August 2019[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to The Great Mouse Detective, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. DonIago (talk) 19:56, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Oops! Sorry about that. I won't happen again next time. SierraJames46 (talk) 05:46, 22 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

No apology needed, but appreciated! Thanks! DonIago (talk) 14:12, 22 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for November 1[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited An American Tail (franchise), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Native Americans (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 07:38, 1 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed the issue. I'll be more pacific on my edits next time. I didn't mean to use incorrect links. SierraJames46 (talk) 17:10, 2 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for November 8[edit]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited An American Tail (franchise), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cleavage (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).

(Opt-out instructions.) --DPL bot (talk) 07:38, 8 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed the issue. I've really got to look before I start editing. I'll know when I'm licked. SierraJames46 (talk) 22:52, 8 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Kill off[edit]

If you want to add examples to kill off, please cite a reliable source that describes how and why the characters were killed off. A link to an online store where you can buy the product proves nothing. Examples of reliable sources would include articles written by professional journalists at newspapers and magazines from reputable publishers (Variety, The Times, The Sydney Morning Herald, etc.) NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 04:04, 6 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I acknowledged. I'll know next time. SierraJames46 (talk) 06:58, 6 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your editing issues.[edit]

I've seen that you've done a lot of editings on An American Tail: The Treasure of Manhattan Island between late December 2019 until user Trivialist removed what was declared "not sourced" since c.January 2020. Wikipedia is a serious site and please read rules before doing so. Also, if you wish to edit, make sure these are sourced POV. Why don't you just retire from editing for a while until you are able to edit pages properly? Cheers. Retrosunshine2006 (talk) 00:50, 29 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Princess Sally Acorn (character) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://info.sonicretro.org/Princess_Sally_Acorn. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — Diannaa (talk) 12:27, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Diannaa Is there a way to do a page about the character? I mean she was popular when Archie Comics was making the stories until giving up in 2017, years after Ken Penders got sued for copyright infringement. SierraJames46 (talk) 22:07, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

We used to have an article, but it was deemed that the character was not notable enough for a standalone article.— Diannaa (talk) 22:41, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 02:59, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
