTC)
@Kailash29792: I can do that. Many newspapers often discuss his portrayals of Krishna in various Telugu films. Though a bit unrelated, read this once. It is the heights of madness Pavanjandhyala (talk) 10:30, 7 February 2015 (UTC)
This can be put to good use. Kailash29792 (talk) 09:38, 15 February 2015 (UTC)
Used it. Thanks Pavanjandhyala (talk) 09:59, 15 February 2015 (UTC)
Dhananjayan's book contains an error, by stating that there was a 1935 film named Mayabazar. That film actually came in 1936, as per the Hindu source here, and Google search. Kailash29792 (talk) 10:02, 15 February 2015 (UTC)
@Kailash29792: Yes. Results show that the film's title is Sasirekha Parinayam and the year of release being 1936. I shall add a note about the same if required any. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 10:04, 15 February 2015 (UTC)

Add a bit more regarding the critical response of the film's soundtrack. Also add a few more reviews in the "Critical reception" section. For the cast section, use the film's DVD as a source to describe who were part of the film. For the Telugu references, add a translation of the heading of the article. Example from Kadhalikka Neramillai — ஐம்பதாம் ஆண்டில் ‘காதலிக்க நேரமில்லை’ (50th year of 'Kadhalikka Neramillai') — Ssven2 speak 2 me 10:07, 15 February 2015 (UTC)

I and Kailash could not find any reviews till now and are searching. I shall begin search for the required refs today. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 10:21, 15 February 2015 (UTC)
Guess what? Sasirekha Parinayam was the alternate title/suffix for the 1936 Mayabazar, while there was no film named Mayabazar in 1935. You could also add info from this to "Legacy". And because I can't read Telugu, I think you can decipher what is here. Kailash29792 (talk) 13:53, 15 February 2015 (UTC)
@Kailash29792: The latter is a booklet of the film's lyrics. But it is useful as the film's cast, technicians and the story are present in it. The former is a link stating that the film's "Production" and "Legacy" section are used as a syllabus for CBSE 10th class syllabus. I shall add it soon. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 14:21, 15 February 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: Translated all the Telugu refs. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 08:31, 26 February 2015 (UTC)

May I submit it to the GOCE? It will take at least a month for someone to get to it. Kailash29792 (talk) 09:52, 5 March 2015 (UTC)
@Kailash29792: I've asked Onel5969 to conduct a c/e on it. If he does not respond, i shall meet Lstanley1979 for the same, who currently is working on GAV. Let us wait till those two respond. GOCE should be the last option. Also i should add a new section which i currently am unable to do due to high fever. Once i recuperate, i shall add that one too and then meet those two again. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 10:18, 5 March 2015 (UTC)
@Kailash29792: I came to know that there is a song named Mayabazar in Yennai Arindhaal. Is its video is related to the film by anyway? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 10:53, 5 March 2015 (UTC)
Actually no. Neither the video, nor the song are related to the Telugu film. Kailash29792 (talk) 10:54, 5 March 2015 (UTC)

@Kailash29792: I've asked Jaguar to conduct a c/e on the article as both Onel5969 and Lstanley1979 are preoccupied with various commitments. Jaguar would begin the process today. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 05:32, 9 March 2015 (UTC)

Good luck with the article's GA. IMO, you can request Doc to review it. Ssven2 Speak 2 me 08:54, 13 March 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: Left a message to Dr. Blofeld for the same. He began the process a while ago. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 09:02, 13 March 2015 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Yevadu

The article Yevadu you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Yevadu for comments about the article. Well done! If the article has not already been on the main page as an "In the news" or "Did you know" item, you can nominate it to appear in Did you know. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Ssven2 -- Ssven2 (talk) 15:01, 20 January 2015 (UTC)

Can you find sources for the film's awards section? and also can you find an English title poster for the film? Thanks. Ssven2 speak 2 me 05:22, 22 January 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: I will add the sources for awards today. But an English poster is not entirely possible. We have it like this one. But i felt that rather using it, a Telugu poster shall suffice. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 06:26, 22 January 2015 (UTC)
It is not compulsory. I just asked if there was any poster available. I also need you re-write both the critical reception and box office sections, and replace the current box office sources with better sources (IBTimes, Sify and TOI, if possible). Ssven2 speak 2 me 06:28, 22 January 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: Sure. Once i am done with awards, i shall rewrite the critical reception. Box office is a lengthy one considering its run. I shall do it in the last. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 06:37, 22 January 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: I rewrote the critical reception and the Awards section. BO section needs to be rewritten and Legacy section is to be written. Go through the rewritten sections once and suggest changes if any. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 09:44, 22 January 2015 (UTC)

A tip : Don't use the INRConvert one. Just INR as money value changes. Ssven2 speak 2 me 10:45, 22 January 2015 (UTC)
Regarding the changes to reception, once you have finished expanding the article, get it copyedited. Changes will be automatically made . Trim the quotes as well. No need to make them so large. — Ssven2 speak 2 me 11:00, 22 January 2015 (UTC)

The "Piracy" section needs copyediting. Can you ask someone to do it for you? Ssven2 speak 2 me 09:05, 13 February 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: I've asked Onel5969 to do it, but he has been offline since six hours. Meanwhile i've made the remaining adjustments mentioned in the GAR by you. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 09:51, 13 February 2015 (UTC)

For the BO section, some of the grammar is improper. That's why a c/e needs to be done. Ssven2 speak 2 me 07:08, 14 February 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: Yep. Onel5969 may do a c/e. You did ask him yesterday right. Hope the GAR ends today. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 07:21, 14 February 2015 (UTC)
Ask Kailash if Onel is not responding. Ssven2 speak 2 me 09:59, 14 February 2015 (UTC)
I've asked him and he began the process just now. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 11:38, 14 February 2015 (UTC)

Govindudu Andarivadele

I am sorry I have been totally happily occupied with field work in tribal area and my studies and work in between. I am afraid I am not able to give your article due time. I have it in my mind... I will pick up if no one comes around, but no promises as of now and I am taking a step back from offering to complete it in three weeks. I hope you will understand, thank you. --AmritasyaPutraT 09:52, 28 January 2015 (UTC)

@AmritasyaPutra: I can understand and take your time of course. Meanwhile if some one agrees to review it, help me in the GAR. As of now, i shall expand the article further and would go for a copyedit so that last minute issues can be avoided. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 10:30, 28 January 2015 (UTC)

Newspaper search

Felicitations to User:Titodutta for creating this piece of gem, that could help improve search results for Indian news. There also exists this which could also be of help. Kailash29792 (talk) 17:44, 30 January 2015 (UTC)

Telugu cinema

Your work about Telugu cinema in English Wikipedia is remarkable. I have done work here regarding some old Telugu movies. I need your help to improve them and to start some more good articles. I would like to talk to you sometime when you are free. My mobile **********. I would call you at your leisure, if you can spare your mobile number. Thanking you.--Dr. Rajasekhar A. 08:40, 1 February 2015 (UTC)

Do you have sometime to participate in the Telugu wikipedia's 11th anniversary celebrations at Tirupati on 14 and 15th of February 2015. We wellcome you for the meeting; as is an exclusive Telugu wikipedians meetup to discuss some progressive actions and collective work. Thanking you for some good suggestions.Dr. Rajasekhar A. 10:38, 1 February 2015 (UTC)

Give the article a copyedit before the review. I am currently busy with Enthiran and I am also reviewing Guardians of the Galaxy. So, I am going to have to pass the review (meaning I am not going to review the article). — Ssven2 speak 2 me 15:42, 3 February 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: Sure. I will approach Onel5969 for the same now and will let you know once the process is done. Then you may express your concerns if any. I hope that Enthiran will not leave you free in the near future and Dr. Blofeld wants to review it and that is much better. So, i did not approach you for this GAR as i felt it would become a burden for you. All the best with Enthiran. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 16:24, 3 February 2015 (UTC)
Well, it is not a burden so as to speak. Attarintiki Daredi is quite a significant article. So. I will be reviewing that once you have asked Onel5969 to give a c/e to AD as well. All the best for Naayak. — Ssven2 speak 2 me 16:29, 3 February 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: Alright then. If Onel5969 or other significant c/e editors life Baffle gab1978 (he's on an indefinite wikibreak possibly upto April 2015) is willing to give AD a c/e, i will let you know about that very soon and you may review that. And if possible, i would approach either you or Dr. Blofeld for Mayabazar after completing the remaining work on it, depending on the situation and interests of you both at that point of time subject to my/your availability. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 16:33, 3 February 2015 (UTC)
It is best if you consult Dr. Blofeld on Mayabazar. He is more experienced in handling old articles. He has reviewed articles like Parasakthi, Andha Naal, Anbe Vaa, Thillana Mohanambal, Aval Appadithan, Moondram Pirai, Mouna Ragam to name a few. — Ssven2 speak 2 me 16:37, 3 February 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: You did this much on your user page but when you sorted your GAs based on their date of promotion, please do write those dates and reviewers too. It is important. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 04:11, 4 February 2015 (UTC)

Oh yeah, and another thing. Musicperk.com, Milliblog and way2movies.com are not that reliable. It is ok if you don't get much reliable sources for this section. You can use a few of the film reviews as they explain about the music as well. Ssven2 speak 2 me 04:44, 4 February 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: Removed all of them. Also removed 123telugu review as TRPoD will surely remove it later though it is a better RS. Sadly, most of the reviewers wrote only about the picturisation of the songs as most of Telugu people find hardly any difference in his works from film to film. I don't know how his works in Tamil differ from each other. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 08:31, 4 February 2015 (UTC)

You can ask User:Jaguar to conduct a review on Naayak. BTW, are u ready with AD? — Ssven2 speak 2 me 09:24, 7 February 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: AD is almost done and i will use the remaining refs tomorrow. After a brief legacy section, i believe the article shall be ready for a c/e and i shall intimate the same to you when the time comes. As of now, Naayak shall take some time as Onel5969 began c/e just yesterday. Once it is done, i will approach Jaguar for sure as you suggested. Meanwhile i am also busy rewriting Manam just like you doing for Enthiran as i felt it would be a tribute to ANR (and was promoted as the same during its release) when you said that you want to make Sri Rama Rajyam a GA as a tribute to Bapu. BTW when are you going to start work on it? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 09:35, 7 February 2015 (UTC)
Still finding references. You said you would help me find it as well. Ssven2 speak 2 me 09:37, 7 February 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: I shall help you for sure. Give me some time. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 09:39, 7 February 2015 (UTC)
Don't worry, take as much time as you need. I will start it only after my other current commitments are done (Enthiran and Sivaji). — Ssven2 speak 2 me 09:45, 7 February 2015 (UTC)

Hello Pavan. I have seen your contributions to Telugu movies, and they are impressive. I am a new user, but I need a bit of help on making Jr. NTR's page a good article, by adding images and fixing the grammar. So, please contribute (I will also help too).

Thank you, Mohanlalkafan (talk) 20:27, 4 February 2015 (UTC)

@Mohanlalkafan: For all the fan point of view statements it has and also a dedicated group of IPs doing any nonsense to hype the actor's image, that article cannot be made a GA easily. But first try to make all the statements clear, neutral and straight to the point as much as possible. I will try to help but am un sure whether my existing commitments will let me do so actively. Thank you. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 03:31, 5 February 2015 (UTC)

rewriting the lead

while u re write the lead, kindly dont remove essential info and references, especially information like 45th IFFI. Also kindly read about Directorate of film festivals, IFFI and Indian panorama, instead of manam a period film or romantic masal film Anthimpag (talk) 14:42, 10 February 2015 (UTC)

Pavan, I strongly believe this is Padmalakshmisx's latest sock. Can you please do the honours of filing the SPI? I think you know him better than me. Kailash29792 (talk) 15:13, 10 February 2015 (UTC)

Pavan, please do the honors. Kailash you please go on file SPI's daily on other users and dont contribute to wikipedia, but please waste your time on filing SPI's. I think you are obsessed with padmalakshmisx and soon need a psychiatrist. Anthimpag (talk) 15:50, 10 February 2015 (UTC)

references

u can remove references to make it a Good article, but kindly do not remove (but include) the information on 45th IFFI in the lead section of the article. Anthimpag (talk) 15:45, 10 February 2015 (UTC)

Sure

Yes I understand what you are saying, but I have included the 45th IFFI without reference in the lead. You please work on making it a good article. But user Kailash will not allow you to do it Anthimpag (talk) 15:56, 10 February 2015 (UTC)

N. T. Rama Rao Jr. Filmography

Hello, Pavan. Some IPS helped add up some info. into NTR's filmography. I just wanted to ask you, if his filmography can be nominated for a featured article. If it doesn't, then can you mention some of the areas where it needs cleanup, or reworking. Don't misunderstand me, as his fan. Thank you, Mohanlalkafan (talk) 03:41, 11 February 2015 (UTC)MohanlalkafanMohanlalkafan (talk) 03:41, 11 February 2015 (UTC)

@Mohanlalkafan: The lead needs to be rewritten completely in an encyclopedic tone. More references are required. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 03:47, 11 February 2015 (UTC)

Thanks

Thank you for the barnstar and for being very supportive to my endeavours. AD should be ready by now. You nominated it yet? Ssven2 speak 2 me 09:31, 11 February 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: I've just completed work on Manam today morning. It indeed was a very tiring project isn't it. So, i will give finishing touches to AD today and once done, i will nominate it and will inform the same to you. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 09:41, 11 February 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: Nominated AD just now. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 10:27, 11 February 2015 (UTC)

I will start on AD tomorrow. — Ssven2 speak 2 me 13:53, 11 February 2015 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Attarintiki Daredi

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Attarintiki Daredi you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Your GA nomination of Naayak

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Naayak you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Jaguar -- Jaguar (talk) 17:40, 12 February 2015 (UTC)

After seeing your work in Attarintiki Daredi, I wanted to tell you these things:

  • Do not add information on rumoured content; this policy says, "Speculation and rumor, even from reliable sources, are not appropriate encyclopedic content."
  • Add information on a film's CBFC certificate only if there is some depth in it per WP:FILMRATINGS; here it did not have, so I removed it.

Kailash29792 (talk) 13:19, 13 February 2015 (UTC)

@Kailash29792: What do you mean by "depth"? Can you please explain the same in brief in your words Pavanjandhyala (talk) 13:21, 13 February 2015 (UTC)

By that I mean "comprehensive and detailed information". Eg: Billa II got an A-certificate because of its violence and gore; this led to it being banned from airing on Indian television. Kailash29792 (talk) 13:24, 13 February 2015 (UTC)
@Kailash29792: Alright. I shall keep that in mind from the next time. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 13:27, 13 February 2015 (UTC)

Gabbar Singh

Hi bro, do you feel Gabbar Singh film can be a GA considering that this film was also a blockbuster. I have been editing this article for past 2-3 days. Srivin (talk) 09:16, 14 February 2015 (UTC)

@Srivin: Yes it can be, if expanded much. You are doing a good job but take care of sources you are choosing as few are non reliable. For Ex: gulte, greatandhra etc. Also the images should have been placed in the casting section. And fill the refs completely. Don't leave bare URLs. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Jaguar -- Jaguar (talk) 22:00, 14 February 2015 (UTC)

Pavan, regrading the comment Jaguar has suggested for the cast section, use the film's DVD as reference. For example, just the name of the characters would suffice, and cite the reference like this — "Enthiran (DVD). Title credits from 01:45 to 01:55." As for CgTrix, just use the same citation, but state the time which the company appears in the film. Do the same for the MMS as well. Ssven2 speak 2 me 08:25, 15 February 2015 (UTC)

I have got up to the Reception section, but I will be away over the next few days. If you don't mind hanging on until the middle of next week, I can finish it off, or I don't mind if you ask someone else to finish it if it's urgent. I do apologise for the delay, but things are a little eventful IRL and I don't have much time to be active on Wikipedia. I'm happy to be considered for more copy-editing in the future, however. I will always say yes unless there is absolutely no way I could do it. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 23:10, 19 February 2015 (UTC)
@Lstanley1979: No problem. Take your time. I want a good and thorough c/e for the article. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 02:11, 20 February 2015 (UTC)

Hi. I'm Political Cricketer. I noticed that you reverted one of my recent edits of Gopala Gopala. Once watch the template of film infobox which includes box-office as gross but not as share. If gross figures are available, its better to mention. All Hollywood and Bollywood film article editors keep gross figures in that place. I hope you understand. Thank you. PK talk 15:44, 19 February 2015 (UTC)

