You accidentally reverted a heavily-vandalized page from a long attack page to a short attack page. I removed the attack and replaced the page with a request for it to be deleted (db-attack) since there has never been anything on that page other than a personal attack on Warren Nilmas. Cheerio! Hi, can you clear up what happened here[1]? Thanks! Brilliant Pebble (talk) 05:55, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

I mean, was it intentional? If so, what was your reason? Brilliant Pebble (talk) 05:58, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

my revert on your user page

About your message on User talk:Cyfal#Your edit to TylerPuetz: Sorry if I mis-identified this edit as vandalism. I thought it was vandalism firstly because it was not done by the User:TylerPuetz account but an IP address, and secondly because this IP's contributions looked somewhat strange, see, e.g., this one or this one. --Cyfal (talk) 20:21, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

odd speedy tag

If I read the page history right, right after deleting obvious vandalism to the article, you seem to have placed an A7 speedy delete for no assertion of importance tag on Ruhallah Khomeini using Huggle, and then replaced it again. I can not believe you meant it in earnest, and I removed the tag. I called is disruptive in the edit summary, because that was th effect of an apparent mistake in using Huggle. I don't mean personally disruptive.

You say you;ve been here two years, but I can't find a user history for you back before April 08. And when were you granted rollback rights, and by whom? I see no entry in the log. If this is for some reason sensitive, please email.DGG (talk) 23:38, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
Replied on your talk page. - Tyler Puetz (talk) 23:53, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
Yes, I saw your earlier user name. But it shows no contributions. [2]. The ones back to Nov 3, 2007 were transferred when the name was changed on July 9, 2008 [3], and the earliest entry in the user contributions is Nov 3, 2007. 10 months ago [4]. In the log I also see an edit by RyanLupin removing your assertion that you had rollback rights. [5] I could not find an entry under either name in the user rights log. And, what is more, I see the time you have spent at WP is copied exactly from RyanLupin's user page--this may have just been a mistake in using the tag, so I am going to consult with the bureaucrat who changed the name for you.
As for the tag, you said "That article confused me much, and I first undid the odd comment added by a user, and when it was readded by that user, I decided to let the article be reviewed by a higher authority than I. does that clear things up?" My answer, is that it does not. You are using Huggle carelessly. I think the reason you became confused is likely to be that you did not even look at the article. Go look at it now, and see who it is about. However, if you had looked at it and realized who it was about, you must have known the A7 tag did not apply--if you had any doubt about that, then you do not in the least understand the speedy deletion criteria. (conceivably the entire article might have been vandalism or a wrong name, but it could not possibly have been A7, no indication of notability!) In any case, I think you should go very much more carefully if you wish to continue using Huggle. DGG (talk) 00:35, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
(OK about the user stuff.--and see my talk p. for the rest. DGG (talk) 03:12, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

Account Creator Usergroup

I would like to request the usergroup of Account Creator, as I am registered on the toolserver as one, and in doing so, would appreciate the ability to fullfill more than 6+ account requests a day. Would you mind fulfilling my request? - Tyler Puetz (talk) 22:43, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

You've only created 6 accounts since starting using the account creator and the throttle hasn't affected you yet. If you actually hit the limit on any day, please place a message at WP:RPE and an admin will add the flag to your account. Stifle (talk) 09:23, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

Sarah Jessica Parker/ Maxim Awards

It isn't destructive. It is a fact- she won that award as voted by millions of people. Why would this not be shown on her page? Isn't this an encyclopedic website? Truth should not be covered to protect feelings. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nokternus420 (talkcontribs) 08:14, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

Heheh No problem Tyler- just wanted it to be encyclopedic- alot of her fans have been trying to prevent the truth for some reason. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nokternus420 (talkcontribs) 08:20, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

The People's Party (band)

this band was deleted for being unimportant or not meeting criteria. the criteria of third party sources has been met. also, the band is important for two reasons- one, it has created a new genre of music, which is noteworthy, and two, it has a novel way of disseminating its music, via a moblie truck that it shows up anywhere with. i believe this is noteworthy enough for wikipedia. thank you —Preceding unsigned comment added by Romwell iv (talkcontribs) 08:40, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

Speedy Deletion of my page "Pisoga"

Ok .. now to clarrify.. on the "creat an article page" it clearly specifies that if it isnt what you would find in an encylcopedia then it would be deleted. Obviously what i posted as the "Pisoga" page was not at all obvious promotion of the website. It is something you would find in an encylopedia.. making the public aware of what "Pisoga" is. I will make another one then .. maybe a one liner ? "It is a website that bases their content around anime videos for the anime community." —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sakurissa (talkcontribs) 11:41, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

