Hedge fund intro[edit]

Hi - thanks for your comments on the hedge fund page. I agree with your view that SEC and accredited investors are US concepts, and the overview paragraph could be more general, i.e., by saying they are open to limited numbers, etc.

But if that is the case, per your suggestion, there should definitely be a US section, because stating that US hedge funds are limited to accredited investors and not regulated by the SEC is crucial. I do plan on working on it some more (when I have time and whatnot), so let's see if we cannot both beef up the article a bit. Thanks for your help, and your views! Hedge fund data[edit]

Hi. As you commented the data is pretty old. But if no newer data are available, the newest but old ones are informative.

I retrieved in this article's history to find that section, hedge fund data, because I read it a few weeks ago and I found it informative.

This is my first post in Wikipedia and English is not my native language so please forgive me if my comment is awkward in posting manner and English.

I think you may be interested to see two new section drafts I have suggested on the Hedge fund Talk page. As you'll by now have guessed, they relate to the "risk" section we both updated this past week, plus a somewhat related one. Hedge fund introduction[edit]

Hello, Servalo. Several months ago you helped me out with the Hedge fund article, including adding a new introduction. Recently, someone has changed this introduction and now it contains several inaccuracies, and is out-of-date. My full explanation is on the Hedge fund discussion page, I have asked the editor to talk it over, and my current solution is to simply go back to what we agreed on earlier this year.