@Political Cricketer: I know that but FYI share is the Return on Investment with which the makers recover the film's budget if they release it on their own or the amount recovered by Distributors who recover the money they spent on the rights. Gross figure nevertheless is the direct amount paid by the audience (No of tickets sold * Ticket price). During the GA Reviews, generally share amount is preferred. But i shall not oppose you if you would add back the gross too. Hope the matter ends here. Thank you. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 16:13, 19 February 2015 (UTC)
@Pavanjandhyala: It'll be like edit war if I revert your edit. I know about gross, nett and share. The article is about the film but not regarding its producers or distributors. I thought it would be better if we mention gross figures which shows film's total collections. Now it is upto you. Thank you. PK talk 16:19, 19 February 2015 (UTC)
@Political Cricketer: It will be an edit war if i do not support that. But i expressed nothing much. Lets do a thing. I am planning to take the article to GA status and during the GAR, i shall ask the reviewer about including gross in the infobox. Lets follow what he/she suggests. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 16:25, 19 February 2015 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

The Tireless Contributor Barnstar
For your tireless efforts to make Manam a GA. And with that you have achieved a double hattrick of GA's! Now aim for a third hattrick! Kailash29792 (talk) 16:48, 24 February 2015 (UTC)
@Kailash29792: Already on the way, with Mayabazar and Gopala Gopala in hands. Businessman should be the third in all possible probabilities. Let GAV's home media release happen by then. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 16:52, 24 February 2015 (UTC)

Pavan, I have been thinking. Since Maghadheera is a GA, why not also take Eega to GA status? As I already mentioned, for Mayabazar's Telugu references, add a translation of the heading of the article. Example from Kadhalikka Neramillai — ஐம்பதாம் ஆண்டில் ‘காதலிக்க நேரமில்லை’ (50th year of 'Kadhalikka Neramillai') — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 07:00, 25 February 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: I shall translate them today. And, Eega is a very complicated one with lots of detailing and innumerable issues. Everyone associated with it have a different take about the film's making. So, after completing work on my four pending assignments (all of them are in their last stages), i shall start Eega. I still remember how desperate Kailash29792 was to save Naan Ee from being merged into Eega as it was a bilingual shot in two languages. That would add salt to the wounds now if reminded. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 07:09, 25 February 2015 (UTC)
It's been 2.5 years since the film has released. It was a relatively new article back then. If that was the case then films like Chandralekha would have faced a similar problem (It did but Kailash had written a section titled Hindi version). For Mayabazar you have explained it with the different cast members for the two versions. So, the best thing would be to write a section for Eega titled Tamil version. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 07:14, 25 February 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: Of course yes. But as i said before, i shall begin working on it after completing my pending assignments. You both are also busy with Enthiran, Apoorva Sagodharagal, Sri Rama Rajyam and Sivaji right. By the time i begin Eega, i hope you would complete any two of them. BTW, what is the status of Enthiran? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 07:43, 25 February 2015 (UTC)
Once its c/e is complete, it will be nominated for FAC. But we can't close the PR manually. Kailash29792 (talk) 07:49, 25 February 2015 (UTC)

Businessman (film)

Hiya. Am in the process of copy-editing the page right now.

Got a bit stuck on this sentence - I'm having trouble parsing it. I've taken it out for now but if you could perhaps explain what's going on I can rewrite it.

He then challenges Bhardwaj that he would grow as a system which the police can never touch after which he would marry Chitra who is rejecting him now.

I'm assuming it means that Surya is going into some sort of racket where he'll be collaborating (?) with Bhardwaj, which will in turn impress Chitra, but I've never seen the film, so not sure of the exact context.

Thanks for your help. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 15:25, 26 February 2015 (UTC)

Another question: again, a confusing sentence about the lead actor -

and because of the same, he could read the complete script only after 10 days from accepting to play the lead role

I'm reading it as 'because [the actor] was dubbing for Dookudu, he could only finish reading the script ten days after being asked', but again, it's not clear. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 15:39, 26 February 2015 (UTC)

@Lstanley1979: Yes you are right. Because Mahesh was busy dubbing for Dookudu, he could finish reading the script only ten days after being approached. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:42, 26 February 2015 (UTC)
Great stuff. Another missing item here: 'Na. Muthukumar and [missing name] wrote the lyrics for the dubbed Tamil and Malayalam versions of the songs respectively.' Do you know whether there was someone else involved (it looks that way because the writer talks about both the Tamil and Malayalam versions)? LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 16:00, 26 February 2015 (UTC)
@Lstanley1979: The lyricist for Malayalam duubbed version was Kailas Rishi. I forgot to add his name as i was in a hurry at that particular moment. However the source is already cited in the article. Check citation no. 43. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 16:04, 26 February 2015 (UTC)

Tip for "Cast" section

For Businessman's cat section, why don't you use the film's DVD as reference? It would satisfy Caponer's GAR comments about the section. Ssven2 Speak 2 me 06:05, 27 February 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: But in the closing credits only the actors' names are mentioned. We don't have the characters' names. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 06:11, 27 February 2015 (UTC)
I have an idea. Why don't you watch the film? Whenever the characters' names is said, you can use the time limit there for the DVD reference. For example, Kajal's character name, Chitra, is mentioned at 11:04 of the film's DVD. You can write it as "Businessman. (DVD). Character name mentioned at 11:04." — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 06:29, 27 February 2015 (UTC)

@Kailash29792: I had that in mind, but only the lead actors' (Mahesh, Kajal, Nasser) characters' names would most often be mentioned in the reviews. That's why I had opted for this idea. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 08:00, 27 February 2015 (UTC)

@Imewhy26: Most of those sources are terming it as a tentative title. Let the first look release happen or a press note confirming the title be given. Or, let the actors/makers confirm it. Samantha had a reputation of confirming the titles in twitter since long back. Apart from them, nothing else can be counted. Thus, wait till then. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 11:31, 3 March 2015 (UTC)

Hi! I'm well on the way to completing the c/e but one question. This source here is unclear. I'm assuming it means that Ram Charan attended the film's premiere in the USA - but the source is very short and doesn't cover it in enough detail to make it unambiguous. It's on the verge of not being promoted and rightfully so as SandyGeorgia, one of the reviewers spotted several MoS issues with the article. Doc and RHM22 have been a great help in giving separate copyedits and the article has improved but not enough to get it promoted. Both of their suggestions were to withdraw the FAC nomination and open up another peer review for addressing the remaining issues before nominating it again. Don't worry about it. It has happened to Bollyjeff with SRK and Sriram Vikram with Gemini. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 06:19, 16 March 2015 (UTC)

@Maheshreddy2: Anyone can upload it with a proper license. I suggest you to find a free image from Flickr. What say Kailash? Any suggestions? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 13:03, 19 March 2015 (UTC)

The problem is, I can't <censored> differentiate between a free image and a copyrighted image on the net. At first I thought that if a picture appears on a person's FB page without any copyright tag, then its free. But even without a copyright tag, it will still be tagged for deletion if, as the admins say, there is no indication that he released it under a free licence. So best to do is, if the author of an image is contactable, he may be asked to mail permission to OTRS. Or if an image on Flickr is absolutely free, with no copyright tag or any sort of legal <censored>, just upload that. Kailash29792 (talk) 13:13, 19 March 2015 (UTC)
@Kailash29792: Now that's a BEEP difficult task. I initially decided not to upload any free file except from BH. I shall try to find one, but if not available, then perhaps, its just BEEP. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 14:01, 19 March 2015 (UTC)
Hey, I just came across this. Hope it is of help. Kailash29792 (talk) 14:11, 19 March 2015 (UTC)
@Kailash29792: It is indeed useful. But i can't believe that any Flickr user will accept to change their license for non profit organisations? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 14:21, 19 March 2015 (UTC)
Pavanjandhyala, be careful while uploading images from Flickr. Don't upload any image that you come across on Flickr which doesn't have a proper copyright tag. Also beware of Flickr washing. Vensatry (ping) 19:55, 19 March 2015 (UTC)
@Vensatry: Sure. Till now i could not find one, but if available, i will meet you to find out whether it is a legitimate one or not. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 01:05, 20 March 2015 (UTC)

Allu Arjun

Hey Pavan. Remember the picture of NTR which was deleted. The same image bot deleted Allu Arjun's image as well. Now, what action will you take to retrieve these photos.

Maheshreddy2 (talk) 22:00, 21 March 2015 (UTC)

@Maheshreddy2: There are only two ways. One, find an absolutely free image and upload. Second, request the owner of a copyrighted image to send declaration of consent to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org and upload the file after OTRS ticket is generated. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 02:37, 22 March 2015 (UTC)

1: Nenokkadine

Hey Pavan. After Missamma, will you mind helping me on 1: Nenokkadine. I have started editing it on my sandbox.

Thank you, Maheshreddy2 (talk) 11:10, 24 March 2015 (UTC)

@Maheshreddy2: Missamma itself is a delayed one. I have to finish my exams. I will complete it and will continue others. However i will surely help you on that article soon. Also, as an advice, please hold your plans of uploading NTR Jr's files for now. You may be blocked. We can get it at a later point of time. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:32, 24 March 2015 (UTC)

Mayabazar has been nominated for Did You Know

perceptions

it is the opposite of promotional - it is attributing an opinion to the people who have presented the opinion. Given that we only have one source that has done a "meta" analysis of the overall reception, to place IB Times singular analysis in Wikipedia's voice without attribution is inappropriate. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 12:17, 25 March 2015 (UTC)

Classics

Hi Pavan. This is just a friendly question. Why are most of the old classics more than 3 hours; examples are Mughal-E-Azam, Sholay, Mayabazaar, DDlJ, HAHK and many more. Maheshreddy2 (talk) 22:54, 25 March 2015 (UTC)Maheshreddy2Maheshreddy2 (talk) 22:54, 25 March 2015 (UTC)

@Maheshreddy2: Because the sensibilities of the audience was like that. They wanted to sit at least for three hours for the ticket they paid. As time passed on, the audience became less patient and the content too began decreasing. Today we cannot bear a film of less run time with slow narration or a film with long run time. Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu and Kadali are examples for these situations. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 01:07, 26 March 2015 (UTC)

GA

I dropped the plan of 1: Nenokkadine. I am looking forward to making Magadheera a FLC with your help, later, as I have my exams. I am going to come back in mid June. Thank you, Maheshreddy2 (talk) 22:54, 25 March 2015 (UTC)

@Maheshreddy2: All the best. However making Magadheera a FA is a very very herculean task. Dont do that by dropping 1, which is relatively easy. Magadheera requires huge time and better drop those plans for now. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 16:41, 26 March 2015 (UTC)

Apology

Sorry for the inconvenience. Whoever that 98.2 whatsoever was, should be blocked. I do not know how he got into my account.

Hey Pavan. Remember the talk about coming back to Wikipedia. There may be a delay, due to my European tour, and I will come back on mid or late August. Thank you, Maheshreddy2 (talk) 22:54, 25 March 2015 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.26.25.64 (talk)

A badge for you!

As a token of your efforts to take nine Telugu films to GA status and for your 2 and half years of service on Wikipedia, I hereby present you with this badge to display on your user page. (I have posted it on your user page.) Ssven2 Speak 2 me 08:26, 30 March 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: Thanks a lot bro! The word Veteran however makes me feel a bit older though, Pavanjandhyala (talk) 09:31, 30 March 2015 (UTC)
The badge is awarded to those who have 2 years of service and have done more than 8,000 edits. I checked your edit count through your contributions page and you happened to have 8,859 edits and counting. Your first edit was in June 2012, making it almost 3 years of service. But, you need a total of 16,000 edits to become a Veteran editor III. Ssven2 Speak 2 me 09:41, 30 March 2015 (UTC)

I happened to stumble upon this recent article by M. L. Narasimhan. Use all you can to expand the wikipedia article. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 02:43, 3 May 2015 (UTC)

Happened to notice that Srivin has used the same article yesterday! Really good piece of information. BTW, did you happen to notice that the material you used for reference number 9 (The Andhra Prabha info) was used by Narasimham in his article? — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 04:41, 3 May 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: Yes. I thanked Srivin for the same and gifted him a kitten too. Regarding the articles, yes i did observe that. You did the job, most of it. Thanks for that. But, on the Music section you wrote Rajendra Rao instead of Rajeswara Rao which i rectified. Let me see whether i can expand it further! Pavanjandhyala (talk) 05:31, 3 May 2015 (UTC)
Thanks for noticing the typo. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 05:32, 3 May 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: Now that the info in Production section is huge, i have split it into Development, Casting and Filming respectively. Hope it looks better now. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 05:42, 3 May 2015 (UTC)
Yes, it does look good. Gotta go, c u! — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 05:59, 3 May 2015 (UTC)

Hi Pavan. I am the same user 98.29 ..., but changed houses. I know that we haven't had a cordial relationship during the Temper stages. But, I want to congratulate you on your GA success. Also, have you seen SOS? I saw it on Friday (DVD), and the 2nd half was pretty funny.

Ramya Krishnan

Didn't know that she was a part of the film until I came across this one yesterday. She looks stunning and hot even at this age, no? :) Vensatry (ping) 19:31, 8 May 2015 (UTC)

@Vensatry: Yes she does :) Watching the poster, i felt she was too modern for that film's backdrop and was looking like Neelambari 2.0! Pavanjandhyala (talk) 01:30, 9 May 2015 (UTC)
Ha, indeed she looks modern. A period film, isn't it? Vensatry (ping) 17:45, 9 May 2015 (UTC)
@Vensatry: Yes. It is a fictional period film set in an unspecified era. Well, next is Kalakeya. Hope it is Sathyaraj. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 02:32, 10 May 2015 (UTC)
May be the screenplay is on the lines of Maghadheera. The reason why I brought Ramya here is that she still looks the same even after so many years. Seems like age has only made her more beautiful. Take this song for instance. :) Vensatry (ping) 08:27, 11 May 2015 (UTC)
@Vensatry: Yes. She is always gorgeous. Even her co-star Akkineni Nagarjuna feels the same. Well, Baahubali is a complete period film and since it is a Rajamouli film, defenitely that modern look should have some inner meaning for sure. I saw Meena and Upendra making their true comeback to Telugu cinema recently. And, i am sure, Ramya Kreishna shall make a true comeback with Baahubali. Lets hope the best. Also, the new entrant Kalakeya the war lord (played by Prabhakar of Maryada Ramanna fame) looks terrifying. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 10:58, 11 May 2015 (UTC)
Comeback film, really? I thought she was always active in Telugu films. Vensatry (ping) 16:03, 11 May 2015 (UTC)
@Vensatry: Answer this in order to understand my intention. What was the last "proper" commercial film Rajinikanth acted in? If you get its answer, you shall understand. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 16:09, 11 May 2015 (UTC)

I'd say Enthiran. As for Ramya, despite being a Tamil herself, her repute as a star grew in Telugu films. The last full-length role that she did in Tamil was Julie Ganapathi, way back in 2003. Considering this, I can very well say that she used to be very active in Telugu, at least till 2009-10. :) Vensatry (ping) 17:07, 11 May 2015 (UTC)

