DYK submission of LA X

Hello demonhog. The nomination you submitted to DYK has been approved; however, to use the image provided, it would need to be included somewhere within the LA X article. Nice beginning of what will hopefully be quite the final season:). Kindly Calmer Waters 05:22, 19 January 2010 (UTC)

Nice work on the article! :) Theleftorium 16:16, 19 January 2010 (UTC)

DYK for LA X

Updated DYK query On January 31, 2010, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article LA X, which you created or substantially expanded. You are welcome to check how many hits your article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check ) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

Boone Carlyle

Hi there, just left a message on Boone Carlyle's talkpage, about getting it to FA status. If you could read it and leave your thoughts, would much appreciate it. Also, I'm sorry for all the reverting you've had to do.. I think in my eagerness to point out where places needed citations I may hav gone a tad too far! Calvin (talk) 21:07, 16 February 2010 (UTC)

Lighthouse.

Hey Demon, could you maybe talk to User talk:99.253.4.190? They keep adding information to the Lighthouse article, and yet it keeps getting reverted (by myself and other editors), has had several questions/warnings through edit summaries and I've left two on they're talk page. Keep up the good work. Thanks. --HELLØ ŦHERE 22:08, 27 February 2010 (UTC)

Darlton

I know no one calls them that. In one of their podcasts this season, Damon jokingly mentioned that he only gets one letter in the "Darlton" name. They then jokingly fought over it, and I believe it was Calrton who came up with "DameCar", so that it's more equal. Sorry if I've offended you by calling them that. --HELLØ ŦHERE 06:39, 5 March 2010 (UTC)

Image for Dr. Linus

Since you seem to be one of the lead Lost editors on Wikipedia, I was wondering if I could get your opinion on a matter.

On the article for the episode Dr. Linus, User:Jal11497 had placed a screenshot of Richard and Hurley heading to the Black Rock for the main image of the article. (File:RichardBlackRock.jpg) In my opinion, that was not an integral part of the episode--it was just a small subplot. The main focus of the episode was on Ben Linus, with his lengthy speech and "redemption" at the end of the episode being the most important scene. So I took the image File:LostDrLinus.png and put it on the top, giving a reasoning for its placement on the talk page.

User:Jal11497 without any discussion moved the Ben image to a lower point and put his Black Rock picture back on the top.

If possible, I would like to hear your opinion on the matter. Thank you.--CyberGhostface (talk) 02:00, 15 April 2010 (UTC)

Apology

I've just put a request up for TFA (May 18) that I'd been discussing on the talk page for a while, and to do so I had to replace the lowest scoring entry, which was the one you had just put up. Apologies for that, and I hope another slot opens up at some point for you to put the request back in. Carcharoth (talk) 02:35, 3 May 2010 (UTC)

I second that apology, since I was involved as well. It looks like 4 articles should drop off of that list in plenty of time for you to add the Lost one. Sorry again, and good luck with that, Awickert (talk) 02:50, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
Two articles at TFAR were scheduled, which leaves two slots open, so you should be able to make the request again. Dabomb87 (talk) 02:14, 6 May 2010 (UTC)

Obligatory Lost thread

Yeah, three and a half hours before the end (in Pacific America and the UK). But I haven't done it at any point in the season, so... Sceptre (talk) 00:34, 24 May 2010 (UTC)

TFA

What I meant was that a random photo of a person with no accompanying (pictured) in the first sentence can be confusing for readers who have not watched Lost. I couldn't figure out what the picture was for until I read the blurb a second time. On the flip side, congrats on the TFA and a great article! —Ed (talkmajestic titan) 06:58, 24 May 2010 (UTC)

I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore

As you may have noticed by my message on WT:LOST, Lost (season 4) is in danger of being dropped down to Good Topic if we can't find an article to get to featured in the next four weeks. Seeing as Jackie's dropped off the wiki as of late, do you mind cleaning up the "There's No Place Like Home" article and taking it to FAC? I'd do it myself, if I didn't have an FAC of my own to deal with... Sceptre (talk) 02:54, 3 August 2010 (UTC)

Adopt-a-user reminder

Hello, I have completed a general cleanup of the adopter information page for the adopt-a-user project, located here. During my cleanup, I have removed several inactive and retired users. In order to provide interested adoptees with an easy location to find adopters, it is essential that the page be up-to-date with the latest information possible. Thus:

  • If you are no longer interested in being an adopter, please remove yourself from the list.
  • If you are still interested, please check the list to see if any information needs to be updated or added - especially your availability. Thank you.
  • You are receiving this message because you are listed as an adopter here.

Because You Left/Dr. Candle.

Could you possibly help with the whole adding/not adding Dr. Candle thing on the Because You Left page? --HELLØ ŦHERE 23:40, 3 December 2010 (UTC)

Demonhog, it's getting worse. That IP is now purposely taunting. If you get a chance, please look through some of their diffs Special:Contributions/200.120.81.30. Something has to be done. Can you help? --HELLØ ŦHERE 00:56, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
