Speedy deletion of World Chess Hall of Fame[edit]

A tag has been placed on World Chess Hall of Fame requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Hello! A little advise on how to make a good article![edit]

Hi there! I can see that you are trying to make this a good article! You may want to check out Your First Article for some pointers. A good way to start is with a good intro. Include the who or what and the when or where. Make sure you include all pertinent information. Like in your Union Academy article, is it in Macon County, Georgia or Florida or where? (I had to google it to find that it is in North Carolina) Next include a brief history. When, where, and who founded the school. Don't forget to include in-text citations. Next you may want to create an accolades section. It is better to keep this in prose format than to just have bulleted sentences. Either way, include the appropriate references. Remember, the reference should verifiable and third-party (i.e., not sourced from the subject). If you need any more help don't hesitate to ask me on my talk page located here! Proposed deletion of Progressive jazz[edit]

The article Progressive jazz has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Vague term, at best (if not meaningless). Cites disparate cool jazz and Stan Kenton as examples.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