@Vensatry: Yes, for you it was Enthiran, for me it was ironically Chandramukhi (consider the fact that i am a Telugu person who felt that only Rajinikanth's screen presence salvaged Sivaji and he was not the quessential Rajinikanth in Enthiran). Forget mine, according to you, Rajinikanth's "proper" comeback for now is due since 2010 though he starred in Kochadaiyaan and Lingaa. Similarly, the last "proper" film of Ramya Krishnan in Telugu was Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam. After that, we never saw her in a role that is worth of remembering. That is why i wait for a comeback. Simple. Why on earth would i consider Upendra making a comeback really? Because Telugu audience remember him exactly opposite of his regular breathless dialogue delivery and whacky costumes (though his dubbed films featuring him like that were super hits here). I wanted to see him powerful yet controlled, and my wish was fulfilled last month. Same in the case of Meena with 2014. That's all, a wish of a "proper" comeback. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 02:23, 12 May 2015 (UTC)
How on the earth can you compare Rajini or Upendra with Ramya Krishnan? Perhaps, any "ex-heroine" for that matter. She must be very lucky for having starred in quite a number of films even after crossing 30. Even if she makes a comeback, it may not necessarily be the one. Vensatry (ping) 17:09, 12 May 2015 (UTC)
@Vensatry: Why can't i compare them with her bro? Both of them were her co-stars once, and it is a general truth that Neelambari's character was the sole reason Padayappa's character was elevated well. Be frank, were Rajini and Upendra such a great actors when compared to her? It was their style and selection of scripts in their prime time that made them superstars. She is always a superstar for that matter then. Thus, this excitement. Anyways, thanks for initiating and participating in this discussion with me. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 01:54, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
I can understand your love for Neelambari, but am not sure if that can be considered a natural performance. :) It was stylized acting. I don't know about Upendra being a great actor, but Rajini used to score well as far as restrained & stylized acting is concerned. Watch Mullum Malarum, Johnny and Netrikkann to get my point. For stylized acting, see this scene (from Netrikkann), and another one (from 1:00) (from Aval Appadithan) where he totally outshines the "great" Kamal Haasan. For rage, see this one (at 2:42 and 2:57) from Murattu Kaalai. Do you think Neelambari was more ferocious than Kaalaiyan in this sequence? That said, I like Ramya Krishnan very much, but sadly she was under-utilized in Tamil before Padayappa. In Telugu, a majority of the films portrayed her as a glam doll; there were a few good roles though. As an actress, do you think she ranks in the same league as the legendary Savitri? Also, Neelambari wasn't the first female character that dominated/threatened Rajini on screen. There was Vijayashanti, who did an amazing job in Mannan. Vensatry (ping) 18:52, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
@Vensatry: Mullum Malarum, Johnny, Netrikkann and Aval Appadithan — All the four show Rajini's character having either shades of grey or villainy in which he always excelled. And Murattu Kaalai is indeed a great performance going by the scene and also per Haasan's acknowledgement. At this juncture, if anybody says his performance in films directed by K. Balachander were great, it was because of the latter, his mentor. Now, what is left? Rajini reached super stardom with a slew of commercial successes, most of them being masala films. Days passed by and Rajini went on to become blunt, not the same Balachander's sishyan. After Annamalai, things took a huge leap and he began focusing on style and punch dialogues rather than compelling performance. My friends say his performance as the evil robot in Enthiran reminds them of his work in Anthuleni Katha. Seriously? Well he is a lovable superstar and i always love him for the fact that i need not be moody after the film ends unlike that of a Haasan's one, Uttama Villain being the recent example. Well, how can i forget Mannan? A headstrong billionaire wife vs union leader. The only difference is that the character turns a positive one in the end at least. What made me love Neelambari is that the character remains negative even in the very last moment. I can never imagine her to be a Savitri, but i can say for sure that she was very talented compared to her colleagues. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 01:21, 14 May 2015 (UTC)
Negative shades, so what? Mammooty won a National Award for portraying a full-length negative role in Vidheyan. It doesn't really matter if the role is positive or negative. I haven't watched Anthuleni Katha, except for a few scenes like this one. But considering that it was his first full-fledged role, I thought he gave a decent performance. Where have I denied that Ramya is a talented actress? In India, especially down south, we've hardly had actresses who continue to shine even after the age of 30-40 (post-marriage). Padmini had a prolonged career even after marriage (thanks to Raj Kapoor). We all know what Savitri was like in her final days. Ramya is no exception. :) Vensatry (ping) 20:52, 14 May 2015 (UTC)
@Vensatry: Yes. You are right. Even Shah Rukh Khan won his first filmfare for Baazigar (ironically the same year). Perhaps, i have developed so much love for strong female characters like Neelambari which is making me think like this. But it is my personal opinion that the evil robot in Enthiran was really not up to the mark compared to his past villainous roles. What on earth made Shankar get inspired to give him a hairstyle like that? Well, after Ramya, team Baahubali released Kalakeya the warlord played by Prabhakar, Bijjala Deva played by Nassar and today is Kattappa played by Sathyaraj. But our discussion goes on! If any friendly stalker could have joined us, i am sure we shall discuss this for a really, really long time. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 01:41, 15 May 2015 (UTC)

Well, Baazigar was a breakthrough role for SRK, where as Enthiran and Vidheyan came much later after both Rajini and Mammooty had attained the "superstar" status. That said, Vidheyan was totally a different kind of film as it has got nothing to do with Mammooty's stardom. I agree with you on Enthiran – both Vaseegaran and Chitti were funny. Chitti was not a patch on Prasath, Ramanathan, Parattai, etc., Imagine what if Shankar had gone ahead with Kamal in the lead. Kamal as a scientist looks perfect to me: [1], although this one looks funny. The robot reminds me of Major Vijayakumar. :P Coming to Baahubali, I knew that Nasser and Sathyaraj were a part of the film long ago. Are these fictional characters? Vensatry (ping) 09:44, 15 May 2015 (UTC)

@Vensatry: Haasan does look better as the scientist but the robot, uh, is a bit odd. And, with all due respect and IMHO, PZ is a disaster. Well, Rana says Baahubali is a "fictional tale about warriors, kingdoms and struggle for power". All the characters were "supposed" to be fictional. Let's see what happens. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 09:57, 15 May 2015 (UTC)
Yeah, Aishwarya Rai was a much better choice. You say fictional, but Kalakeya, I believe is a mythological figure which had some connection with Arjuna. Vensatry (ping) 10:21, 15 May 2015 (UTC)
@Vensatry: Kingdom's name being Mahishmathi, the Kalakeya, an abandoned child racing against destiny, Rana hinting his role being on the lines of Duryodhana, a long battle to decide the ruler — all these are making me think the film is more or less inspired from the happenings of Mahabharata. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 10:24, 15 May 2015 (UTC)
Well, Prabhas will be Arjuna and Anushka will be Draupadi then? :) Vensatry (ping) 10:29, 15 May 2015 (UTC)
@Vensatry: I don't know! Prabhas plays a dual role and until 31 May, we cant get a clear idea for sure. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 10:33, 15 May 2015 (UTC)

News

A startling revelation - Me and Thamizhan1994 are classmates when we were in school!! Didn't know we would wind up through here. I actually met him in person on Facetime. Kailash informed me that he was willing to make Avvaiyar his next GA. I did not have the google previews of Dhananjayan's Pride of Tamil Cinema but he happened to have it at that time. I asked him to mail it to Kailash but Guru (his original name) sent the images to me on Facebook stating that he was busy with his personal affairs at the moment. I have mailed the pictures of the book to Kailash. Extraordinary, don't you think? Ssven2 Speak 2 me 05:45, 28 May 2015 (UTC)

I had actually mumbled about "Avvaiyar" on our Facetime meeting when he asked "What Avvaiyar?" Then I replied about Kailash's plan to make the article a GA. Then he asked me "Are u Ssven2?". Then I (initially shocked) said "Yes" to which he said, "I am Thamizhan1994". That's how we got to know each other, bro. He thanked me for the editor's barnstar I gave him. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 05:52, 28 May 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: Good. Its good to find your fellow wikipedian in real life who also happens to be your childhood friend. And you know something? A friend at Telugu wikipedia met me at Osmania University with a "Telugu Wikipedia Conference" tees. He didn't know me after all but i know him. And i don't think that i can meet anyone from English wikipedia, including you! Only Jaguar and Kailash were available as of now and, they too don't know me in real life. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 05:58, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
Quoting Vadivelu: "I sheee!" (from Marudhamalai). Well there's something extraordinary from your perespective. I and Thamizhan1994 have informed Kailash about the same on his talk page. How's it going with PB? It looks good in your sandbox. Just needs some copyedititng here and there but the bulk of the info is present. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 06:14, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: Done with PB at my sandbox today which also coincides with the 93rd birthday of N. T. Rama Rao who was elevated to stardom with this film's success. And yes, it does require a c/e. Lstanley1979 and Onel5969 aren't available for c/e and that is affecting me big time. I shall surely find some way out for this. By tonight, i can confidently say, "Pathala Bhairavi vastundira dhimbaka! hehe" Pavanjandhyala (talk) 06:27, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
Pah! What a dialogue! — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 06:35, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: Salutations to Pingali Nagendrarao and S V Ranga Rao for the same. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 06:39, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
I suggest you to add information from the PDF by S. V. Srinivas as it has very useful information (a potential "Themes and influences" section after you are finished with the rest?). PDF's are very reliable sources and as Kailash mentioned in his talk page, the person is indeed a professor. Here is the link in case you forgot about it. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 06:41, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: I was aware of the same since the beginning. Sastry's book (idlebrain source) and Srinivas' PDF (god worship conflict and others), i wanted to add info about the themes in the last with a cool mind. I shall do it in the end. Thanks for reminding! Pavanjandhyala (talk) 06:48, 28 May 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: Pathala Bhairavi vacchindira dhimbaka! hehe Now it requires a thorough c/e. Suggest someone! Pavanjandhyala (talk) 13:19, 28 May 2015 (UTC)

How about Eric Corbett? Jaguar calls him a "Wiki-god". — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 13:33, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: Eric Corbett has been blocked from editing yesterday with an expiry period of one week. Other suggestions please? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 13:37, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
Let me think... Ah yes, Folklore1. I happened to see his copyedits on Server Sundaram on the article's "View History" page. They were instrumental in making the article GA class. You can message him. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 13:45, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: Well, i would rather be silent. You are voluntarily copy-editing the article since morning and i thank you for that. Once you believe the article is ready, message me and i shall nominate it. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 14:32, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
It's best to ask Folklore1 as I didn't do much copyediting for the article. Just a few grammatical thingamajigs here and there. Also, a fresh pair of eyes would be great. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 14:43, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: Okay you did not understand the joke. Well, let me tell the truth. Folklore1 is absent since a day and his talk page suggests that he is very busy for now. Also, situation at GOCE is turning worse due to the ongoing backlogs for April and May. Also considering his inexperience with Indian English, i felt that i should not disturb him. Well, let's wait for some time, at least till tomorrow. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 14:52, 28 May 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: Is Pathala Bhairavi a lady don? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 06:13, 29 May 2015 (UTC)

Haha. Nope. Patalaloka technically means underworld. So, Danny translates PB as such. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 06:23, 29 May 2015 (UTC)

Work on PB and Mayabazar got me thinking — Why not also try to get Maro Charitra, Sankarabharanam and Sagara Sangamam to GA status? What'd you say? We can start once I get back from my exams. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 06:38, 29 May 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: We don't have any Dhananjayans, Rangans or Theodore Bhaskarans, but i cant say it is entirely impossible. Let's see. And, first complete Sri Rama Rajyam. KB and KV can wait when compared to Bapu. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 09:22, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
We can ask Vensatry to help us on MC. Ah yes, SRR is still pending. Like I said, will attend to them after my exams. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 09:25, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: Vensatry is a busy person, but he may help us in these cases. Also Kailash29792 and Thamizhan1994 may be interested as well. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 09:30, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
Yep. I will start SRR by June 2015. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 09:31, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: Good. Missamma can wait as not many reliable sources were available (except for the ones you have now). Once PB is done, Drushyam and S/O Satyamurthy are next. While the former is at GOCE upon Krimuk90's suggestions, the latter is yet to complete its trade. Did you watch any one of these two films? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 09:36, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
I have seen the original version. Not Venkatesh's one. Not seen SOS too. BTW, have you tried looking for any Telugu references for Missamma and PB? It can help both articles. Here is one from Sakshi for Missamma. I used Google to change the language from English to Telugu and typed Missamma on the online keyboard. Sakshi came up on top searches. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 09:55, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: Already covered by "Blast from the past" and other RS. But still i shall use it. And, Missamma is perhaps and underrated film. Very less sources are available from Telugu media also, unlike Mayabazar. But still i shall continue working on it, but at a later date. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:28, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
I have also listed some Tamil references in User:Ssven2/Missamma or usage. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 15:30, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: When the time comes, i shall meet you for translating them effectively. I hope you shall help. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:36, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
Gladly. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 00:09, 30 May 2015 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Pathala Bhairavi

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Pathala Bhairavi you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Dr. Blofeld -- Dr. Blofeld (talk) 16:40, 1 June 2015 (UTC)

You saw the trailer? It's top-class stuff from SSR I'd say. Ssven2 Speak 2 me 05:18, 2 June 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: Yes. After watching it, i am convinced that it would definitely be a cult film and something Indian audience have never seen before. I am also convinced that it is equally impossible to improve its article even after the end of the theatrical run of its second part. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 08:51, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
True, but you did it for Temper (film) and SOS, both of which were protected. Hopefully the same can be done for Baahubali. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 08:54, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: It is not about protection. In that case, Veeram has an indefinite protection from IP users. The issues are different. I'm not trying to praise Baahubali, but Temper and SOS are almost like pigeons before a Garuda-like-eagle named Baahubali. I used to think Enthiran is the most toughest South Indian film article to work on, but after watching this trailer and its attention in the media, Baahubali looks almost impossible. Numerous trolls, lunatics who feel the film is just a Telugu film additionally shot in Tamil, so many complications and all related to various Wiki policies at least to bring it to GA status! Also there is TRPoD who will straight away kill the article even if a poor critic gives an exaggerated statement. I'm no Rajamouli to bear this pressure. But who knows? Time may tell the answer and if the euphoria dies soon after the theatrical run of part 2 ends, Baahubali may become viable. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 09:05, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
Certainly the euphoria will disappear. It did go off for Enthiran didn't it? Now look where it is (courtesy of yours truly). You can wait until 2017 to start work on Baahubali in that case. Till then it is best to request semi-protection for the article. BTW, I'm really happy that Jaguar came to do a c/e on PB. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 09:10, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: Then we have to protect Baahubali like a new-born baby. BO figures, Critical reception can be added. But, dare i say the article will be similar to a dilapidated monument found by archaeologists till the euphoria dies. People will stress to use either the poster of part 1 or 2 or both together (an old issue with Eega). So we have to find a poster that contains only the title Baahubali, and nothing. Also it should be a better one (Reference to Raktha Charitra). And, yes Jaguar has been too kind to complete it quickly and he reveals that he too watched Mayabazar two weeks ago and became its ardent fan despite not knowing the language. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 09:21, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
That's great! (Jaguar watching the film with subtitles I presume.) About the new-born baby, Isn't there a new-born baby in Baahubali? Must be the infant Shivudu. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 09:23, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: May be. The trailer hints the same though. If you are aware of Ramya Krishna Vs Rajinikanth by me and Vensatry in my talk page, my prediction became true! Pavanjandhyala (talk) 09:27, 2 June 2015 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Pathala Bhairavi

Character map or character chart

I see that you reverted the change I made in the Drushyam article. I was the one who used the term character map and made the chart first for Manichitrathazhu and its remakes. I now think character chart is a better usage. What do you think? Also just having a title "character map of remakes" makes it look like this film is the original.--Anoopkn (talk) 08:09, 5 June 2015 (UTC)

@Anoopkn: Four issues with this otherwise constructive edit. First, why the character names were removed? Why the Hindi version details were added when only four of the five cast members are known? Why Drushyam is linked in the article? Why are the full names of both the actors and their characters were removed? Reply to this question please. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 08:16, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
@Pavanjandhyala: I just reproduced the table as it is in the Drishyam page. In Drushyam page I noticed that details of the Hindi film is missing. That's why I modified the table.--Anoopkn (talk) 10:27, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
@Anoopkn: Incomplete reply. Just because one reproduces the table from the original, that does not mean that the character and actor names are trimmed. Where is the necessity to copy paste? Only a single extra field, right? Unless and until the details of the five of them aren't available, refrain from modifying the table. Thank you! Pavanjandhyala (talk) 11:19, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
@Pavanjandhyala: Ok, once you complete the table, replicate the same in other articles as well. Take care.--Anoopkn (talk) 13:11, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
@Anoopkn: Sure. Thanks for spending your valuable time in a conversation with me at my talk page. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 13:58, 5 June 2015 (UTC)

Hey!

