If possible, please vote here on which of these articles to collaborate on. Thank you.

Miscellaneous Templates[edit]

Hi! Is there a page that lists the various commonly used templates such as {{cleanup}}? Sazielt c 17:47, 6 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Congratulations! Yes, their is a directory of all the useful templates to use on articles, almost all of the can be found at this directory. Is their anything else, or would you like to learn about warning IP addressess/user for vandalism? This is just a random place to start but its useful. Thanks - Tellyaddict 17:17, 7 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Signature[edit]

Hello there. As a courtesy for other editors, kindly observe Wikipedia guidelines and sign your talk page and user talk page posts. To do so simply add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comments and your user name or IP address and the date will be automatically added. Meanwhile, you are more than welcome to move coding currently found in your template to Special:Preferences, while enabling the "Raw signature" option. Visually it doesn't matter whether you use ~~~~ or the template followed by a timestamp, but I strongly recommend using the former to avoid complications resulted after a template change or deletion. Please consider it. Michaelas10 11:50, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that you have revised either Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri or Sid Meier's Alien Crossfire.

I intend to revise those articles following the Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Article guidelines. There are more details on the discussion pages of those articles. I'd be interested in any comments you have. It would be best if your comments were on the discussion pages of the two articles.

Thank you.

Call for Wikipedians in Residence in Africa[edit]

Hello,

I hope you are well and thriving!! WikiAfrica has just put out a call for two Wikipedians in Residence. One in Cape Town at WikiAfrica, at the Africa Centre; and the other for WikiAfrica Cameroon in Douala, at doual’art. If you are interested, please contact either Marilyn [marilyn.doualabell@doualart.org] for the WikiAfrica Cameroon call or Isla [islahf@africacentre.net] for the WikiAfrica position in Cape Town.

If you are not interested in applying, I would be very grateful if you could spread this call far and wide among your networks to ensure that both projects get excellent candidates. Here is the link for the information page: http://www.wikiafrica.net/two-wikipedians-in-residence-for-africa/

Best regards, Islahaddow

Cleopatra bust at the Archaeological Museum of Cherchel, Algeria[edit]

Hello! Sorry to intrude or take up any of your time, but I have an extraordinary request that you may be interested in. It's not every day that I make extraordinary requests, but this is an extraordinary situation that I hope you might be able to address, being a Wikipedia editor from Algeria. I might visit Algeria one day, but I'm not going to wind up in the country any time soon. I was wondering if you would be interested, at any point in the future if you have any spare time, in visiting the Archaeological Museum of Cherchell, Algeria to photograph the bust of Cleopatra VII of Ptolemaic Egypt (also possibly a bust of her daughter Cleopatra Selene II, wife of Juba II of Mauretania). There are no available public domain or other suitably licensed images of this bust found at Wikimedia Commons or anywhere online that I have seen. All images of it online that I have seen are copyrighted and under non-commercial licenses, unfortunately, so I cannot upload them to Wikimedia Commons. If you would take a photo of this obscure bust and upload it to Wikimedia Commons under a public domain or suitable commercial license, it would be a great boon for Wikipedia! Pitagora listed at Redirects for discussion[edit]

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Pitagora. Since you had some involvement with the Pitagora redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you wish to do so. — the Man in Question (in question) 21:05, 16 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
