License tagging for File:AlainBarrière-Elleétaitsijolie.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:AlainBarrière-Elleétaitsijolie.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 11:05, 10 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Cyriac Pullapilly[edit]

Hi, the reason why I used the broad Category:Historians at Cyriac Pullapilly is because we do not really know his nationality and his writings are across a broad swathe of subject matter. I think that assigning Category:American historians, as you have, may be a breach of WP:BLPCAT: although he is based in the US, he is of Indian origin, a former priest in an India-based Roman Catholic church, and a member of the Royal Society of Arts (which is a British institution for which his eligibility is almost certainly that he was born when India was the British Raj). I've no idea if he has taken US citizenship but "American historians" can only apply to him in terms of where he resides - is this really sufficient? - Sitush (talk) 14:12, 13 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Georgian Voices - Adila da Ali-phasha sample.ogg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Georgian Voices - Adila da Ali-phasha sample.ogg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:09, 22 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

aboriginal cat/article naming issues again[edit]

Please see User_talk:Good_Olfactory#Er.......5Bwhine.2C_whimper.5D where your name emerged as the creator of Category:Dakelh. Are you around much at all, Quill? I'd really rather be writing articles rather than having to deal with all this stuff...the RMs and most CfRs got resolve satisfactorily but one, the Category:Squamish is still pending, with the user who closed the other CfRs now proposing something we've never seen before which will just cause more problems and move the goalposts again; so far Kwami's unilateral speedy of Dakelh to Carrier people hasn't caused a CFDS to ;Category:Carrier people but unless we formalized guidlines or at least conventions in CANMOS or IPNA, it's a done deal, which is why the remaning Skwxwu7mesh/Squamish one is critical to resolve or it will set more bad precedents. Hope you're doing well...I'm gonna try and get some articles written before I either split from frustration or am uprooted for reasons of complex necessity....if you want to email me so we can chat out of public view, do so anytime. Regards from Koh Samui.....later.Skookum1 (talk) 16:16, 15 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Autopatrolled[edit]

Hi Themightyquill, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the autopatrolled right to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the patroller right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! Vejvančický (talk / contribs) 12:32, 20 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

... btw, I just noticed that you started the article on František Kriegel. He is a hero and example for all good people. Thank you. Today, I started the article about Gertruda Sekaninová-Čakrtová, his colleague from the National Assembly and one of the four rebellious deputies from 1968. A nice coincidence :) Please check if you are interested. --Vejvančický (talk / contribs) 14:16, 21 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

October 2013[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to List of Indian residential schools in Canada may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 05:35, 5 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Icon[edit]

Hello, Mighty. We has a discussion awhile ago on the talk page at NHSC, where you had talked about creating lists of Parks Canada sites. Whether you pursue such lists or not, one of the things we discussed was using a beaver icon on the various NHSC lists to identify those sites administered by Parks Canada (at present, there is a reference in the lead as to the # of Parks Canada site in the province or territory in question, but usually no indication of which ones unless one follows the external link in the reference). As a bit of test, I've added a beaver icon to those particular entries on List of National Historic Sites of Canada in Manitoba. The icon links to the Parks Canada article, although in future it could potentially link to a list of Parks Canada sites. Let me know what you think. --Skeezix1000 (talk) 21:13, 10 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Feel free whenever you have the time. I am the same way - I'll get to it when I have the time. Cheers, --Skeezix1000 (talk) 19:06, 14 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for October 26[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Horror film, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Spoof (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