My exams finished almost 20 days ago but, you did not asked me to review your article for GA. Now. I'm free so if you have any articles tell me. Meanwhile, if you could look here as your inputs always help.—Prashant 04:02, 6 June 2015 (UTC)

@Prashant!: Hai, and congratulations for this. Thanks for remembering that. However Drushyam has been indefinitely postponed till a good c/e by GOCE. For now thanks to Dr. Blofeld, i brought Pathala Bhairavi to GA status with which it become the second non-21st century Telugu film to become a GA after Mayabazar, both being my GAs. Now, again after a suggestion by Dr. Blofeld, i have opened a peer review for Mayabazar which became the first Telugu film article to be attempted for FA class, Kailash29792 and Ssven2 being its co-nominators. On the other hand, work on other old Telugu cult films Missamma and Gundamma Katha is going on. I've also been busy finding and uploading posters of old Telugu films (inspired by {Kailash29792). Now, where is the time for Drushyam? Considering the backlog of GOCE, it may not happen anytime soon. Editors like Cyphoidbomb, Ssven2 and Krimuk90 are interested in Drushyam. So for now, i shall leave my comments there at your FLC, but all i can say is that i may be late. Please do not mind. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 05:05, 6 June 2015 (UTC)
OMG!! Kaminey accolades has passed FL? I Just saw it. I wasn't aware about it. Thanks! Coming to your articles, well take your time. No problem.—Prashant 05:19, 6 June 2015 (UTC)

List

I have just created a list of films that I have seen. What do you think of it? Ssven2 Speak 2 me 07:13, 7 June 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: With all due respect to our friendship, i would definitely not like to make any comments on this well written list. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 07:22, 7 June 2015 (UTC)
Thanks for the compliment. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 08:01, 7 June 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: Out of curiosity, i want to ask you only one question. I've seen that you have rated A and Super 4 stars. Did you watch Upendra (1999) and Super Ranga (2014)? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 08:12, 7 June 2015 (UTC)
A and Super had a different approach. A was a love story, while Super focused on national and social aspects. These topics were presented by many filmmakers before and after Upendra, but the way he presented both the films amazed me. That's the reason why I rated them 4 stars. BTW, I haven't seen Upendra and Super Ranga. I saw the Tamil version of SR (Thillalangadi). — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 08:17, 7 June 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: Just completed watching A. It is truly a film that deserves a four. But, Upendra was even better than this. Well, Super Ranga was the only Kannada film of Upendra i watched in theatres (thanks to a power cut during my stay in Bangalore). Not as effective as the original despite being a near carbon copy, but is definitely a good film to watch. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 16:11, 7 June 2015 (UTC)

Can you find out if there are Telugu sources (reliable of course) available for the film? Vensatry (ping) 20:18, 11 June 2015 (UTC)

Couldn't find any. Sorry! Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:31, 12 June 2015 (UTC)

This may be of some use in the article. Kailash29792 (talk) 04:17, 13 June 2015 (UTC)

@Kailash29792: After reading this, i wonder whether Mr. Ganesan spoke something good about her after her tragic death and till his demise. Did he? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 05:16, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
I suppose not, as Gemini Ganesan's closest lover was Alamelu "Bobji" - his only legal wife. Kailash29792 (talk) 05:22, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
@Kailash29792: Only legal wife! The films, actors, actresses and directors of that generation — all of them are indeed "trendsetters" in both the right and wrong ways. Dare i say that Ganesan's life has influenced the future stars a lot. Didn't it? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 05:32, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
Savitri too was a legal wife! Vensatry (ping) 15:00, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
She too is, i don't deny that. Mr. Ganesan stated that he was close to Bobji more than the other three women in his life. After reading that article, i wondered whether Ganesan spoke something anything about that woman named Savitri. Kailash says no. What you say? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:17, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
I'm not sure about it. As far as I know, he ditched his first wife for Savitri. He didn't marry Pushpavalli, and that hurt Rekha a lot. There was some rift between Savitri had GG as she would go onto lead a lonely life during her final days. While going through the article, I happened to come across this: "She was so good at it that for a long time Tamil film audience assumed that Savitri is a Tamilian." I was one of those audience (for some time during my childhood), and when I got to know the fact I was like how could she be a Telugu. :) It was only after that I came to know that my other favourites including SPB, Susheela and Janaki too were Telugus. Vensatry (ping) 17:17, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
Interesting revelation indeed. As i said earlier, Mr. Ganesan's life surely made an impact on the lives of the future superstars. Don't you think so? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 06:12, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
Are you referring to this guy? Ssven2 Speak 2 me 06:37, 14 June 2015 (UTC)

Oh come on man, Kamal Haasan was aptly called Kaathal Ilavarasan (The Prince of Romance) in the 70s. It's safe to say Kamal was GG's (The King of Romance) reel-life heir for sure. :) Vensatry (ping) 06:48, 14 June 2015 (UTC)

@Vensatry: Ah yes! Forgot Haasan there. Another one besides these two would be him as he is also being asked about his relationships with his co-stars. Even Haasan too made a few light-hearted comments about it in this video from 1:02:00 to 1:06:00. Ssven2 Speak 2 me 06:50, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
I did not understand what Haasan said. And i regret to announce that both of you are right as i referred to those three men. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 07:13, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
Haasan said that Arya can gladly have the title, The King of Romance, when Gobinath Chandran (the anchor) mentioned to Haasan about Arya's relationships. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 07:20, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
Thanks for the translation bro! Pavanjandhyala (talk) 07:26, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
GG was far more successful than his heirs. You might want to see some of the old interviews of Vani Ganapathy and Sarika. Starting with Srividya, many women have either been directly or indirectly linked with him throughout his life. As for Simbhu, need I say anything? Coming to Arya, I don't think he deserves the title. I cannot even imagine him as an actor. Forget about Kamal, IMO, he doesn't even come close to Simbhu. Even Kamal in the video jokingly says "Vacukattume" (Let him have the title). No actor would have emoted these scenes better than Kamal: 00:40, 00:70 Vensatry (ping) 07:49, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
Kamal's grip on romance can never be questioned. He is so perfect in that particular genre. I cant comment on Arya's talent as an actor, but definitely he does not deserve the title, especially after watching his villainous act in Varudu. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 12:05, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
If I were Arya, I'd have straight-away rejected the film. I'm still not able to figure out why he did that film. Vensatry (ping) 12:30, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
You've watched it? Straight or dubbed? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 12:36, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
Nope, just the climax. :) Vensatry (ping) 12:38, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
I thought your opinion was based in his entire film. But, its the overrated climax which killed the feel of the film. Well, stay away from that film. It is not anyone's cup of tea which went wrong during its makng. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 12:44, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
Well, Telugu films have always given prime importance for fantasy. But this film, especially the climax, is highly exaggerated. And I wonder why somebody like Suhasini, who always laments about the quality of films made in Tamil, is open to take up these kind of projects in Telugu! :) Vensatry (ping) 12:55, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
To be frank, Varudu had the backdrop of "five-day marriage", an almost untouched backdrop in Telugu cinema. Almost the entire film's story happens at the marriage venue. When i was watching it, i had the impression that a good script has been give an average treatment. But when this climax began, i was done with it. By the time it ends, i could remember none of the good things in the film. And, Suhasini has no prominent role in that film and that makes me wonder why she accepted it. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 13:01, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
Yep, she recently appeared in an insignificant role in Kanchana 2 as well. Vensatry (ping) 13:06, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
I neither watched the film yet, nor i wish to. Reviews mentioned her name and no comments on her performance ensured that she had nothing much to do. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 13:14, 14 June 2015 (UTC)

If not for Suhasini, you may watch it for Taapsee or Nithya Menen. :) The film was good, but definitely not a patch on the previous two ones (of the Muni series). Vensatry (ping) 13:26, 14 June 2015 (UTC)

Had enough horror comedies these days. Just watched Masss Telugu dub today. So i shall watch Kachana 2 later along with Demonte Colony. Heard the latter was good enough. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 13:54, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
//Had enough horror comedies these days// Spot on! Darling, Kanchana 2 and Demonte Colony too many isn't it? That perhaps is the reason why Masss failed big time here. Vensatry (ping) 15:32, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
Masss Telugu dub is having a decent run here thanks to zero competition from new releases. It was a good film, but i consider the excessively dragged Biriyani a better attempt. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 03:52, 15 June 2015 (UTC)
Surya has a huge fan base in AP/Telengana, no? :) Vensatry (ping) 17:19, 15 June 2015 (UTC)
Yes. Next to Rajinikanth. While Haasan, Karthi and Vishal have a strong command here (descending order), Ajith and Vijay aren't making notable progress. I think Mahesh Babu and Ram Charan hardly make their presence felt at TN Box office, what say? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 04:11, 16 June 2015 (UTC)
Contrary to the performance of Tamil (dubbed) films in AP/Telangana, Telugu-dubbed releases don't do a decent business here in TN. If there was one Telugu actor who made his presence felt in TN, it has to be Nagarjuna. Idhayathai Thirudathe and Udhayam were super-duper hits here. I know Karthi is quite popular among the Telugu audience. I think he probably is the only actor who dubs for himself even for his dubbed releases in Telugu. Vijay and Ajith, both are hardly known outside TN and Kerala. :) Vensatry (ping) 15:53, 16 June 2015 (UTC)
I can't expect Telugu dubbed films to work in Tamil, you guys are too advanced for them (the only exception has been Malayalam anyway). :P Karthi and Vishal dub for their dubbed releases in Telugu. Haasan did it for Uttama Villain and Suriya did it for Maattrraan (Akhilan only). Vijay's moves are improper now. Jilla is being dubbed into Telugu and dare i say, it is a very big blunder. Such a worst, slow and stale film it was! Pavanjandhyala (talk) 16:09, 16 June 2015 (UTC)
Of course, the Tamil film industry is far superior than its neighbouring ones when it comes to marketing. A film like Kaaka Muttai wouldn't have clicked at the box-office had it been made by any industry other than Tamil/Bollywood! Until now, I didn't know Kamal dubbed for the Telugu version. Did he part ways with SPB? :) As for Suriya, that's a shocker because he doesn't even have a proper understanding of the language, unlike his brother who looks effortless when he speaks. Vijay's movies are not usually dubbed in Telugu because most of his hit films were actually remade from Telugu (you might be knowing this very well). In Ajith's case, he doesn't have the same reach as Suriya/Vikram/Karthi in AP. Vensatry (ping) 16:55, 16 June 2015 (UTC)
"K. Balachander's last film". Perhaps that made Haasan dub for himself this time. He did it first, and wasn't satisfied and dubbed again. He also sang all the songs in the Telugu dub too. As for Suriya, i cant provide you the full film, but the trailer has Akhilan speaking with Suriya dubbing for it. Even in the Telugu dub, the entire portions of Akhilan were dubbed by Suriya while Karthi dubbed for Vimalan. Vikram has a cult following here, he cant be compared with any other Tamil actor here, including Rajini. His films are treated in a very different way here. Ajith is having his share of moderate successes these days but progress is hardly noticeable. Vijay, well, has a hit (Thuppakki) and two flops (Nanban, Thalaivaa) here. Not sure that Jilla would work. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 03:01, 17 June 2015 (UTC)
"He did it first, and wasn't satisfied and dubbed again." – Perfection personified! :) Interesting to see Suriya lending his voice that too for a dubbed film. Karthi's contibution to the film is another surprise. Kamal usually dubs for himself for his Telugu-to-Tamil dubbed films. This one was an exception though; I think Y. Gee. Mahendra had given the voice. Vensatry (ping) 17:43, 17 June 2015 (UTC)
Maattrraan was the only Tamil film whose Telugu dub features Suriya's original voice till date. Considering the ghost's half-baked Telugu in Rakshasudu, the Telugu dub of Masss, he could have comfortably dubbed for it. Well, now that Haasan and Karthi are busy with Telugu-Tamil bilinguals, it will be interesting to see whether the former would dub for himself or would bring SPB on board. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 05:27, 18 June 2015 (UTC)

Well my intention was to clean up article and add references since this film is still considered as all time classics in Telugu cinema, I've edited presuming that this is worthy for GA. Srivin (talk) 03:29, 22 June 2015 (UTC)
@Srivin: Then please expand the plot, production and if possible the music sections. Please do not use bare references. Fill them and archive them to avoid link rotting. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 12:30, 22 June 2015 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

The Original Barnstar
For bringing both Racha and Drushyam to GA! Congratulations! — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 04:03, 30 June 2015 (UTC)

You can request ScribbleInk to copyedit SOS as well. Ssven2 Speak 2 me 04:18, 30 June 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: Thanks for the barnstar bro! But, i cant ask Scribbleink or any other editor to c/e SOS as it is currently at WP:GOCE/REQ. A c/e tag itself can't be placed, which is a general one, when an article is at WP:GOCE. How can i make a personal request? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 06:45, 30 June 2015 (UTC)
I have done so for Lstanley1979 for the copyedits of Puthiya Paravai, Moondram Pirai and Enthiran. ScribbleInk did a really great job on Drushyam BTW. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 06:59, 30 June 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: Both Scribbleink and Gareth Griffith-Jones contribute with a professional level of English. Thus, i was happy when the former was on board for Drushyam, a film very close to my heart. Since Lstanley1979 is temporarily unavailable due to a new workplace as per her message, i approached Mr. Jones for Missamma. Unlike me, Scribbleink can speak Tamil also. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 07:06, 30 June 2015 (UTC)
Well done on the barnstar!
Just interested; how did you know of me? — | Gareth Griffith-Jones |The WelshBuzzard| — 09:25, 30 June 2015 (UTC)
Thank you Mr. Jones! I don't know whether my actions were right or wrong, but this is the summary of my supposed "groundwork". I was introduced to you by yourself when you made minor edits to a few Indian film-related articles, whose names i do not remember precisely. But i didn't forgot your choice of words. The character of Sherlock Holmes influenced me a lot to stalk your contributions for an hour and found out that you are an active user in the recent past. Your style and usage of words were on par with the ones who contribute with a professional level of English. Then, i saw the Wikiproject GOCE members userbox on your user page then. The case was crystal clear by then, and i made a personal request to you to copy-edit the article. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 09:50, 30 June 2015 (UTC)
Your diligence serves you proudly. I hope that I live up to your expectations. Thank you for inviting me to help. — | Gareth Griffith-Jones |The WelshBuzzard| — 12:44, 30 June 2015 (UTC)

62nd FF awards

Are you pleased with the winners, especially in the Telugu films section? Vensatry (ping) 17:34, 2 July 2015 (UTC)

Make it clear about what made you ask this question in the near midnight. Are you not happy first of all? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 02:52, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
Is it not clear that I'm seeking your opinion here? Vensatry (ping) 16:54, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
You want my opinion eh, here it is. I'm not happy with the nominations first. There too, few of the choices are pretty worst in the winners list. I can't understand why Mahesh Babu did not get a nomination for 1: Nenokkadine and why Venkatesh did not win the award for Drushyam. Ditto with Nagarjuna for Manam. Allu Arjun gave a good performance, but was it better than that of Venkatesh's? Also, i can't understand why Shruti Haasan was awarded the best actress despite Samantha and Kajal were nominated with some good performances this time (I have to confess that Shruti looked very desirable in Race Gurram). I wish not to speak about other ones. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 17:23, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
Exactly, I was referring to Shruti Haasan's win. Even Kamal himself would have laughed! :) Vensatry (ping) 17:54, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
I don't think so, that Haasan will feel bad if she wins a Filmfare. He must understand that she can never be on par with him considering the roles given to heroines these days. BTW, on what basis "you" commented on her performance in Race Gurram which is loosely based on your favourite film Agni Natchathiram? Did you watch the film apart from Manam and Govindudu Andarivadele? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 03:01, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
Of course, as a dad he won't feel bad. :) I agree with your second point, but still was she better than the other nominees? I haven't seen Race so I shouldn't have asked you this. I was under the impression that it must be a typical masala film. Having read the plot in wiki, I must say that the story resembles Agni, yet looks disjoint and weak. Assuming that you've seen both the films, you think she was better than Amala and Allu Arjun was better than Karthik? :) Vensatry (ping) 10:39, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
I don't get to see Telugu films these days. The last Telugu film that I watched must be either Arundhati or Maghadheera. I'm more inclined towards the late 70s and 80s films, be it Tamil or Telugu. I like the 80s films of Chiru's very much. Vensatry (ping) 10:42, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
Race Gurram is an otherwise weak film which has three strengths — Allu Arjun, Brahmanandam and the screenplay. It takes the very basic line from Agni Natchathiram but goes in, uh, a lighter-vein way unlike the path Mr. Rathnam chose. I saw Gharshana (its Telugu dub) and i can surely say that Karthik and Arjun are on the same level in terms of performance. Amala did a great job while Shruti was completely expressionless for a half and equally energetic in the remaining half. Her character in the film was designed such. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 11:47, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
Both Manam and Govindudu Andarivadele were the films i watched with zero expectations unlike Race Gurram for which i had a clarity to assume. I liked all the three, the first for its concept, the second for its emotional depth and the third for the very few but strong conflicts and some very funny moments from Brahmanandam. I too am a fan of Chiranjeevi's work in the 80's. Only Rudraveena was out of the blue. Really so rare that Haasan chose to remake a Chiranjeevi's film in Tamil, something Rajinikanth used to do. The only regret i had that Nagarjuna could do a film with Mr. Rathnam, and not Chiranjeevi. I feel this every time i watch Geethanjali and Thalapathi. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 11:50, 4 July 2015 (UTC)

