Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on User talk:Digital Spy Poster, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because User talk:Digital Spy Poster is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting User talk:Digital Spy Poster, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate User talk:Digital Spy Poster itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 13:02, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the tag, as it did not have a rationale explaination, as it is apparently required by the wording of the tag. Stwalkerster talk review 13:32, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

Thanks very much for reverting the vandalism on my userpage.

Hi Stwalkerster, thanks for the barnstar you awarded me last week (I don't check my awards page very much, so sorry about the late reply!) It feels nice to be appreciated, and I thank you for your kindness ;) Please don't hesitate to let me know if there's anything I can help you with. Cheers, Riana ⁂ 04:23, 9 June 2007 (UTC) [reply]

My RFA[edit]

Hello Stwalkerster/Archive Jul 2007, I just wanted to thank you for giving your comments at my recent RFA. While it didnt pass (I withdrew after it became apparent that the RFA was "sinking like the titanic" =]), I will try to focus on and build upon your comments, and the comments of all the other Wikipedians who participated. Thanks again for voicing your opinion, and I wish you very happy editing! Anonymous Dissident Utter 06:23, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the message. You are exactly right - I definitely need to look at the issues posed by the opposers: I am now taking much more care when tagging articles for speedy deletion, especially biographical articles. I will still work at the New pages patrol, but have sworn to myself to be much more careful. No more "trigger-happiness" for me! and, about the link - will do, when I next run for RFA (probably in a few months time). Anonymous Dissident Utter 06:14, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for reviewing me.[edit]

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I've been on wikibreak for a while and need a nice, long break. I'll probably be back in about a week from now. I'll also keep your review in mind.Shindo9Hikaru 03:07, 12 June 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Wikipedia:Requests_for_adminship/DrKiernan[edit]

Hi. Could you check Wikipedia:Requests_for_adminship/DrKiernan again? I know you opposed but many arguments have since been given against the "need for tools" argument and I would appreciate it if you could at least take the time to read them. Best, Pascal.Tesson 15:28, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for keeping an open mind. Pascal.Tesson 17:01, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wantok's RFA[edit]

Hello. I was going to vote on Wantok's RFA, when I saw you left a question. He has answered that question. Just thought you like to know!

Hope your GCSEs went/are going OK - mine finished on Friday :D.

Hey :). In that case, good luck! How have they gone so far? ck lostsword T C 17:51, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Same actually, it was pretty tricky - especially the last couple of questions. Oh, and that 3D triangles trig question at the end of Maths paper 2 was not so good either! I also didn't like the AQA Graphics paper. Ah well :). ck lostsword T C 18:21, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

mcmilk account[edit]

hello again, does your answer mean, 'yes' - just create a new account, or 'no' ? 19:25, 21 June 2007 89.57.61.191

Sorry, I can't remember what I said, but the account has been created by Krakatoa Katie for you. Stwalkerster talk 08:03, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, I got the account ;) --09:56, 22 June 2007 Mcmilk

How to get a list of sub-pages[edit]

Thanks for your quick answer. I've been searching unsuccessfully for some time. (Obviously, I've been looking in the wrong place. It's becoming a habit!) Many Thanks, Pdfpdf 16:34, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Augusto Boal[edit]

I did not delete information from this page. The listing of Key Terms is more appropriate for the Theater of the Oppressed article rather than Augusto Boal's biography. The information has been moved to the appropriate article and can be deleted from Augusto Boal. Please revert to my change so that the information on the two pages aren't redundant. --In Defense of the Artist 17:58, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Done - and sorry! Stwalkerster talk 18:01, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No worries. I'll be back to finesse it in a bit. --In Defense of the Artist 18:08, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Edit Summaries[edit]

Hi. You asked me to comment on my edits and I will try to be more dilligent about this. Thank you.

I'm currently preparing a complete rewrite of a page (History of AI). I'm preparing my rewrite as User:CharlesGillingham:History of AI. I'm finding it easier to write the new page, saving as I go. Eventually I thought I would announce my rewrite on the Talk page of History of artificial intelligence and let people look at it a few days before I clobber the existing page. Is this the recommended way of doing this? Is it bad to write and rewrite online like this?

I ask because I wonder if the "uncommented edits" that you noticed are to this page.

That's fine to do it like that, one can do a complete rewrite of the article in one's userspace, OR the alternative is a subpage in the talk space. I changed a few thing above into links for me to click on: I hope you don't mind! Stwalkerster talk 18:48, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Another question: is it possible to back and add comments to edits?CharlesGillingham 10:45, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No, Edit summaries are fixed. The only way to change them is by a direct database edit, only doable by developers, and they won't be too happy about doing that for you, otherwise everyone would ask for it! Believe me, I commonly say 'relpy' instead of 'reply' in edit sumaries, so it would be useful! Perhaps you could add it at the MediaWiki Bug Tracker as a feature request. :) -- Stwalkerster talk 18:59, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

VirtualSteve's RFA[edit]

Thank you for your support and comments at my RfA
Hi Stwalkerster, It still amazes me that otherwise "anonymous" editors take the time to place !votes and comments on RfAs. Whilst I would have normally thanked you at the time of you leaving your message, the importance of my not appearing to be canvassing prevented me from so doing. Now that everything has progressed successfully I can finally thank you. I intend to uphold a style of good adminship and will welcome your further comments at any time in the future, even if they are in the form of admonishment. I will be happy to help as an admin wherever and whenever I can --VS talk 22:55, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RfA thanks[edit]

Hi Stwalkerster. Thank you for your support and kind words in my RfA, which passed with 95 support, 1 oppose, and 1 neutral !votes. It means a lot to me to have your individual support and the collective support of so many others. I truly will strive to carry myself at a level representing the trust bestowed in me as I use the mop to address the never-ending drips of discontent in need of caretaker assistance.
