Hi there,

thanks for contacting me on my talk page. Your pretty much answered your questions yourself. Just amend the article with a sentence stating that the cooperative was closed. Changing the article to past tense would be a nice touch as well.

Meadowlark cooperative[edit]

Notice

The article Meadowlark cooperative has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article was created and maintained by a single user who appears to have used the page as advertising for the collective. Of the five sources cited, three appear to be identical (or, at least, two of them are "discussion forums" and thus less likely to be notable than a published news article from a local Fox affiliate). The only other sources are the notice in the AARP Bulletin, which feels like an advertisement, and the source I found about the collective's dissolution. This page doesn't really cut the mustard for notability. There's very little written about what was basically a vanity project that ended in 2012 (and thus, will not increase in notability in the future). It has only one link from a mainspace page, which should probably be deleted. It was heavily neglected for most of its existence -- I think I've cleaned up most of the typos but at this point I'm wondering why I bothered. This page should be deleted.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