Umm, I believe Mani wrote Ashok's character in Agni by keeping Karthik in mind. This is a role which even Kamal would have struggled to do. Now since you've said Allu Arjun was equally good, I'll try to watch Race. But still I won't say he matched Karthik. :) I don't know if you know this or not, Mani actually wanted to remake Agni in Telugu with Nagarjuna and Venkatesh (playing Prabhu and Karthik respectively). Imagine real-life in-laws playing step brothers in reel life. The project was almost finalized but for some reasons it failed to take off (I guess Venki was not interested). But Nagarjuna was very keen to work with Mani, so came Geethanjali. Coming to Shruthi, she is a below average actor and has a big let down with her voice (in dubbing). Her spoken Tamil was so irritating that I hated seeing 7aum Arivu. Mani would've definitely collaborated with Chiru, had the latter been a star kid! (remember our discussion about Mani and his obsession with star kids some time ago). Rudraveena was clearly a KB film, so is the deviation. And, it was KB who remade the film in Tamil and not Kamal himself. Vensatry (ping) 14:35, 4 July 2015 (UTC)

I'm not saying that Allu Arjun performed on par with Karthik. My intention was that just like how Karthik was the biggest plus of Agni Natchatiram, Arjun is the biggest plus of Race Gurram. Both play similar roles, that was my reason for comparison. There is a reason behind Venkatesh rejecting that film. His sister divorced Nagarjuna are re-married some NRI. I don't think so that Chaitanya could not have been that close to Nagarjuna if the latter wasn't kind enough. So, i strongly believe that it must have been an amicable decision to drop the project in order to take time to bury the hatchet. Coming to Rudraveena, yes it was a KB's film and he himself directed in Tamil. I watched it and found that KB reworked on its screenplay a bit. Still, it was amusing for me that Haasan opted for a remake despite having several good scripts on hand. I remember our discussion about Mr. Rathnam, but both Rajinikanth and Chiranjeevi are not star kids. They began their journey with KB as struggling actors. They played villains, they turned heroes, they turned stars and now are cultural icons. Their journey is similar somewhat. That's why i wondered why Mr. Rathnam did not direct Chiranjeevi in a film like Thalapathi. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:27, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
May be I got your explanation wrong! Thanks for clarifying. Not long ago, I was under the impression that Nagarjuna had ditched his first wife for Amala. Didn't know it was the other way round. Kamal doing remakes isn't a surprise thing. In the 80s, he remade many Hindi films (starring AB). 1985-1990 was a tough period for him as he had a setback in personal life (for marrying Sarika) which in turn affected his career. With the exception of Nayagan, most of his films failed miserably. Believe it or not, Agni Natchathiram scored well above Nayagan at the box-office. In the Conversations with Mani Ratnam, Mani says he worked with Rajini because of his elder brother (G. Venkateswaran) who happened to be a good friend of Rajini. Have you watched Idi Katha Kaadu, Kaali and Ranuva Veeran? Vensatry (ping) 16:24, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
I watched Kaali. I'm yet to watch the other two films in my leisure time. Well, Haasan may have faced failures then. But there were other career-defining hits apart from Nayakan like Sagara Sangamam, Swati Mutyam, Pushpaka Vimanam and Apoorva Sagodharagal. I want to see all the four turn GAs. Let's see what happens! Pavanjandhyala (talk) 16:34, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
I think Apoorva Sagodharagal is in the making! Vensatry (ping) 16:43, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
Yes. It is. Ssven2 and i are collaborating for the remaining ones except Pushpaka Vimanam. We are also planning for Maro Charitra. Though the work would not begin anytime soon, i hope that you shall help us on these five articles, mainly the last one. Also, i am aiming to bring either Uttama Villain or Papanasam to GA soon. Suggest any one. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 16:50, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
I'll try to gather sources. It's good that you want to take Pushpak to GA. At this stage, I seriously doubt you'll be able find sources for Maro Charitra. I haven't seen both UV and Papanasam. Let me watch at least Papanasam before I comment. :) Vensatry (ping) 16:56, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
If Haasan comes up with something like this on Maro Charithra, it can be helpful. I watched Uttama Villain and am yet to watch Papanasam. I could bring Drushyam to GA status recently. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 17:06, 4 July 2015 (UTC)

Another star kid for Mr. Rathnam commander! Pavanjandhyala (talk) 04:49, 6 July 2015 (UTC)

Ha, hope this isn't a rumour! Mani has a special liking towards Karthi right from the Aayutha Ezhuthu days when he joined his unit as an assistant. In fact, he did an uncredited role in the film. So technically, they've already done a film together! Vensatry (ping) 07:14, 6 July 2015 (UTC)
Karthi is a good performer. Also, given the genres Mr. Rathnam is choosing these days, this may be an intense film unlike O Kadhal Kanmani. Karthi is also acting in his first direct Telugu film (a bilingual actually) alongside Nagarjuna and Tamannaah which happens to be the adaptation of The Intouchables. His childhood friend Mahesh Babu is acting in a direct Tamil film (also a bilingual) titled Brahmotsavam. I am really waiting for these two films. What about you? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 07:30, 6 July 2015 (UTC)
Yeah, hoping that it'll most likely be an intense film on the lines Paruthiveeran. Karthi is good in such ruffian roles. I was knowing about his film with Nagarjuna. Thanks for letting me know about Brahmotsavam. Is this film being made to commemorate Krishna's 50 years of completion in cinema? BTW, were Karthi and Mahesh Babu friends in childhood? Mahesh belonged to Vijay/Suriya's batch I guess. Vensatry (ping) 07:46, 6 July 2015 (UTC)
Nothing like that. Brahmotsavam's first look poster was released on that occasion. I am damn sure, the first look poster featuring the actors and a teaser will surely be unveiled on 9 August. It is happening every year almost, except in the case of Businessman. The film's basic theme looks interesting. I came to know that Karthi was Mahesh's schoolmate after going through here — 1, 2 when i was working on my pet project, the BLP of Mahesh Babu. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 07:56, 6 July 2015 (UTC)
That's quite interesting, especially the 4'0 clock thing! Vensatry (ping) 08:04, 6 July 2015 (UTC)
I began working on the article correctly today. I found that 4' o clock thing not so trivial and added it as a quote in the "Early life and family" section today. Would it be a case of WP:UNDUE? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 08:06, 6 July 2015 (UTC)
It definitely borders WP:UNDUE unless their friendship itself forms a substantial part of their biographies. Vensatry (ping) 08:27, 6 July 2015 (UTC)
So, i think i should retain the reference and remove the quote. What say? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 08:32, 6 July 2015 (UTC)

Hey! I do understand that the gross figures are contested, but just added it because it was already in the article. Why don't you consider removing that ref? Yours sincerely, Josephjames.me (talk) 14:09, 3 July 2015 (UTC)

I can't, because OI is a reliable source. Only if i can find a better RS, i can replace it. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 14:10, 3 July 2015 (UTC)

Example

1.06 billion (valued at about US$32,766,000 in 1995)[a]

Link to INR is only once. After that, no links to INR to avoid WP:OVERLINK. Calculate the value of the INR at 1957 and write the approximated value. — 160 million (valued at about US$4,946,000 in 1995)[a]Ssven2 Speak 2 me 04:22, 8 July 2015 (UTC)

Thanks Ssven2. I shall do it soon. But, the amount is of 1955 i.e. its budget. Conversion cost is easy since it is 2010. Will it be correct to use 1995 USF rates? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 04:40, 8 July 2015 (UTC)
That was just an example of how it should be done. I have also made an edit here and here on how you should go about it. Follow that and it should be fine. Remember, divide the value by 4.79 (like 200,000/4.79 = 4157). — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 04:44, 8 July 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: I didn't observe those earlier. When i did, i was about to tweak my reply, but it became an edit conflict. I shall remember this. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 04:47, 8 July 2015 (UTC)
BTW, it was really good that you got Miniapolis as a copyeditor. The article looks so much better now. His copyedits help Chandralekha to become a GA and subsequently FA. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 04:49, 8 July 2015 (UTC)

Baahubali

When are you going to watch it? What is the effect of this film in South India? I want to tell you it blew my mind and man the soundtrack is so haunting. Saw it 2 times and still want to go for the third time.—Prashant 09:18, 12 July 2015 (UTC)

@Prashant!: I'm going to watch it tomorrow morning. So, no spoilers please. Good to know that you loved the film. I suggest you to watch Magadheera and Eega if possible. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 11:45, 12 July 2015 (UTC)
By the way, I didnt gave any spoilers. And I will soon watch both of them. Now, Im off to watch Baahubali again with friends. The show was sold out, just after we got 8 tickets for the night show. Phew!! We were so lucky. Everyone is talking about the film in my city, even the auto-taxi drivers. Quite an event film.—Prashant 14:53, 12 July 2015 (UTC)
@Prashant!: I asked you not to give. I did not say you gave out. Situation in South India is similar. Here Baahubali release was celebrated like a festival. Most of the people are breathless and are waiting for the conclusion. Few Hollywood Patrons are panning the film, but the others are giving a deaf ear. Till Srimanthudu comes, Baahubali will have a great run here. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 17:28, 12 July 2015 (UTC)
Who cares!! If they are doing so by comparing it to something like an Avengers or a Madmax, then sorry to say those people in hollywood are fools. This film is made by 1/5 part of the budget of those blockbuster films. By the way, some of hollywood techinicians work on those films are indians too, but in this i dont think any american was involved. I am proud that something like Baahubali came out of India and that too not from Bollywood but south India. The ending makes everyone to wait eagerly for the part 2 and I dont think that happened with any of the above mentioned films.—Prashant 18:50, 12 July 2015 (UTC)
@Prashant!: Well said. But, let me tell you if you aren't aware. 17 VFX companies and 600 technicians across the world worked on Baahubali. There may be an american in this list. But, surely, Rajamouli has raised the bar of Indian cinema with this film. I'm sure it shall dominate NFA this time. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 01:40, 13 July 2015 (UTC)

Hi! I don't mean to take you down. Vandalism

This is regarding the message you left me regarding vandalism. I am not sure what you were talking about. I was citing reliable sources while i did the changes. Film Baahubali is a Telugu production which was shot in Telugu and Tamil. It was primarily a Telugu film according to an article posted in the guardian. [1]. I can quote several official pages which reiterates the fact that this is primarily a telugu film. Just because you add tamil words to the film to do some business doesn't make this a Tamil film. The link for the video here officially interview with Rana and Rajdeep Sardesai reiterates its a Telugu film. <http://indiatoday.intoday.in/story/baahubali-reasons-behind-the-unprecedented-success-of-ss-rajamouli-film-prabhas-rana-daggubati-tamannaah-bhatia-anushka-shetty-karan-johar-release-box-office/1/452054.html> . The tweet by Nara Chandrababu Naidu here is one more example. <https://twitter.com/ncbn/status/620235989919776768> . The sad part is that the page is captured by tamilians who are trying to take credit . Shame on you.

P.S Here is one article saying Enthiran is produced in Tamil and Telugu. Will Tamil people allow this?.[2] How can you take credit for no reason. Aloosamosa (talk) 23:52, 20 July 2015 (UTC)AS

@Aloosamosa: The source you provided for Enthiran is not a reliable source. It has been proved a Tamil film since the lip sync in the Telugu version has been proved as Tamil. Similarly, i can say that Baahubali as a Tamil film also because, while reviewing the film, The Times of India wrote "There are some shots (even close-ups) where we see the actors speaking their lines in Telugu, which is jarring." The Guardian report which you show writes "also filmed in Tamil, and dubbed into Hindi and Malayalam", The India Today interview and NCBN's tweet are related to the Telugu version only. The film's cast, its producers and the director himself admit that this film is a bilingual. If you further want to check up, watch the Tamil version in theatres. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 08:10, 21 July 2015 (UTC)
your answer shows your desperation to try and make it as a tamil film. thats a very good joke of you. All the actors are telugu people and you speak of jarring. Surya dubbed for prabhas in tamil version. Dont you even know that fact. The only reason why this film was made in tamil was to evade 50% of tax imposed by tamil nadu govt on dubbed films. The producers have to shell out almost 20crores alone for this. Even the tamil stars are publicly stating that Tamil industry should learn from Telugu industry. I know there are a lot of Tamil admins here but still we will try our best to put our arguments .

Aloosamosa (talk) 07:01, 22 July 2015 (UTC)

@Aloosamosa: I am not trying to show it as a Tamil film. First of all, do you know that i am not a Tamil user? Do you know that i am not an administrator? Accepted, Baahubali is the highest grossing Telugu film of all time. And i also agree that it is the pride of Telugu cinema. Including National Awards, any award and accolade shall be awarded to the Telugu version only. The ultimate respect shall be received by Telugu film industry only. But, are you aware of these words said by Rajamouli to IANS - "Given the budget of the film, it’s impossible to recover the cost involved if we release in one language. Right from the start, the plan was to make it as a Tamil-Telugu bilingual. Hence, we cast actors who are popular in both the industries". Isn't this statement from the maker himself enough? I only want to make sure that the filmmaker's intention is mentioned correctly in the article. That's all. BTW, i didn't know that Suriya dubbed for Prabhas in the Tamil version and i thank you for letting me know. Please provide a source for the same. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 08:31, 22 July 2015 (UTC)
@Pavanjandhyala Here is the reference. You can find more discussion about this in Quora. google it. I only wanted to make sure due credit is given to the industry who has worked relentlessly for the past 3 years. Sad to see any mention of Telugu industry is being reverted immediately. Aloosamosa (talk) 12:52, 22 July 2015 (UTC)
@Aloosamosa: The correct way is to mention it as a bilingual in the lead, explaining in the production section that Rajamouli made it so because he felt that it’s impossible to recover the cost involved if released in one language and he dubbed it in Hindi and Malayalam additionally. Down in legacy section, we quote what celebrities and newspapers lauded the film. Obviously praise on Telugu cinema will be mentioned there perfectly. Since that happens, we summarise it in the lead section as per WP:LEAD. Awards and accolades will be received by Telugu version itself and that too, would be mentioned in the lead. Your/similar edits are reverted because bilingual is replaced with Telugu / sentences like "primarily shot in Telugu" are found. Whether one accepts it or not, it is a truth that Baahubali is a bilingual and it is also a truth that Telugu version is being praised unanimously. We did not develop the article deliberately because it is very unstable right now. Do you know how many times Baahubali is protected from IP vandals? Chennai Express became a good article in 2015 though the film released in 2013. If such a film took two years, imagine how much time a film like Baahubali with this much euphoria would take? I hope you understand. And, the source you provided has been confirmed as a non reliable source. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:18, 22 July 2015 (UTC)

Mahesh Babu

Please stop deleting and manipulating sourced content, I wonder why you wish to remove content about box office of Nenokkadine in U.S. what is your problem. Arichuvadi (talk) 16:02, 26 July 2015 (UTC)

@Arichuvadi: I don't have any such issues, in fact i have with your edits here. First, why is TSR-TV9 awards removed though the source has been reliable. Second, why you are using the same image again in "In the media section" and that too, you remove the caption there. Why using the same file twice? Third, why the reason Mahesh turned a co-producer has been removed? Fourth, what does "Rv" mean in such edit summary where such important changes were made? You are supposed to mention it as much clear as possible. Please remember i had no issues with the remaining portions of your edit and i clearly mentioned the same in my message to you. You are deleting sourced content, not myself. I am instead trying to make that article a better one (which eventually may be aimed for GA) and soon after completing the rest, i shall rewrite the lead which now boasts of his films rather than giving a correct summary of what "he" has done. If possible, help me. Or else, at least let me know whether i am wrong. Instead of that, accusing me of something which you are doing isn't correct. Further disruption shall give affect you. Please take care. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 16:45, 26 July 2015 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

The Tireless Contributor Barnstar
With S/O Satyamurthy, you achieved a streak of 15 consecutive GAs (5 hat tricks)! I think I should call you the Moses of Telugu cinema Wikipedians. Kailash29792 (talk) 16:53, 26 July 2015 (UTC)
@Kailash29792: OMG! I am not eligible to be compared to Moses! Anyways, thanks for the barnstar. You are being too kind. Coming to the "streak", it reminds me of the mighty one of Mark Calaway. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 17:07, 26 July 2015 (UTC)
I don't think there is any other Telugu cinema Wikipedian who is committed to making GA/FAs (except whoever made Bommarillu a GA, though it needs reassessment). Had Raghusri remained, he too could have made it big. The Moses statement was to show how you lead the others of your kind. Kailash29792 (talk) 17:16, 26 July 2015 (UTC)
Thank you Kailash! Raghusri recently made two edits to Srimanthudu, but the status remains the same. Krzna too waltzes rarely through. Once an ex-wikipedian said to me, "it is better to make the article of your favourite film a GA/FA rather than making POV pushing statements." Fortunately, my streak is running. However Krimuk90's retirement made me speechless. It hurts more because his last GAR was my GAN and i was his last FLC reviewer. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 17:26, 26 July 2015 (UTC)

