April 2016[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to SoHo, Manhattan may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • | name = SoHo-Cast Iron Historic District and Extension (not to be confused with neighborhood "SoHo"

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 12:38, 28 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You are entirely wrong. Joyce Gold did indeed write the entry "SoHo" in the Encyclopedia of NYC, which I have in front of me right now. Since that piece of your information was totally incorrect, and your edit summary shows considerably bias (a violation of our neutral point of view policy, I have absolutely no confidence in everything else you've added to the article, so I have deleted it. If you have concerns, please discuss them on the article's talk page and do not restore your edits without a consensus to do so from the editors on that page.

When I have a little more time tomorrow, I will look through your edits more thoroughly, and if any of it appears to me to be correct, and the citations supporting it are from reliable sources, then I will restore those parts of it. However, in all fairness, I suspect that you are the same editor who has tried to make similar edits to the article before under different names -- which, incidentally, is a violation of WP:SOCK, a Wikipedia policy -- so if that's the case, I would advise you not to continue to edit, lest your activities be brought to the attention of admins, or your account(s) be subject to a sockpuppet investigation.
