Family Guy reference desk proposal[edit]

Thanks for participating in Talk:Family Guy.

I've started a discussion thread on WP:FG about the possibility of starting a Family Guy reference desk. Anyone who feels we should be answering general Questions about Family Guy is encouraged to participate in this discussion. / edg 22:35, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think I'd also like to volunteer for that. Slappywag42 17:08, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Slappywag42. You can sign up for WikiProject Family Guy by adding your name and signature to the project page, and selecting "Watch" so you'll be notified of Talk page discussion.
The proposal for the Family Guy reference desk is still incomplete, and the project hasn't started yet because there haven't been enough volunteers. If interested, sign up on the WP:FGdesk Talk page. If this gets going, we should probably shoot for the season premiere in a couple weeks. / edg 14:30, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Slappywag42, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Thanks for the welcome. Malfunctioning robots aside, I think I might actually like this. Slappywag42 23:24, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Family Guy citations[edit]

Thanks for adding citations to List of characters from Family Guy. Not that we couldn't use like 100 more, but I never thought anyone would take this on. Great work! / edg 01:44, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, but I deserve only half of the credit. Slappywag42 19:25, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I eventually figured that out. However, ability to work with others isn't a talent everyone has, so picking up the ball from Cromulent is still great work. :) / edg 21:21, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Slappywag42 14:46, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Civility[edit]

Please maintain a civil tone. I won't restore the in-universe and plot summary tags to Delta Flyer, despite the article still being in-universe and only plot summary. But edit summaries about "power" and "will" is simply nonsense and counter-productive. As an aside: can you point to an element of Delta Flyer that is not in-universe or plot summary? --EEMIV (talk) 21:24, 9 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Note my edit summary, when I reverted your reversion CTJF83Talk 22:28, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That was the edit summary in which Ctjf83 falsely accused me of stealing "word for word." Ctjf83 appears to be incapable of admitting that he did something very wrong. Wrongs darker than night or day! Slappywag42 (talk) 19:54, 20 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think you meant to say "night or death," a quotation from Prometheus Unbound. Robert Happelberg (talk) 20:27, 21 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That makes so much more sense. I had that quote all wrong. Amazing: it's not taht hard to admit one has made a mistake. Slappywag42 (talk) 14:29, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"To suffer woes which Hope thinks infinite; To forgive wrongs darker than death or night; To defy power which seems omnipotent; To love, and bear; to hope till Hope creates From its own wreck the thing it contemplates;/Neither to change, nor falter, nor repent; This, like thy glory, Titan, is to be Good, great and joyous, beautiful and free;/This is alone Life, Joy, Empire, and Victory." -- Shelley

Also note, none of the 3 "guest stars" appeared in the episode CTJF83Talk 05:52, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Do not edit my talk page unless you have something constructive to say. CTJF83Talk 19:27, 20 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ya, stop being pretentious. I still don't have an apology for your rudeness here and readded here or your rude edit summary here so knock your whiny bitching off, and deal with it, and stop editing my page without a valid reason!!!! CTJF83Talk 20:35, 20 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
For an intelectual with such a high IQ such as yourself, youre reading comprehention leaves alot to be desired. Those remarks weren't meant for you at all. If you slowed down and tried to comprehend what you're replying to before firing off a reply, maybe you'd be more productive and falsely accuse fewer people in the process. That's rich. Ctjf83 can attack me all he want, but i do one little thing and I'm trheatened with being kicked off. Excellent. Slappywag42 (talk) 16:26, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

After investigating a report at Wikipedia:Requests_for_checkuser/Case/PrimeFan, I have come to the conclusion that this account, along with a large number of other accounts, are all being operated by the same person as abusive sockpuppets. Operating multiple accounts is not permitted when they are used to edit the same articles and debates. However, due to the nature of the IP addresses involved, it is possible that some of these users have coincidentally shared a computer or IP address. If this is the case, you may request to be unblocked by emailing the blocking admin or the unblock mailing list with your official University email address. This is to prevent one person from spoofing the admins with multiple free throwaway email accounts such as gmail or yahoomail. (Your email address will not be stored or used other than for verification.) If this is a misunderstanding I apologize in advance, and your account will be unblocked as soon as you provide proof that you are a separate individual. Be advised two checkusers examined this case and agreed on the results.RlevseTalk 03:00, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