List of Highest grossing Indian films

Please put your comment supporting telugu only. here Marchoctober (talk) 08:18, 27 July 2015 (UTC)

@Marchoctober: I thank you for giving me this opportunity. I accept Baahubali is the pride of Telugu cinema. The Telugu version remains the most unanimously acclaimed one among all, including the Tamil version. Instead of focusing in which way that acclaim be placed in the article in a neutral way, what you are doing isn't correct. Instead of behaving like an Indian wikipedian focusing on reliable sourced content, you are bringing regional differences by asking me and others to "put your comment supporting telugu only" and that is not a good sign. I gave my opinion. If you like it, support that. If not, leave me alone. But let me specify that my opinion is in favour of Telugu. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 08:47, 27 July 2015 (UTC)

Baahubali

Watched it last Saturday. My friends had told me that it was the most overrated and hyped movie in the recent years. But I quite liked the film. :) Vensatry (ping) 07:32, 3 August 2015 (UTC)

I too did. Especially since pre-interval. But do you think the criticism regarding Tamannaah's disrobing sequence in the film a justifiable one? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 08:55, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
Yeah, the post-interval scenes were dragging and easily predictable. I feel Aayirathil Oruvan had a much better story-line and was perfectly executed. Coming to the "sequence", it's not something new in India. I remember a lovemaking scene involving Nagarjuna and Raveena Tandon in Agni Varsha, which is much more sensuous than this one. That said, I don't see a problem with the one in Baahubali, although I couldn't resist Tamannah's overacting in a few scenes (she reminded me of her acting in Kedi). Vensatry (ping) 10:02, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
Yes. I too watched Kedi and that was horrible in everything. Keeping aside her glam-doll acts (in which she always excels) Tamannaah did a good job in most of the places but in a few sequences, especially close-ups, she got on my nerves. When compared to Agni Varsha, the sequence in Baahubali was more playful than sensual. Baahubali stood strong because of the performances only. The story was regular, but not boring. In fact, the climax was a stunner. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 10:10, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
"The story was regular, but not boring." Indeed! I saw the film in my hometown. Both the Tamil and Telugu versions ran to packed houses on weekends, very uncommon for a Telugu film in TN in a long time. Vensatry (ping) 13:13, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
Tammannah's body language was very bad especially in those scenes where she had to fight in her introduction scene. Two sequences: she runs while looking back with that fake running posture and when she was surprised by her second tatoo. Also, the scene where she was called by her "Sardar". LOL.—Prashant 13:24, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
Well Vensatry, that's Baahubali for us. And Prashant, IMHO i don't think so anyone else too would've suited for Avanthika down south. Casting someone from Bollywood wouldn't help either. Tamannaah was neither great nor worst. She did something sincerely, within her limitations. A reviewer said aptly, it is easy to buy Tamannaah as an angelic beauty but not as a warrior. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 14:33, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
Yeah! She did her best and largely succeeded i guess.—Prashant 15:15, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
Meanwhile, he is waiting :) Vensatry (ping) 14:45, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
For what? If for a role, i don't think so that there would be any scope for one that can shoulder his stardom. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 14:48, 3 August 2015 (UTC)

Box-office :) Vensatry (ping) 15:04, 3 August 2015 (UTC)

Possible. Enthiran 2 may fit the bill. But Subha's lack would give Shankar a huge bolt again, which was evident in I. BTW, Sathyaraj was brilliant as Kattappa. But, can we bear watching Rajinikanth in that role? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:06, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
This is a good news Baahubali at 500 Crore, 100 Crore from Hindi Version. Wait for part 2 as it will atleat do a business of 200 Crore with a bumper opening because of the goodwill of this film and greatness of itself.—Prashant 15:17, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
I really want to see that happen. Truly! Wonder whether this time too KJo would come forward. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:20, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
Yes, he will. But i don't think that helped the film to what it really got. People saw this film because it was critically praised and the word-of mouth was strong. It had nothing to do with KJO. KJO should give The Immortals of Meluha to Rajamouli to direct if he want a brilliant film out of it. Others will ruin that brilliant book series like Twilight.—Prashant 15:26, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
Possible, but The Immortals of Meluha requires an exactly brilliant casting. Slightest mistake will bring the whole effort down, especially for Sati and Veerabhadra. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:36, 3 August 2015 (UTC)

Very true because India too can have an epic trilogy on the lines of LOTR. There were reports that Chopra and Balan were in negotiations for the role of Sati opposite Hrithik as Shiva. What do you yhink who fits the bill perfectly? Please, KJO don't get Alia for that.—Prashant 15:40, 3 August 2015 (UTC)

See, The Immortals of Meluha requires a casting that is brilliant as well as unconventional. SOTY cast isn't suitable for any role in that story. Also Hrithik, Chopra and Balan cannot bring those characters to life for sure though they are exceptional performers. Neither Prabhas nor Rana can be a Siva, though the latter's Bhallaladeva can bring Veerabhadra back to life IMHO. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:54, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
If not they, then i don't think anyone suits those characters. I bet Karan will cast all his students in important roles if not the lead, which would be disaster.—Prashant 16:03, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
It is not that they will'nt. It is that unless a visionary director like Rajamouli or Shankar directs the film, we cannot expect anything good. It also depends on how that trio would understand and interpret those characters correctly. KJo can never cast SOTY leads for these roles, especially Varun Dhawan (who did a great job in a anti-heroic role in Badlapur nevertheless). I agree, Alia would mess it completely. With her childish looks and dialogue delivery, she would look like a cute puppy cast to play a majestic horse. :P Pavanjandhyala (talk) 16:10, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
With Hrithik, Chopra and Balan as Shiva, Sati and Kali respectively or exchange Kali with Chopra and Balan as Sati and a director like S. S. Rajamouli can create magic on-screen. For writing, i think they should consult the team of Kaminey as Bharadwaj and team can adapt a masterpiece say Omkara and Maqbool. It's mean that Karan is casting Alia Bhatt in all his films, neglecting a brilliant anctyor like Parineeti. He is very powerful and can build or break someone's career. He is building Alia's career, which would have been a complete flop otherwise. [This interview of Kangana shows what if you don't have anyone in the industry. So sad.—Prashant 16:19, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
Pavan, Let's see if Enthiran 2 first materialises to take off? Subha? I guess you were referring to Sujatha. Yes, the Sujatha factor was a big let down in I. I don't like Sathyaraj even as a human being. Wish he remained as a sidekick to main villains in the 80s Rajini/Kamal films. What made you think Rajini should do that role? Vensatry (ping) 16:24, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
Sorry Vensatry. I meant Sujatha only. I could feel the lack of punch despite being a non-Tamil when i watched I. And, i found Kattappa's character an ideal one to be portrayed by Rajinikanth because of its inherent simplicity, honesty and valour. Muthu influenced my decision. Just imagine when Ramya Krishnan shouts "Kattappa" and Rajini jumps with his Muthu hairstyle which can be shown as a bald head one when Shiva comes into the picture. And Prashant, i think SRK is theonly actor in the recent times who made it big without anyone's backing and without any obstacles. All the rest had their share of sufferings, particularly Ranaut. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 16:40, 3 August 2015 (UTC)

Indeed, Sujatha was the backbone of Shankar's films and the post 90 films of Mani. I don't think anyone could replace him in the near future because unlike Malayalam, the Tamil film industry doesn't always welcome literary figures to cinema. Rajini as Kattappa? – Leave his fans, even Prabhas will kill you. :) I strongly recommend you read this before commenting further. :) Vensatry (ping) 17:31, 3 August 2015 (UTC)

I totally forgot this, and thanks for reminding. As i said before, Muthu influenced my decision. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 00:48, 4 August 2015 (UTC)
Wondering why because he was the main lead in Muthu. Vensatry (ping) 06:54, 4 August 2015 (UTC)
I speak about the character's traits and mentality, not the regular Rajini moments. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 07:16, 4 August 2015 (UTC)

Pavanjandhyala, namaskaram! I know this is a bit outside of your area of interest in film, but I was wondering if you could take a look at my FAC nomination at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Romney Literary Society/archive1 and provide me with any feedback or guidance you may have. I value your contributions and would like to further improve upon this article. Thanks! -- West Virginian (talk) 22:44, 3 August 2015 (UTC)

Thanks for considering me, West Virginian. I regret to announce that due to terrible health constraints, i am unable to participate in FAC/FLC reviews at the point. I kept my GA plans on hold, and even i did not close the PR of my first FA aim — Mayabazar, the greatest Indian film of all time as per a poll by CNN-IBN. I answered to you at Missamma GAR because it was open and it was you who was reviewing it. Anyways, i am sure that this user shall help you better than me in all ways. All the best. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 01:08, 4 August 2015 (UTC)

I hope you are fine now. Have you recovered completely from bad health? Would you like to take a look here. It's been 10 days and still not a single comment. Hope you can help.—Prashant 16:40, 6 August 2015 (UTC)

I don't think so you may believe it, but i am still not healthy. I had blood vomits frequently and am recuperating now. Please, when i find time, i shall help you. Is that fine? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 16:44, 6 August 2015 (UTC)
Yeah, it's okay. Take rest and sleep well. You will be fine. Wishing you a fast recovery.—Prashant 16:53, 6 August 2015 (UTC)
Thanks Prashant. I am now being given iron dips and just recently my wiki plans are resumed. You know that iron dip given to an iron-deficient, that too blood lost person shall make him feel very weak. So, i may be back to full-fledged editing only after a week. Meanwhile, i am just spending time on two articles whenever i feel trauma. Hoping the best for you! Pavanjandhyala (talk) 16:56, 6 August 2015 (UTC)

Pokiri and remakes

I seriously doubt if Rajotto can qualify as an official remake of Pokiri; I have found no reliable sources regarding this. But in this page, a critic compared it to Wanted due to the plot similarities, but did not mention it as a remake. Does it look worth adding to Pokiri? Kailash29792 (talk) 06:17, 10 August 2015 (UTC)

Kailash, the source is a Bangladesh based newspaper and thus can be considered reliable. But, the critic feels that Rajotto's plot resembles Wanted. I can say that Unnal Mudiyum Thambi is a remake of Rudraveena. But i cannot say that O Kadhal Kanmani is a remake of Alaipayuthey though they have an eerie resemblance in terms of story and treatment. So, i am not going to call Rajotto as a remake of Pokiri considering what the source says. Neither it can be added as a work inspired from Pokiri. It solely belongs to Wanted. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 09:23, 10 August 2015 (UTC)

I may not guarantee a visit, but will surely try to make one once i am hale and healthy. All the best, bro! Pavanjandhyala (talk) 13:30, 10 August 2015 (UTC)

Fygu, you are a fan of Ravi Teja right! After completely developing it (BO trade should be completed, may be by October/November) by following the style recommended here, get it copyedited by placing a request at WP:GOCE/REQ which may take upto a month. After that you can nominate Kick 2 for good article status. If it passes the review, Kick 2 will become the first Ravi Teja film to attain good article status here. I am doing the same for Bengal Tiger. Lets hope that we both shall be successful! Pavanjandhyala (talk) 13:28, 18 August 2015 (UTC)

The reason is simple. The writer's motive is clear — normalise the protagonist's life, throw a twist, shift to thriller genre till the very end. That is why this is purely a thriller. I hope you watched the film and if not yet, please do. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 12:48, 21 August 2015 (UTC)

Although many users have given quick-support to Kalidas' FAC, the article has undergone slight revamps in the midst of them. Please re-evaluate it and tell me if there is anything I can do, as I do not seek for the article to wrongfully pass FAC (FACs usually get promoted just based on the number of supports). Kailash29792 (talk) 16:50, 24 August 2015 (UTC)

I know that. If i feel there is a concern, i shall not hesitate to speak. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 00:52, 25 August 2015 (UTC)

I helped resolved the comments at Kubrick's GAR and the article is now a GA! Doc's dream of getting Kubrick to beyond is partially fulfilled. Wanted to share the news with you. Ssven2 Speak 2 me 06:18, 25 August 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: Hope your Indian cinema's Kubrick's article reaches at least a readable stage. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 08:15, 25 August 2015 (UTC)
Uppi hardly has a chance for FA (sadly due to lack of reliable sources.) It can at least become a GA though! — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 08:16, 25 August 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: I said "readable". Neither a GA nor a FA. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 08:19, 25 August 2015 (UTC)
If that's the case, it could use a thorough copyedit. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 08:20, 25 August 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: Let's see. BTW, i have watched Emmtan Magan. Despite a few scenes reminding typical south indian soap operas, it seemed to be a good drama film, especially the climax. Yet to watch Kullanari Koottam. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 08:24, 25 August 2015 (UTC)
Nice. How was Vadivelu in EM BTW? Ssven2 Speak 2 me 08:25, 25 August 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: Hilarious is an apt word. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 08:29, 25 August 2015 (UTC)
Figured you would like him. More than that, he seemed to me like a 2nd hero in the film too (helping Bharath and standing by him, his confrontations with Nasser et al.) Which Vadivelu scene did you like the most? — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 08:33, 25 August 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: This one, particularly the way it ends. However, i watched the Telugu dubbed version here, so i cant quote the dialogues i liked. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 08:41, 25 August 2015 (UTC)

That one, figured you would say that! Tops it all! "Sudaa Coffee kudichalum thangikka maattaarae da. Avar maelaya da nerruppa allippottinga." ("He can't stand a hot cup of Coffee and you pour fire onto him.") LOL! — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 08:50, 25 August 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: Almost all his sequences in the film were a huge plus. But as i said earlier, this film's treatment at places reminds me of several long-running south indian soap operas. Also, the background score could have been more subtle at places. Anyways, it is a truth that i enjoyed watching it because of the inherent family bonding and a redeeming climax. I hope you too enjoy watching the film Oohalu Gusagusalade suggested by me previously. If you did not archive your messages at Films seen talk page, the official youtube link with subtitles is available there. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 09:11, 25 August 2015 (UTC)

About Mahesh Babu

Hi, I don't know why your adding the reference of Malayam actor Mahesh. I have changed it four to five times. Please don't keep any reference in big star page like Mahesh. Kalidas319 (talk) 09:45, 25 August 2015 (UTC)

See Mr. Kalidas, Mahesh Babu may be a superstar outside. But here, at Wikipedia, Mahesh Babu is just one of the many articles. That is why we add a note about that actor with the same name to avoid confusions to those who definitely do not know him. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 13:46, 25 August 2015 (UTC)
I have also re-added it, as standard for when we have multiple different topics with same or confusingly-similar titles. As to the original concern, this is exactly to avoid reader confusion about who is the big star. DMacks (talk) 14:59, 25 August 2015 (UTC)

GOCE Pokiri Copy Edit

Hello Pavanjandhyala:
I have finished a first pass at copyediting the plot section of Pokiri. For the most part, I think I understood your original text and I hope that my edits have improved it. Please do read it carefully though to make sure I have not made any errors as, of course, I have not seen the film.
I did have difficulties in three places:

  • ”After Shruti distances herself from Pandu, Pasupathy frames her in a sexual assault case by a few gangsters with the intention of ruining her life and subsequently forcing her to be his mistress. Learning this, Pandu confronts Pasupathy and warns him that he will face dire consequences if Shruti is found guilty.” I don’t understand this. Is Shruti being framed for the sexual assault of two gangsters? Seems unlikely. This needs clarifying.
  • Krishna Manohar I. P. S. – what does I.P.S. mean? I assume they are initials representing a title?
  • "Once I commit to something, even I can't convince myself." Is this really the complete catchphrase? It seems incomplete and, as it stands makes no sense to me. It's like Clint Eastwood in Dirty Harry saying "Make my." and not adding day. Could it be something like “ … even I can’t convince myself to stop?”

I will watch your page, and the article, for your updates if any. In the meantime, as time allows, I will continue with the edit.
Kind regards - Twofingered Typist (talk) 21:47, 9 September 2015 (UTC)

First of all, i would like to thank you for taking up this c/e request. My answers to your three questions :
  • Paspupathy sends a few gangsters to Shruti's place to enact a sexual assault "on her". Both the gangsters and Shruti know that it was just acting. The remaining family members and other colony residents do not know. Pasupathy does this with the intention of ruining her life and subsequently forcing her to be his mistress (one of the main agendas of this character). Pandu knows about this, attacks him in incognito (by covering his face and later calling through a public telephone, without revealing his name) and says "I attacked you because i doubt your involvement. If you are confirmed guilty, you are bound to die".
  • I. P. S. stands for Indian Police Service. You can refer to the article's "History" section to know the reasons behind its usage.
  • Yes, it may. A sad case of terrible subtitling.

