Removal of insignificant and improperly sourced material from the article "Anti-Japanese Sentiment"[edit]

I removed the 21st century paragraph because it was ill informed and not noteworthy. Just because there were a few sickos on youtube who made comments referencing the 2011 Tōhoku tsunami disaster to anything related to 70 year old World War II issues doesn't mean it's worthy of a wikipedia entry, furthermore just because someone with a blog or publishing ability on a website sees these comments and decides to write an article about it purely shows bad journalistic and investigative qualities on their behalf. I'm going to remove it again and would kindly ask that it not be repurposed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.94.7.228 (talk) 18:12, 5 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

re: vibroblade[edit]

the edit on 'high frequency blade', other than meaning 'makes it easy to stab really fast', it sounded a LOT like a thing i'd read in heinlein novels, mentioned many times. i'd noticed that nobody mentioned heinlein in the discussion page, in mere seconds i found references to it, i'm thinking if it was referenced, the page wouldn't have been deleted, some day it'll be added back. i would have mentioned it, but the discussion page was archive. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.68.77.55 (talk) 11:52, 10 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you would like the article reinstated, you can attempt to create and write a new one, with the help of other editors if you so desire. I strongly recommend you collaborate with other editors unless you are already familiar with the manual of style and other policies and guidelines. Otherwise, I suggest you try to reach out to a relevant WikiProject to find more experienced editors who are willing to assist you. Feel free to ask me if you need anything. On an unrelated note, please sign your posts on talk pages. Thank you. Coppaar (talk) 22:21, 10 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Duplication[edit]

Please take care not to add tags which are already present in an article, as you did in this edit. Thanks. PamD 15:47, 10 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'll try to observe that in the future, thanks. Coppaar (talk) 04:06, 11 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider running for sysop. Bearian (talk) 21:21, 13 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I'm incredibly flattered, but I can't say I feel worthy, WP:NOBIGDEAL notwithstanding. I'd like to learn more about Wikipedia and gain more experience before making an RfA, but I'm honored by your faith in me. Coppaar (talk) 00:48, 14 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the update re 204.126.132.241[edit]

Appreciate the update re 204.126.132.241. I'm pretty new on Wikipedia, so given that this apparently isn't a high rate of vandalism in the grand scheme of things, and that blocking the IP address would potentially mess up innocent folks as well, I'm not gonna request any action. Maybe (yes, this is just a joke) I should just hack up Howard_Community_College and let the perpetrator spend his time correcting that instead of bothering all the football players (he messed with Asante_Samuel right after Jason_Witten but at least he doesn't just hate 1 team). Thanks for your efforts towards keeping Wikipedia a nice place to hang out :) ...Greg... Gmporr (talk) 22:31, 15 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No problem! Wikipedia has a pretty steep learning curve, but if you don't get too discouraged, you'll learn to love it. If you need advice or help with anything feel free to ask me. Coppaar (talk) 00:05, 16 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
