Welcome![edit]

Hello, Squiddybean, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Response[edit]

Hi! With the talk page, this would be something you would use to respond to people who leave you messages or when you want to leave a message on their talk page like you did with mine. While this is an older video, the basics in this video should still be the same when it comes to using talk pages. As far as the sandbox goes, that can be used as a scratchpad and a drafting space for your article. This goes over editing with Visual Editor as a whole - it's a bit of an older video series but the basics are still there. It's definitely helpful as a visual aid.