Once again, thanks for taking up the c/e task, Twofingered Typist! Pavanjandhyala (talk) 01:21, 10 September 2015 (UTC)

More questions re Pokiri

Hello Pavanjandhyala:
Thanks for your clarifications. Please have a look at the "Plot" section to make sure it is correct and change anything I have missed.

In the "Origin" section we have:
Jagannadh planning Sri Krishnudu – he abandons this

The film's title is Sri Krishnudu from Surabhi Company, and i understand that you have assumed it as a film titled Sri Krishnudu produced by Surabhi Company.
  • J. revives a script Utam Singh… later approaches Teja who agrees to play the lead
Yes.
  • Teja decides to do remake of Autograph – Uttam Singh… is shelved
Yes.
  • Jagannadh produces 143 and Teja walks out of the production (I don’t understand the call-sheets reference, can you elaborate?) - also, I thought he was doing the remake of Autograph?
He completed Autograph, J. completed 143. They met again, and the actor backed out citing scheduling conflicts with other existing commitments.

In the next paragraph:,br /> Jagannadh met Mahesh Babu at Taj Hotel – in which city?

Hyderabad

Mahesh liked the script but suggested Jagannadh “remove the Sikh backdrop for nativity reasons” – sorry I have no idea what this means – could you explain?

Sikh community is a bigger one in Punjab and North India. Down South (Where this film happens), Sikh community people are not found frequently. IMO, Mahesh wanted to make sure that the general Telugu speaking audience do not find the protagonist a bit alienated because he is a Sikh. So, let's do a thing. Lets tweak the sentence as Mahesh liked the script and suggested Jagannadh to tweak the script's backdrop to suit the Telugu-speaking peoples' sensibilities. Is it okay for you, Twofingered Typist? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 17:20, 10 September 2015 (UTC)

I look forward to your clarifications. Twofingered Typist (talk) 14:16, 10 September 2015 (UTC)

GA Reviewer

Do you have any intension of reviewing GAC's? Since we lack good article reviewers currently. If you could review Jacqueline Fernandez for frankie! coz he can't find anyone for it. Yashthepunisher (talk) 17:04, 11 September 2015 (UTC)

I'm not a good reviewer. However, i will find a good one for his GAN (not spelt as GAC). Pavanjandhyala (talk) 17:16, 11 September 2015 (UTC)
If you can review list's why can't article's?? but as you wish. By GAC I meant Good Article Candidate. Yashthepunisher (talk) 17:24, 11 September 2015 (UTC)
List is easier than GA, always. Lists have a format, lists have only a lead, and a few references. GA on the other hand, is very bigger responsibility than a list. It is the third highest degree an article can receive here (After FA and A-Class). Candidate requires multiple supports, GA requires a single one. Thay is why we call it a GAN. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 17:30, 11 September 2015 (UTC)
Okay then. Yashthepunisher (talk) 17:35, 11 September 2015 (UTC)
Yash, I've requested Dr. Blofeld for the same. I hope he accepts. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 17:37, 11 September 2015 (UTC)
I'm glad you have started reviewing the article yourself. Thanxx :) Yashthepunisher (talk) 17:08, 12 September 2015 (UTC)

Yash, there are few users at Wiki whom i respect immensely and Dr. Blofeld is one of them. Considering his current hectic schedules, i have begun the review. Of course Doctor shall revisit it again, once FrB.TG resolves em' all. I want to make sure that i gave justice to the nomination as a reviewer. He may say just a "yes" or "no" or can list additional comments if any. Let's see how my first GA Review turns out to be. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 17:14, 12 September 2015 (UTC)

Good luck then :) Yashthepunisher (talk) 17:43, 12 September 2015 (UTC)

 — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 13:19, 25 September 2015 (UTC)

This page has been created by User:Satya durga reddy, mirroring Wikipedia:WikiProject Film/Indian cinema/Tamil cinema task force. Would you mind your name being added there? However, both task forces are incomplete in content, and have not attracted any attention from other editors/admins for expansion at all. Kailash29792 (talk) 07:30, 4 October 2015 (UTC)

@Kailash29792: Isn't Indian cinema task force enough? I find this and the Tamil task force an utter waste of time. Sorry if i'm being harsh enough. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 07:46, 4 October 2015 (UTC)
India is becoming more like a continent now than a country, and I believe each region of India has its own identity. So to accordingly categorise Tamil and Telugu films and help distinguish them from Hindi films, these task forces were created. Kailash29792 (talk) 07:51, 4 October 2015 (UTC)
@Kailash29792: This explanation isn't satisfying enough to determine the validity of their existence. Anyways i'm not interested in joining it. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 07:58, 4 October 2015 (UTC)

A question!

Don't take this in a bad way, but how can you take the million award for Jacqueline Fernandez's GA? You just reviewed it. Yashthepunisher (talk) 12:05, 5 October 2015 (UTC)

You are right Yash. But don't you think refusing to accept well intentioned Wikilove would be sending wrong signals to the one who awarded (Cirt)? Don't forget that i told Cirt to award the same to FrB.TG as he is the main contributor and i am just a reviewer. Anyways, i shall discuss the same with Cirt soon and decide whether i should keep it on the user page or discard it. Thanks for the head up. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 13:50, 5 October 2015 (UTC)
Users are free to reject awards. Kailash29792 (talk) 14:35, 5 October 2015 (UTC)
I don't think it's such of a big deal. You have accepted it, and in fact it's good that you haven't dejected Cirt. I would do the same if I were you. -- Frankie talk 14:49, 5 October 2015 (UTC)
Still, Cirt's opinion is final. What say mate? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:09, 5 October 2015 (UTC)
It's not a big deal. Thanks for contributing to reviewing of quality improvement pages on Wikipedia, — Cirt (talk) 16:21, 5 October 2015 (UTC)
Thanks Cirt. Thus Yash, this "discussion" ends and i've decided to "keep" it. And i hope to win a similar award, as a contributor this time! Pavanjandhyala (talk) 16:44, 5 October 2015 (UTC)

For that you'll have to thank Mahesh Babu! :) -- Frankie talk 19:52, 5 October 2015 (UTC)

@FrB.TG: Plans to bring Mahesh to GA status have been indefinitely postponed due to lack of stability. Something else, next time! Pavanjandhyala (talk) 01:37, 6 October 2015 (UTC)
Ugh! Which is why biographies are so difficult to make GA and almost impossible for FA. -- Frankie talk 14:51, 6 October 2015 (UTC)

Hello Pavan, why are Wiki editors showing double standards and removing any content related to this controversy? It has been documented by mainstream media. Bruce Lee The Fighter

You just changed the gross price of the movie i provided a reliable source so please check for it and I thank you for yesterday's information about millions and crores.

Thanking You,KKSartyu

@KKSartyu: You're welcome. The source you provided is surely reliable, no doubt. But can you open it? How can anyone use a link as reference which actually never existed? Try to open it and it shows a 404 message. That's why i changed the gross "info", not price. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 13:27, 20 October 2015 (UTC)

Yes But Just search Bruce lee the fighter movie and then after the wikipedia page comes a webpage of the url. http://www.ibtimes.co.in/bruce-lee-fighter-bltf-1st-weekend-box-office-collection-charrys-film-grosses-rs-28-crore-651092

FLC

Would you please take a look at my FLC. Thanks.Krish | Talk 15:55, 25 October 2015 (UTC)

@Krish!: Will be there soon. Give me some time. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 16:06, 25 October 2015 (UTC)
Damm! The world premiere of Baahubali just concluded and felt so fresh. To my surprise, there were additional footage of all the characters from part 2, which weren't in the theatrical cut. Did they also saw it on Maa Tv?Krish | Talk 18:10, 25 October 2015 (UTC)
Telugu audience saw that footage in theatres from Day 2 itself. Did you listen to the BGM of the closing credits? It was just epic! Pavanjandhyala (talk) 01:33, 26 October 2015 (UTC)
Then why it was cut from the Hindi version? Coming to your question, yes I did, haunting and brilliantly composed. Outstanding is the right word for it. The final scene, the BGM and then end credits (and now the added footage) was a whole new experience. Guess what my dream come true. After watching the film, I wished Rajamouli could follow Peter Jackson's path of The Hobbit. And its confirmed, there will be another or maybe few more films. Though the film will conclude in 2015, Rajamouli will be expanding the Baahubali universe. I'm glad he won't stretch the film to a third. But I won't mind if there will be dragons in it Haha....The third Hobbit film was a letdown compared to the second. But in this case I won't mind if they can come up with some dragons. What do you think?Krish | Talk 05:22, 26 October 2015 (UTC)
@Krish!: It wasn't removed from the Hindi version, it was added to the Telugu version. That's all. Prabhas and Rana's sagas would be concluded in the second part and any other actor would play the lead in part 3 as Rajamouli specifies that he would not drag the second part for a sequel's sake. Since there is no timeline specified in the story, it is feasible to create anything within the limitations. But for the third part, the music director M. M. Keeravani may not be signed as he is retiring on 30 September 2016. BTW the conclusion would arrive in 2016. For now, i am just eager to know why Kattappa "stabbed" Baahubali (writer confirmed that he isn't the murderer in an interview). Pavanjandhyala (talk) 08:17, 26 October 2015 (UTC)
I wish he could use dragons in the second part. Do you watch Game of Thrones?Krish | Talk 08:41, 26 October 2015 (UTC)

Believe it or not, i'm not a film buff. Out of every ten random Telugu films (irrespective of every difference), i watch two. I love one and of those i loved, majority of them became my GAs. Ditto for other Indian and International films. Moreover, now i don't have any interest in recent film releases because of my current personal crisis (i'm yet to recuperate from the grief of a recent death). So, don't expect me to watch television series and serials. Anyways, i will soon visit the FLC and do what i can. And about films, well, i will refer four lists in the future (probably December/January) and choose a few to watch. Your's is probably one of them. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 08:50, 26 October 2015 (UTC)

Bengal Tiger

  • Bro, earlier u updated about the posters in the marketing section of Ravi Teja's Bengal Tiger giving a reference of idlebrain. Today I did the same about the stills, is this a wrong update in marketing section ?! Fygu (talk) 02:41, 2 November 2015 (UTC)
@Fygu: Those were the first look stills of the characters. So i can update. These cannot be considered because the film' team may release 'n' number of promotional stills after that, which are considered not noteworthy from an encyclopedia point of view. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 03:00, 2 November 2015 (UTC)
Also, read WP:FILMMARKETING. Kailash29792 (talk) 03:11, 2 November 2015 (UTC)
  • thanks for the reply bro :) Fygu (talk) 04:26, 2 November 2015 (UTC)
  • Bro, thanks for the recent reverts, but i could not get the actual point u were saying, i uploaded a poster in music section as it also contains music label, so I thought it would be as an update to the readers! is it wrong ? Fygu (talk) 03:43, 8 November 2015 (UTC)
@Fygu: See, every poster that has a label cannot qualify an audio recording cover. What if the theatrical release posters contain the music label? You can find audio recording covers only either by scanning the CD cover directly or by using covers available at digital download websites (iTunes, Saavn, MusicIndiaOnline and Gaana for example). If you don't follow this rule, you are violating the rationale you provided and thereby giving a chance for others to delete the file. Wikipedia takes Copyright and file rationale violations very seriously. Take care. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 04:02, 8 November 2015 (UTC)
    • yup, got it bro, thanks for the suggestions :) and the file I uploaded earlier is in the appropriate size only I think ?? but u hinted to reduce that size too ?
i did it as per WP:NFCC (400px+ does not satisfy the criteria). Pavanjandhyala (talk) 04:27, 8 November 2015 (UTC)

I wish you all the best for the article's FAC. If it does not attract enough reviewers, don't hesitate to ask. Kailash29792 (talk) 08:04, 9 November 2015 (UTC)

Sure Kailash! BTW, you are one of the co-nominators along with Ssven2. As the latter says, Pavanjandhyala is the "main man" behind the FAC! Pavanjandhyala (talk) 08:07, 9 November 2015 (UTC)

Don't worry Ssven2! Mayabazar is going to get something special soon. Till then, don't request anyone to visit it. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 08:40, 9 November 2015 (UTC)

Did you read the bold content of that page? Do not merely identify and describe the content of customary marketing methods such as trailers, TV spots, radio ads, and posters. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 13:09, 9 November 2015 (UTC)

@TheRedPenOfDoom: Then what should i mention? Is a teaser that has become viral (for example) eligible for inclusion? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 13:10, 9 November 2015 (UTC)
It might be, but just about every promotion "goes viral". And "fake viral" is easy to generate. It has to stand out as something truly unique and covered as such by the sources. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 13:15, 9 November 2015 (UTC)
@TheRedPenOfDoom: If that is the case, give me a fine example in the case of Indian articles. That would be really helpful. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 13:16, 9 November 2015 (UTC)
I dont know that a good example exists. The Indian entertainment coverage is pretty lame in the actual analysis department. but as WP:TRAILER states, you want to look for "target demographics, test screenings, release dates, scale of release (limited vs. wide), merchandising, marketing controversies, and contending for awards." The Jai Ho (film) contest of composing the poster from fan submitted art would be something . -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 13:21, 9 November 2015 (UTC)
@TheRedPenOfDoom: Thanks! Pavanjandhyala (talk) 13:24, 9 November 2015 (UTC)
    • Bro I made some edits regarding Home media of this film...so is this can be added to this page ? because i saw that all ur edits were reverted in the marketing section, so asking u :) pls check :) Fygu (talk) 02:44, 10 November 2015 (UTC)
@Fygu: If it is regarding the satellite rights, then yes. It is eligible to be added. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 03:27, 10 November 2015 (UTC)

Wishes

    • Bro, Happy DIWALI :) Fygu (talk) 12:54, 10 November 2015 (UTC)

Something useful. Kailash29792 (talk) 13:09, 15 November 2015 (UTC)

Thanks Kailash! But, ref. no. 27 and 28 cover the same thing with much finesse and detail. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:15, 15 November 2015 (UTC)
It's ok. But can you source the footnotes about laddoos, Pandavas and Kauravas? Once I set a rule that an article should be FAC worthy if it has at least 100 sources (which I have since reduced to 70, and violated once for Kalidas). And Mayabazar currently has 67 sources. Kailash29792 (talk) 15:42, 15 November 2015 (UTC)
Surely will, soon. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:46, 15 November 2015 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

The Original Barnstar
Amazing how you managed to get Pelli Chesi Choodu, an article having fewer refs than Kalidas to GA (it had 30-something refs during its GAR). This should convince me and Ssven that Keechaka Vadham can achieve the same. Kailash29792 (talk) 16:10, 27 November 2015 (UTC)
@Kailash29792: I remember Ssven2 saying that he wants to take Keechaka Vadham further on the lines of Si Ronda and Gagak Item. I promised him to review the FAC. Now almost after a month, i am hearing now from you that it is a possible GAN. Whatever it is, i wish you both all the best. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 16:15, 27 November 2015 (UTC)
BTW, why isn't Kalyanam Panni Paar's soundtrack there on its Wiki article? I acknowledge I was not able to find it online, but a DVD menu of the film would certainly list its songs (that's how I solved the dilemma in Chandralekha). Kailash29792 (talk) 16:24, 27 November 2015 (UTC)
@Kailash29792: Kalyanam Panni Paar is not available at the moment. I really searched for it and failed. IMHO, Pelli Chesi Choodu is one of the most underrated cult films and it was one of those films likened by the one whom i lost to god this September. I consider it a tribute to that person who is very much close to my heart. Coming back, for now the Tamil tracklist is in my sandbox. When i find a reliable source (like DVD, music websites, others), i shall add it. It will just be removed when the feasibility is almost NIL. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 16:30, 27 November 2015 (UTC)

Srimanthudu

I have pretty much finished the copy-edit you requested for Srimanthudu. I have just a few questions for you:

1) In the first paragraph of the section Srimanthudu#Critical reception is the following sentence:

  • Sify called Srimanthudu a "right mix of Mahesh's emotional and class performance, Shruthi's charisma, fine storyline and all materials that are needed for a good entertainer".

I'm wondering whether "class performance" should be "classy performance". Since it was a quote, I decided not to change it without asking you.

2) Later in that same paragraph is the following sentence, which is the last sentence in a quote:

  • Yet there can be no denying that Srimanthudu achieves more than any big ticket Tollywood potboiler has in more in that last decade, for the simple reason that it is a drama made like one.

