Thomas Rathnam[edit]

Articles about this person have been deleted many times - see this deletion log. There was a deletion discussion at WP:Articles for deletion/Thomas Rathnam where it was agreed that he did not meet Wikipedia's admission standard of notability, which requires showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." See also WP:MUSICBIO and WP:42.

After a deletion discussion like that, you must not simply put the article in again. That was done so many times that the title was salted - protected against creation. You cannot get around that by varying the name to Thomas rathnam or T.Thomas Stephen Rathinam or Isai Aruvi Thomas Rathnam.

If you think you can show that he meets the notability requirement, you should improve the draft article in your sandbox at User:Thomasrathnamfans/Thomas Rathnam as much as you can, and then approach user RHaworth (talk), the administrator who protected the title, for permission to post it. If he does not agree, you can appeal at WP:Deletion review. Before you start, read WP:Your first article and WP:MUSICBIO carefully. JohnCD (talk) 21:59, 28 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Thomas rathnam requesting that it be protected against recreation. This has been done because the article appears to be a recreation, under a different title, of an article which is itself currently protected against recreation. Please note that titles used to circumvent the protection policy are often given the same level of protection as the original title the author is trying to circumvent.

If you feel that the topic of the article meets our inclusion guidelines, please request a deletion review or use a request for unprotection instead.

Please note that repeated recreation of an article against a consensus to delete it is considered disruptive and is grounds for blocking. Cindy(talk to me) 08:16, 28 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
