Greetings, welcome to Wikipedia.

First, if you can post to my talk page you can't be blocked. Do you have AOL? That is the commonest reason for being accidentally blocked. Usually you can just post a note on your talk page, or else e-mail an admin, and one of us will undo the "autoblock." Let me know if there is a specific autoblock to clear (it will give a vandal and admin name on the block notice). Cheers, Antandrus (talk) 02:39, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I was not bloked at the time but the most recent block was right after that when I tryed to make my user page by the way how do people use my IP address? superx

If you use AOL, you get a new IP address every time you log on. So someone could have vandalised using an IP address which gets then assigned to you. It happens all the time, unfortunately. Antandrus (talk) 20:59, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Try it now; I cleared four autoblocks on the same IP. Antandrus (talk) 01:46, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks this happens to me alotSuperx 01:50, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please check your grammar before making edits[edit]

Your recent contributions to Wikipedia are very much appreciated. However, please take a moment to look over your contributions for spelling, grammatical, and punctuation errors before submitting them in final. This will help lessen the amount of copyediting work that fellow Wikipedians need to do, and will help improve the overall appearance of Wikipedia. This is not meant to be a disciplinary message, but merely a friendly request. Thank you!

Why[edit]

I would like to know why my edits in the List of secondary characters in Ben 10 keep being reverted exspecialy my ones to kevin which I did reenforce with facts from the show?

Dora the Explorer[edit]

That falls under the category of blatant vandalism, and you can feel free to remove it without consequence. The user needs to be warned, and if they don't stop, reported. Methods for handling vandalism can be found at WP:VAND and WP:AIV. Patstuart 21:02, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As I stated on the comments when I added the point about Isa having a crush on Boots, this is according to the Official Dora the Explorer annual for 2007, which I bought for my son for a Christmas present. It is also something I have suspected for a while, noting how she sounds whenever she says "Hi, Boots" but the comment in the annual confirmed it, otherwise I would not have put it on the page. And I won't laugh, thanks to my son, I've watched most of the episodes as well!!!DAAdshead 09:02, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps it's only in the UK that this information is available, I don't know. I only know it's there. You seem to be right about childrens programs pages being vandalised a lot. I do a bit of editing on my sons favourite TV show page (no, it isn't Dora!) The Backyardigans and that too, seems to be havily vandalised for no obvious reason! At least you asked in a nice way, as opposed to blundering in like one other person once (unfairly) did!DAAdshead 15:21, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Watching[edit]

Have you discovered the watchlist? It's a greest way to keep an eye on subsiduary articles. Rich Farmbrough, 14:56 13 January 2007 (GMT).

Re: Dora the Explorer[edit]

I am writing in regard to the section on Talk:Dora the Explorer wher eyou talk about Isa being in love with Boots. I am very dubious as to the truth around this, and would appreciate you revealing your source or the source of the information passed on to you. Regarding your signing up - welcome! As far as what to do, I'm going to set up another 10 blocks (10 articles each). After I've done so, I suggest signing up for a block and following the guidelines. If those aren't clear, just let me know.

And as for "permanently" joining, there really isn't any such thing - this isn't like volunteering to join the Army - all it takes to drop out is for you to delete your name. So, again, welcome, and I hope that you'll find doing a block or two every now and then to be enjoyable. (If not, there are plenty of other kinds of work elsewhere for any editor who wants to help.) John Broughton | Talk 22:55, 14 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Abandoned articles" by their nature are of all types; perhaps this isn't the project for you. (On the other hand, most of the work involves improving disambiguation pages, and there are some links on the project page that contain instructions. You might just want to work on a couple of articles without formally grabbing a block.)
As for Wikiprojects in general, you might consider joining Wikipedia:WikiProject Punch cartoons or Wikipedia:WikiProject Television, or look at the directory at Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Directory, if you're looking for something closer to your interest.
If you want to start a wikiproject, I suggest looking at Wikipedia:WikiProject and Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Guide, though this isn't something that a new user with less than 100 edits usually does. John Broughton | Talk 01:36, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Abandoned Articles Project[edit]

This user participates in
WikiProject Abandoned Articles.

The project has reached the quarter-way point for the work on the list of the oldest 1000 ("abandoned") articles in Wikipedia: 250 articles have been reviewed and updated!

The project now has 21 members. If you're no longer interested, please take your name off the list; you won't get any further messages like this one. On the other hand, if you're still interested, please consider signing up for a(nother) block of 10 articles to work on - if everyone did this, we'd be almost halfway through those 1000 articles!

Finally, please note that project approach has changed slightly - there is now a section for editors to place articles that need to be "adopted", or to adopt articles that need further work. This means that if you find an article in a block of ten that needs more work than you have time for, it has a place to be put.

About your question on the Dora the Explorer talk page...[edit]

Actually I think you should explain, because so far all I got to relate to is a small action in which she greeted "Hi, Boots", to him in a mushy gushy toned voice. But even so, her facial features didn't exactly match the words. Though, she was smiling... Your thoughts?ThegreatWakkorati (talk) 17:18, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fairly Oddparents' main villains[edit]

Excuse me, but maybe you are the only guy who thinks that some characters that appeared just one or two times can be called Main Characters. You JUST cannot compare such characters to Vicky, Crocker and Francis.Brazilian Man (talk) 18:17, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It won't work to get upset or make threats, because it was all your fault. You cannot edit the article with information which you just believe to be correct. And please note that you put there more information about "what the characters do" than "who the characters are". I'm not saying it's wrong. I mean, the sections you have created are too big, much bigger than the other ones.200.191.154.254 (talk) 04:48, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Welcome to Wikipedia. It appears I've been watching you impersonating users at the List of Dora the explorers talk page, so please refrain shouting. If you like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. 74.12.126.46 (talk) 14:18, 19 December 2010 (UTC) (Thomas)[reply]