We, The Undersigned (2007)

I note you {{db-a7}} tagged We, The Undersigned (2007). A7 is only for companies, bands and biographies and explicitly not for books, albums, software etc. (It even says so on the template itself) – please use {{prod}} or AFD for these articles. Thanks! – iridescent 00:25, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Striking earlier IP warnings

Hello TylerPuetz. It has been a while since I've come across you, but it looks like you've improved immensely on your anti-vandalism work. Nice job! I know that this[8] is yours, so would you like it if I striked out the earlier two warnings? The last four were in regards to another person I bet ...must be a shared IP, but in any matter, the first two could be striked without any dispute. Also, feel free to let me know if you need anything. ~ Troy (talk) 02:44, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Vandalism

Please stop logging out to vandalize. I know you're doing it. Next time, I block your main account (this one) for vandalism, mm-kay? - Alison 08:18, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

I echo the above. I have started an ANI thread becuase your behaviour and abuse of rollback, Also note that all bots must be approved and that running an unapproved bot is grounds for a block.   «l| Ψrometheăn ™|l»  (talk) 08:50, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

Im withholding this just for now, If you have indeed used the IP that checkuser confirmed it may have more implications than first thought. Just stay cool, the answers are coming   «l| Ψrometheăn ™|l»  (talk) 14:36, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

Also, I don't know the IP's in question, my IP address changes semi frequently because of my ISP, but also, I use my school computer to edit, as I'm doing as of now. Thank you for giving me an update on the status. --TylerPuetz (talk/contribs) 17:38, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for undoing the vandalism to the Erie–Torresdale (SEPTA station) article Perhaps you aren't aware that this user has made the same disruptive edits under the anonymous IP's 71.175.245.170 and 71.175.246.147. Millbrae Crescent

I have just been informed that an article I created on Millbrae Crescent, designed by the Greek Revivalist architect, Alexander Thomson, has been flagged for speedy deletion. I think you have been rather over zealous in your application of this rule and have clearly undertaken insufficient research on the topic at hand before flagging it for deletion. Guidance on speedy deletion indicates that, "Users nominating a page for speedy deletion should specify which criteria the page meets". You have not done this. Instead you have cited general criteria, none of which apply in this case. I would curious to learn which criteria you feel this article violates?--GeorgeRob (talk) 23:51, 4 November 2008 (UTC)

--Tyler | Talk - Contributions | 00:02, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

Having just consulted the guidelines, article length does not constitute criteria for deletion unless it comprises simply external links, adverts, etc.! Why was it flagged?
I have nevertheless added further references to this article, including details of the building's category A listed nature. However, Millbrae Crescent is patently notable since it is an example of Thomson's work - and Thomson is a notable architect. It is now up to other authors to augment the article accordingly, and in true Wikipedia style. I trust this is sufficient evidence for removal of the speedy deletion notice?--GeorgeRob (talk) 00:41, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

Re: contested page you deleted

The page I wrote was deleted despite the fact that I entered the hangon tag. As a matter of fact, it was deleted before I could finish writing my reasons for contesting its deletion. Considering I spent days working on this article and am trying to follow Wikipedia's guidelines and instructions, I am a bit frustrated that a contested page would be deleted so quickly.

Those reasons are as follows:

This company is notable and worthy of a Wikipedia article because it is an important player in the computer software industry with customers all over the world. Also note that companies like SmarterTools also have Wikipedia entries. See Parallels, Inc. as an example. Similarly, individual products from companies like SmarterTools have their own Wikipedia entries. See Ipswitch IMail Server, MailEnable, and Parallels Workstation as examples.

As per Wikipedia's guidelines, I have written this article in a neutral point of view and encyclopedic tone. The article is not promotional or advertorial, just informational. In addition to referencing the company's own Web site, the article also references several external sites and sources, including Web Host Industry News, Reuters, and Forbes. I should also note that the company's Web site was used as a reference only when external source material was no longer available. Citing any available source, whether it is a primary or secondary, should be considered preferable to not referencing the information at all.

--Tyler | Talk - Contributions | 00:17, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

Actually, Tyler, the only reply on my talk page is the one telling me my page has been deleted. What I want to know is why my page was deleted when I added the hangon tag to indicate that I was contesting the speedy deletion. And why it was deleted within minutes! I couldn't even finish my justification for the article! It is obvious no one bothered to review my justifications for the article and that no one bothered to even read it. At this point I would like to request undeletion of the page so it can be given a fair review based on the reasons I've posted earlier in this discussion. Azsumrg1rl (talk) 00:22, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

Well, thank you for the clarification. I have contacted both editors. Azsumrg1rl (talk) 00:25, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