There is something not quite clear right after "big ticket Tollywood". It is this part:

  • has in more in that last decade.

Are you sure this is copied correctly from the source? Can you check? Do you see how it doesn't sound right? Perhaps it should be:

  • Srimanthudu achieves more than any big ticket Tollywood potboiler has in more than the last decade.

3) Early in the article, I changed several instances of "screen" or "screens" to "theatre" or "theatres". Then, later in the article, in the section describing box office receipts, that is, box office gross and net sales of tickets, I again saw "screen" or "screens" used. I was about to change those, too, but then I thought I had better check with you first. Which term do you prefer? Corinne (talk) 00:46, 29 November 2015 (UTC)

@Corinne: Thanks for the elaborate c/e. For the first one, i too felt the same but i kept it unchanged adhering to WP:QUOTE. I agree with you on the second, but again WP:QUOTE comes in the way. For the third one, i would prefer screens. Considering the article's length, i could have made a few mistakes for sure. But i am really amazed with your speed. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 01:01, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
Thanks. O.K. We'll leave those two quotes as they are. I think readers can guess that "class performance" means "classy performance", but on the second one, it is so unclear I'm wondering whether we shouldn't add "sic" (a Latin abbreviation that means that that is the way it was in the original) in single square brackets, like this: [sic], after that unclear phrase.
I did add one comma in a quote from a reviewer a little later than those other ones, in the collection of positive reviews. It was a short quote where the reviewer was describing Mahesh Babu as cool and mellow. Do you know which one I mean? You can find it in the edits I made, if you look in the revision history. It was three two-word phrases in a row, and it looked odd without the comma. If you think it should reflect the source exactly, it can be removed (but I've been told by other editors that minor edits like punctuation can be made to a quote).
Regarding "screen" vs. "theatre", do you want me to go back and change all of the ones I had changed? They're all in the first half of the article. Or can you do it? Corinne (talk) 01:14, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
@Corinne: Can you please add that [sic] there, i'm okay with the second one. I have done the third adjustment myself. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 01:34, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
Regarding "sic", I noticed that someone added it. I haven't yet looked at who added it, but I did some research just now since I didn't think the word had to be in italics. If you'll read the first paragraph in the section Sic#Formatting and the examples in the section just above it, you'll see that it does not need to be italicized, at least in British, Australian, New Zealand usage, and presumably also Indian English usage. Corinne (talk) 18:42, 29 November 2015 (UTC)

Mahesh is considered one of the most popular actors in Telugu cinema, and his popularity has been documented in several Telugu films. Apart from his film career, Mahesh has also been the brand ambassador for various companies in South India. Your edit was just the reversion to the old, ill-sourced fancruft. How come you call it a valid edit if you remove the reliably sourced controversy section? It could have been a GA by now if editors like you couldn't have made disruptive edits exactly like this and make it unstable. Bhale Bhale Magadivoy

I've finished copy-editing Bhale Bhale Magadivoy. I wanted to discuss with you just one thing. It's something similar to one thing we discussed with the other film. In the section Bhale Bhale Magadivoy#Critical reception, two of the quotes from reviewers are ungrammatical. It just seems that words are missing. I'm wondering if it would make sense to add the missing words in single square brackets, or add "[sic]" (no italics needed), as in the other film article. Here are the two sentences. I am going to put in bold what is missing.

1) Sangeetha Devi Dundoo of The Hindu called the film a "laugh riot" and stated that Bhale Bhale Magadivoy "puts logic aside but there's plenty of situational humour where you'll find yourself laughing aloud and having a good time. And these laughs are with [rather] than at the protagonist".

2) Pranita Jonnalagedda of The Times of India gave the film 3.5 out of 5 stars and stated that Bhale Bhale Magadivoy comes across as a "breath of fresh air" because it "successfully keeps itself away from the regular formula of romantic comedies [and is] devoid of the oh-so-overused cliches" and is a "delight for anyone looking for wholesome entertainment".

On this second one, the first part of the sentence (just after "because") doesn't make sense without "and is".

3) Suresh Kavirayani of the Deccan Chronicle also gave the film 3.5 out of 5 stars and stated that the film can be watched for "some hilarious scenes and Nani's brilliance performance".

This last sentence is grammatically incorrect, with two nouns in a row: "brilliance" and "performance". As I'm sure you know, it should be adjective + noun: "brilliant performance". If this really is the way it was in the Deccan Chronicle, I think "[sic]" should be added either right after "brilliance" or after "performance".

4) Early in the article, I removed "album" after "soundtrack": ...composed the soundtrack. In the U.S., that's what I usually hear. The album is what is later sold as a CD, etc. But I left in the word "album" where it appeared later in the article. If you prefer that even the early sentence read, "composed the soundtrack album", then by all means put "album" back in.

5) Regarding the plot section, you'll see that I re-worded quite a bit of it. I suggest that you read it carefully to be sure I did not introduce anything that is incorrect regarding the story. You'll also see that I added a few "clarification needed" tags with notes to the editor (I guess that's you). After you clarify what needs to be clarified (or even if you're satisfied with the way it is now), you can remove the tags and notes.

Let me know if you need help with anything else in the article. Corinne (talk) 23:43, 29 November 2015 (UTC)

@Corinne: Thanks Corinne, that was really quick. I've tried to resolve all the comments in the Plot section. I agree with your points related to the Soundtrack and Critical reception. I've added [rather], [and is] and [sic] at the places you suggested me to do so. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 01:12, 30 November 2015 (UTC)
O.K. Good. Remember, "sic" doesn't need to be italicized. Just write [sic] (no template). Corinne (talk) 02:01, 30 November 2015 (UTC)
@Corinne: Sure. Shall remember it in the future! Pavanjandhyala (talk) 10:25, 30 November 2015 (UTC)

Kailash - Mayabazar

Mayabazar is a Tamil Telugu bilingual film, that is the reason may be he would have accepted your Mayabazar GA nomination, because of Tamil lead actors, in the Tamil version of Mayabazar, may be he is your friend, and sweet talker, that doesnt make him a good editor, user Kailash is completely into conflict of interest, he has vested interests on Telugu articles. Who ever goes against his edits, on any article, he will immediately tag them as sock puppets of Padmalakshmisx, like that he has booked 3-4 editors who are not sock puppets of wikipedia. You reject his point of view, or be rude in your response to him, then there are chances, he will even tag you as sock puppet of wikipedia. I too dont car a damn just because your last name is jandhyala, but I give respect to fellow editor's dont make this mistake again of taking every wikipedia issue to his attention, and put his interference, if you are capable enough you would sorted Mahesh babu issue amicably with me, but since you are under blind influence of user Kailash, you are taking every wikipedia encounter or hassle you face to user Kailash's attention. This type of behavior is also a kind of sock puppetry by user Kailash. Pravbv (talk) 14:22, 30 November 2015 (UTC)

@Pravbv: I can find depression, hatred and pain in your message. I can also see that you have decided Kailash, not the Checkuser system and administrators as the ones behind the blocks. Do you think blocks as per WP:SPI, which reacts on the misuse of the freedom for a user given by Wikipedia, are just baseless? When two people sort out issues amicably, thumb rule is that both are ready to understand the situation and co-operate. With all due respect to you, i can see that you are only arguing and making allegations on a user which is a sort of violation of WP:NPA, which itself is a serious thing. I am patiently trying to answer and all i can see is only arguments, allegations, and edits with no matching edit summaries. For example, how come this edit can be considered constructive? Tell me. Let me make it very clear. I don't take sides and i respect everyone, irrespective of language, caste, region, religion and nationality also. I am clearly under no one's influence, including you. My talk page has an image of Brahmotsavam, which means divine celebration. What i am experiencing is my presence in a ghosts' town. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:13, 30 November 2015 (UTC)
  • Bro, I didnt get u !! Just i updated about the CBFC Certificate! is this wrong Fygu (talk) 02:29, 2 December 2015 (UTC)
@Fygu: To be simple, as per WP:FILMRATING, unless you know the specific reason why that certificate was given, CBFC/BBFC/other boards' certificates are not supposed to be included. For example, SVSC received a clean 'U' certificate. This will not be included. Sample this : Pokiri received 'A' certificate because of "containing obscene sequences and excessive violence". Another good example is Kumari 21F. I hope you understand now. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 08:10, 2 December 2015 (UTC)
  • ok bro, :) if u find any reliable source please update it :) I am also finding d same Fygu (talk) 12:27, 2 December 2015 (UTC)

Dhananjayan and his credibility

I can't believe you conceded to one editor's opinion about the credibility of a single writer (G. Dhananjayan in this case). Me and him did agree that the some of the content in Danny's books appear to be lifted from Wikipedia, but that does not apply entirely for the books. In fact, the particular Mayabazar chapter is absolutely not plagiarised from us. Even if sources have similar content to ours, we can rewrite our articles to save those sources' reputation. I once said, and still say, you cannot consider a source unreliable until it is officially proven to be so, or until its author confesses. It's like arresting a criminal without his confession/solid proof that he is guilty, though he may actually be. Though Pride of Tamil Cinema contains considerable inaccuracies and plagiarism from us (and strangely won a National Award), The Best of Tamil Cinema is nowhere near that level. Neither of the books confess to copying from Wikipedia. James Tod can be considered a non-reliable source because critics have criticised his works for containing significant inaccuracies, though they have not done the same for Danny. In fact, Danny is now similar to Saurabh Shukla and Arvind Swamy's characters in PK and Thani Oruvan respectively. Kailash29792 (talk) 11:10, 3 December 2015 (UTC)

@Kailash29792: I haven't watched Thani Oruvan yet. Coming to PK, i've watched it in parts. But i surely understand what you intend to say. Let me make it clear about this. An arrested criminal is prosecuted only after he is proven to be guilty. If not, he shall be released. In the same way, if Dhananyan's book's credibility and reliability are proved, i shall add back the content. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 11:29, 3 December 2015 (UTC)
Bingo Pavan! It's a pity that some of our 'so-called experienced' users are clearly unaware of WP:V, our core policy. The book is clearly a 'circular reference' – if a source borrows text from WP without attribution, it's a genuine copyright violation. I can prove the non-reliability by starting a discussion here. Since a large number of Tamil film articles are heavily dependent on the book, I've not done that till now. Vensatry (Talk) 06:25, 4 December 2015 (UTC)
Vensatry, start the discussion if you want to. Just let me know that those thousands of rupees I spent for buying both of Danny's books are not a waste. But if there are any chapter in the books that contain authentic info and are not plagiarised from us (The Karnan chapter in Pride is an exception), can they be used here? Or does the entire book fail WP:RS if less than 60% of it is inaccurate/plagiarised? It just pains me to know that one man who I idolised so much, has become much like this man in The CW's The Flash. Meanwhile, Pavan: now that the Mayabazar article has been substantially reduced as a result of you removing Danny's book, why not try merging the soundtrack article into the main article to expand it? Especially the fact that "Vivaha Bhojanambu" is not entirely an original song? Kailash29792 (talk) 08:24, 4 December 2015 (UTC)
Will do it soon. And Vensatry, i need your help here. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 09:22, 4 December 2015 (UTC)
Kailash29792, I have clearly explained why I haven't started the discussion yet. You should understand that I'm trying to act in good faith. My concern is FAs shouldn't use such problematic sources. And this is not just my opinion. Please stop saying the same thing by quoting off-topic scenarios. Vensatry (Talk) 10:26, 4 December 2015 (UTC)

  • Bro, once open this films Bengal Tiger (2015 film) page. U uploaded a recent poster but it seems to look very blurred and the faces of actors r also not looking proper !! So can I revert this change ? I think makers will release posters that r included with a release date for sure. So pls lets wait till a good poster comes out :) Fygu (talk) 12:29, 5 December 2015 (UTC)
@Fygu: I've done it. When the release posters come out, make sure you contact me before you update it. Of course i am not going to dictate your choices but, i want an apt one for this film which falls under the Masala film category rather than an action film. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 12:34, 5 December 2015 (UTC)

I don't think so. All the RS are giving away rumours when it comes to this. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 02:39, 9 December 2015 (UTC)
  • Hi bro, I got a poster which inlcludes RAVI TEJA with both heroines , so can i update that one ?? Fygu (talk) 07:09, 9 December 2015 (UTC)
It would be fine to use a pre-release poster which is common, and shows the film's theme. Kailash29792 (talk) 07:18, 9 December 2015 (UTC)
Fygu, is it this? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 08:40, 9 December 2015 (UTC)
    • Exactly !! this is the poster bro :) bit i have a better quality image, shull i upload ? Fygu (talk) 08:53, 9 December 2015 (UTC)
@Fygu: Sorry, but no. The director says, "Bengal Tiger is is about an intelligent play between protagonist (Ravi Teja) and antagonist (Boman Irani). It’s a conflict between two intelligent people". So ideally, a poster featuring Ravi Teja and Boman Irani should be there. Or else, a poster featuring the hero should be there. Accepted that the poster with the heroines was good. But this one is very much intriguing and different. So, if you are particular about including the female lead, do one thing. Watch the film and decide which female lead has more importance and choose the poster which features her. If (like always) the director makes it unclear, stick to the current one. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 09:06, 9 December 2015 (UTC)
  • ok bro, after few weeks I will update a better poster :) Fygu (talk) 09:18, 9 December 2015 (UTC)
There is another problem Fygu! For films released after 2000 (i.e. whose posters are available aplenty), you have only two choices—Pre-release posters or posters without any release date info. Even in them, the first is very much appreciated. So, try to be very careful. And, let me know before you take any step. Last but not the least, you must respect the film's theme while choosing the poster. For example, i cant use this as an effective poster for Yevadu just because the female lead is present. Frankly, Yevadu is an action film. I have such liberty with Naayak, another Telugu masala film. Hope it helps. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 09:28, 9 December 2015 (UTC)
  • ok bro :) Fygu (talk) 09:39, 9 December 2015 (UTC)

Kailash29792, can i have your email id? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 16:14, 11 December 2015 (UTC)
kailash29792@yahoo.com. But I have the "email this user" option enabled. Kailash29792 (talk) 16:47, 11 December 2015 (UTC)

It's Wikipedia article reads, "Masala films of Indian cinema are those that mix genres in one work. Typically these films freely mix action, comedy, romance, and drama or melodrama. They tend to be musicals that include songs filmed in picturesque locations." Is that what you mean to describe Bengal Tiger as? Kailash29792 (talk) 14:30, 13 December 2015 (UTC)

Kailash, I know most of the Indian films follow the same format. Yet we can classify them as action film, romance film, comedy film, drama film, etc. based on the dominating genre. Coming to Bengal Tiger, it is neither a complete action film nor a drama nor a comedy. If you can read the plot, you can see a lot of political mind games too. So, i've classified it as such. It would be unreasonable if i ask you to watch the film. But, just read the plot carefully and watch the theatrical trailer 1 and 2. Still if you think this doesn't meet the criteria, you are welcome to change it. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 17:00, 13 December 2015 (UTC)

Thank you Mr. Jones! That was very endearing. Wish you the same. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 05:32, 27 December 2015 (UTC)

Something useful. I also think the film's genre may qualify as historical romance (source: this book, page 221). Kailash29792 (talk) 13:29, 29 December 2015 (UTC)

@Kailash29792:  Done Thanks for the help. What do you think of it? Does it look good enough for a GA? (GOCE is yet to commence the c/e, so i cannot guarantee a quality prose). Pavanjandhyala (talk) 14:20, 29 December 2015 (UTC)
Though the sources are few, it looks GA-worthy as it is comprehensive; in fact, it appears more detailed than most Dutch East Indies GAs and FAs. Kailash29792 (talk) 14:25, 29 December 2015 (UTC)
@Kailash29792: Missamma is the most satisfying work of mine when it comes to black and white Telugu film articles. I expected Malliswari to surpass it, but i failed to let it do so due to lack of sources. Anyways, from zero chance to 21 citations and 32K+ bytes size. This too is good. Call it an exaggeration, but it is a magnum opus not just to Narasimha Reddy and Rajeswara Rao, but also for me here as a Wikipedian. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 16:40, 29 December 2015 (UTC)
There will always be more Telugu sources than English ones, and book sources definitely. But due to my office timings, I get little to no time to visit libraries. Kailash29792 (talk) 08:11, 30 December 2015 (UTC)
I accept that. Given Malliswari is a common name for women, esp. in Telugu, my search was almost a failure. And the ones i found were complete waste with due respect to the authors. Coming to libraries, as i said before, the British Library and the Central library of Hyderabad don't have many books on films with good detail. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 08:23, 30 December 2015 (UTC)
