Welcome![edit]

Hello, Tomacpace, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Ted Staunton, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

Can you provide a more detailed source for this image? Ideally, what the original photograph was, and where you found it. Thanks. Wikiacc () 01:38, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I thought I provided details in the upload form. The photo was taken at Sigmund Freud's Weimar Congress in 1911; for the specific publication date for copyright/public domain, I used the Library of Congress, it states it's 1911. Since there is not enough detail provided by me to trigger this question, could you recommend me where specifically in the photo meta data to add whatever is missing? I'm doing what I can to learn all the various technical rules. Tomacpace (talk) 01:53, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
On other uploads of copyright works, I have requested permission, but in this case the photo was so old so I referenced copyright laws and public domain age on very-old photos and the analysis for any/all photos, for most countries in the world (perhaps except Mexico) was stated to be 1923 and earlier for public domain. Perhaps specific numbers like this exist on Wikipedia, but I have specifically looked and not found. Tomacpace (talk) 02:01, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia:Media_copyright_questions/Archive/2015/July#120+_year_old_photograph echoes 1923 for public domain of old photographs; however I am temporarily editing the photo out of the page until this inquiry is satisfied. Tomacpace (talk) 02:33, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I have reviewed, found the information lacking substantial quality so now updated the Description, Source, and Author fields. Please review and advise. Tomacpace (talk) 03:01, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The additional detail looks good. The copyright question for the US is whether the photo was published before 1926. In this case it's likely that the photo was published around 1911 but it's hard to say for sure. Wikiacc () 01:57, 18 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on JordanPetersonVideos, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
