Speedy deletion of Chuck Monroe[edit]

A tag has been placed on Chuck Monroe, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. TNX-Man 14:11, 4 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Mainimage small.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Mainimage small.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 05:06, 15 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. HarlandQPitt (talk) 05:23, 15 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright violation removed[edit]

Hello, I removed information from Chuck Monroe that appeared to be a copyright infringement of this web page. Text on Wikipedia must be freely licensed under the GFDL, so if it is blatantly copied from a website then that site must also freely license their content. Hi again. I removed that copyrighted block again. Please only add original or freely licensed content to Wikipedia. Feel free to ask me questions here and I will try to answer them. ZabMilenkoHow am I driving? 16:49, 15 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Chuck Monroe, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Chuck Monroe. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. – Zntrip 18:37, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You will see from the fact that the link has turned red that the article on Chuck Monroe has been deleted by community consensus. Any new article about Chuck Monroe will be speedily deleted - unless the article contains new, reliable and significant sources independent of Monroe demonstrating his notability. If you really want to write an article about Chuck Monroe, you will need either to find better sources or to wait until better sources about him are written. If you are determined to write about him, I strongly suggest that you write about him in a draft article in your userspace first e.g. at user:Ronaldreed/Chuck Monroe, and then bring the draft to deletion review for consideration. I hope this is clear, but let me know if I can explain further. Regards, BencherliteTalk 18:59, 23 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I have deleted the "still under construction" attempt at an "article" that you dumped in the mainspace. Did you not read the message I left for you? Well, you will now be unable to create a page called "Chuck Monroe" without an administrator's approval. BencherliteTalk 06:18, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Chuck Monroe[edit]

The page that you created has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. In the future, could you please create a draft first? Perhaps at user:Ronaldreed/Chuck Monroe. And then, after you have completed your draft, contact another editor and have them look at it to make sure that it meets Wikipedia's guidelines. Then, and only then, contact a sysop to move the article from your userspace into mainspace. Thank you, and good luck! -T'Shael, Lord of the Vulcans 06:20, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
