Conflict of interest[edit]
You recently edited the page Sheref Sabawy to remove material about Sabawy's unsuccessfully run for the Liberal Party of Canada nomination for the federal district of Mississauga—Erin Mills in the 2015 Canadian federal election.
It appears that you may have a conflict of interest. I reproduce the relevant section here:
Editors with a COI should follow Wikipedia policies and best practices scrupulously:
- you should disclose your COI when involved with affected articles;
- you are strongly discouraged from editing affected articles directly;
- you may propose changes on talk pages (by using the
{{request edit}}template), or by posting a note at the COI noticeboard, so that they can be peer reviewed;- you should put new articles through the Articles for Creation (AfC) process instead of creating them directly;
- you should not act as a reviewer of affected article(s) at AfC, new pages patrol or elsewhere;
- you should respect other editors by keeping discussions concise.
The material you removed was supported by an in-text citation and there is no reason given for deleting it. As a result, I have put it back. Please, comply with the conflict of interest policy.--Brett (talk) 15:05, 4 May 2021 (UTC)
