The article Olivepad vt10 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:NN product

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Toddst1 (talk) 04:46, 26 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I din't undo.[edit]

hi, Look at my changes. I have removed the redundant terms like Holy, Divine and also i ahve cut short some of the long names. I din't simply undo your edit and moreover i din't even do undo. Wasifwasif (talk) 13:14, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

My mistake. Looked like a complete undo. Could you trim down the article? It appears to be too religion centric, big and goes on to list various kings and rulers. A random person looking up 'Erwadi' would not be interested in all that info. --SpArC (talk) 14:31, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
yeah. WIll have to spare some time to work on that. Will do it. Wasifwasif (talk) 12:23, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Olivepad-home-screen-3d.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Olivepad-home-screen-3d.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Acather96 (talk) 09:59, 28 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've fixed it. Thanks for pointing that out. SpArC (talk) 12:37, 28 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ervadi[edit]

Hi,

wikipedia is not a forum to dump newspaper garbages and it is not a BLOG to showing the news, showing incidents (news).

If you will show the policy of wiki to publishing about the daily news i am not not going to delete

Regards Lamchungli

Hello, please take a look at Mumbai. It has news item about the 2008 bomb blasts. The only way I found out about Erwadi is because of the faith based healing homes and an accident there. It is not garbage. It is news and part of the city. If you search for 'Erwadi' in google, many links on the first page refer to the accident.SpArC (talk) 15:29, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I did not found that news in Mumbai; I did not found even the word "blast" on the page.... let me know where it is in? any have .. I don't want the references of other cities (it may in wrong way) . I just want to know, did wiki is allow to publish the news or not?.

If yes, (I will wait till 28th nov 2010. ) just give me the link and point number else remove that items....

If you are not ready to remove that item i will. Regards Lamchungli

Hi SpArC you are not able to show the policy. (because it is against of wiki).. so Please remove that content... if you are not delete the content i will ...

thanks Lanchungli

Going to remove end of this week. Hope that you agreed my points.. thanks Lanchungli

Let me put it this way: there is no rule against placing news. It is very relevant to Erwadi. A google search http://www.google.co.in/search?q=Erwadi yields information about the accident which happened years ago. I'll be forced to report this if you delete the content. --SpArC (talk) 16:07, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Also see images, http://www.google.co.in/images?q=Erwadi&biw=1366&bih=677. --SpArC (talk) 16:11, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just look at the first line of Wikipedia:No_original_research Wikipedia does not publish original research. The term "original research" refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and stories so not able to publish the facts - Ishaq

The Erwadi accident is not original research or rumour. It has been widely published. It has also been mentioned in websites of organizations which cater for special needs children. --SpArC (talk) 13:01, 3 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

i think you did not understand the above point...

original research == facts = ervadi accident so not able to publish

Let the article contain the incident. No harm. But undue importance need not be given to the incident. Wasifwasif (talk) 12:21, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on 2016 Asia Cup requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organized event (tour, function, meeting, party, etc.), but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Jinkinson talk to me 23:41, 11 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Language parameter[edit]

Hi there, re: this, the |language= parameter of the {{Infobox film}} template is to be used for the languages a film was produced in, not for dubs. In this case, the correct parameters are Telugu and Tamil, as Baahubali was filmed in both languages. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:29, 28 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:17, 29 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

C/o Kancharapalem moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, C/o Kancharapalem, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Thanks SshibumXZ. It's tough. The wikipedia rules can be daunting to a new user. So daunting that it can scare them away. SpArC (talk) 06:39, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
SpArC I know, I have heard about the steep learning curve on Wikipedia, what I'd advise you is to first edit some relatively uncontroversial stuff and then proced to edit more controversial things, that is somewhat akin to what I did, I don't still edit highly contentious topics such as caste, politicians et al, though. Nonetheless, I think my way doing it is better than just head-in getting into Wikipedia.
