June 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Mako001. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Canada–Israel relations, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. There were other issues as well, see the edit summary I left. Mako001 (C)  (T)  🇺🇦 13:36, 11 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I provided sources for half of the changes on such as the assassination of Bull, which is directly related to international relations fyi. Especially if you look at the other stuff on the page. Bull was a Canadian citizen, therefore it is related to diplomacy, just like how the use of passports by Israeli agents when attempting to assassinate Mashal is. Also, the article appears to have a partisan slant in favour of Israel, rather than being impartial. UApirate33 (talk) 13:52, 11 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Militant vs terrorist[edit]

Hi @UApirate33, you are now engaged in three edit wars with me on the topic of using "militant" vs "terrorist". Please stop edit warring, as the issue should be discussed on a talk page instead. Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 14:36, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Terrorist is a partisan word for an encyclopedia. As I have explained, there are far more high profile figures in the world of violence that are referred to by this website as militants. UApirate33 (talk) 14:38, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You support terrorism. 2603:7000:CF0:9E10:B0FF:D583:403B:C59C (talk) 18:50, 2 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Talk:Mohammed Safady. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Aaron Liu (talk) 01:58, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Revirvlkodlaku was also making remarks about me too. Will he be condemned? UApirate33 (talk) 18:53, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Your remarks were far worse and worse enough to count as personal attacks. Aaron Liu (talk) 19:46, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction to contentious topics[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

  • adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
  • comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
  • follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
  • comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
  • refrain from gaming the system.

Additionally you must be logged-in, have 500 edits and an account age of 30 days and are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on a page within this topic.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.
