Hey man, I was hoping to get together sometime this morning so we could go over some resources for our article for the assignment. But it looks like you went ahead and did it early this morning, so I apologize for not helping with that. Add your article to your user page[edit]
You need to add an internal link to the article you're working on to your user page. To create the internal link, in the body of the edit box, click the icon to insert a link and just type the name of the page you're working on. After a second or two, you should see a message that says "Page Exists" which means that it found the Wikipedia page and will create an internal link to it rather than an external link like the one you currently have on there. Use of Force critique draft[edit]

First, the history and education sections are found to be lacking in my opinion. I suggest that the topic material for history consist of who what where and why. Who created/pioneered use of force/the use of force doctrines, what did that doctrine look like, where did third occur and why did he/she do this. For education I suggest talking about how use of force/its doctrines are taught. Case law, I want more. It should be easy to look up as the court records can be found online and I can easily see this section taking up a sizable chunk of this article. The statistics and use of force continuum look solid to me, I would focus more on the other sections TheTurf (talk) 19:37, 6 November 2014 (UTC)
new section for peer review on topic discretion[edit]
in the part about "...laws cannot be written without using discretion..." it seems a little unclear to me about the "using" part as i would think it would be more about the law be written and discretion is what individuals use in "applying" the law. I'm not quite sure it comes across that way as written. When i first read it it seemed like it was saying the law had to either be written with discretion pieces in it or that the law was written vaguely as to be open for interpretation.
adding a little bit more to explain/clarify this would help to make it clear
your ideas/suggestion for what you would like to see done to improve the topic (from the talk page) i think covers many options/areas that can be worked on/improved going forward. I think it will just be a matter of what areas you want to focus on to improve with what few weeks we have left for the project

Starting the sentence with "but" reads a little strange. perhaps a phrase such as " an important piece of where law ends..."
The Dispatch officer decides the priority of the call, an officer responding has discretion to take statements from witnesses as well as detain potential suspects.
Perhaps combining the two sentences together such as ( The Dispatch officer decides the priority of the call and an officer responding has...)
The suspect/the accused has the discretion to obtain a lawyer, how they will plead and to accept a plea bargain.
kind of the same problem. Try combining the two sentences with "and"
