Hello. Please don't use this site as an advertising medium. Thanks. Regards, Lucky 6.9 14:54, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OK, but I am trying to start an information page on our company and product. Similar to other software companies, like "F5 Networks"

I have deleted the article you created, Ryma, as spam. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. A company needs to meet the notability guidelines set by WP:CORP. It needs to describe the company neutrally, verifiably and without original research. If the company is yours, as you state above, it probably isn't the best idea to write about it yourself, since that makes it hard to keep the necessary objective distance from the subject. On the article's talk page, you said "I am going to allow someone else to edit the content of this page..." Other people are allowed to edit the content of the article anyway, whether you allow them to or not. Noone owns a wikipedia article. Regards, Aecis I'm too busy acting like I'm not naive. 15:44, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated the article you created, Ryma, for speedy deletion. Because I was the one who deleted it the last time, I now want another admin to have a look at it. However, as the speedy deletion tags indicate, wikipedia is not a tool for advertising a company or a product. If you disagree with an article's deletion, you may ask for a deletion review. Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in Requirements management. It is considered spamming, and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Thanks. --Ronz 15:55, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ahh, back to spamming again are we? Wikipedia is not your advertising medium. --Blowdart 13:39, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am not advertising. Working on creating a legitimate site for Agile Product Managers. Still tweaking the text so that it complies. --srogers74

Tosh. How is lifting the text from another article with no changes except for links to a set of podcasts a legitimate edit? --Blowdart 13:47, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You haven't let me finish it yet! I am in the process of re-writing it. --srogers74

  • Please stop using Wikipedia to advertise your website or for any other kind of promotional; this is expressly prohibited by the policies. Should you continue, you will be blocked from editing. (If you disagree with the deletion, please don't re-create the article; rather, nominate it for undeletion.) Thank you. - Mike Rosoft 13:52, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
