On the topic of Aboriginals[edit]

Hi, I'm Kline and I just reverted your edit on Hudson's Bay Company because, well, Canada also uses Aboriginals for First Nations/"Indians". Hope you understand. Kline | yes? 03:09, 17 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello i thank you for your concern about the north American fur trade page. i wouldn't say that it is a mistake on your part but a simple misunderstanding. i did adequately explaining what i changed, and why. By saying that i was "changing the word Aboriginal to Indian or first nations because Aboriginal referrers specifically to Australian indigenous people." Because we have distinct histories sperperate from each other with uqence histories. With first nations and Indian being the proper name for north american indigeous peoples. so i would like to humbalily ask you restore my edit. thank you so much for your cheerfulness and wish you a great day. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rommel's editor (talkcontribs) 20:29, 17 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, I'm suggesting that you use the article's talk page to gain consensus WP:CONSENSUS from the community of editors before making sweeping changes like that. Additionally, you might want to post an inquiry on the talk page of WikiProject Indigenous People of North America, which can be found HERE. Thank you, and best regards, Netherzone (talk) 21:22, 17 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ernest Manning[edit]

Some of the content - like red scare, radio programs etc - which had references was indeed very good. Unfortunately, because of a mistake when it came to the referencing even the good parts got reverted. At a minimum, I think you can add back 90% of the text, as it's all referenced. just make sure to watch out for adding the page number. I think you added the total pages with the specific page, and that's why it messed it up. Have a great day. Hemanthah (talk) 11:40, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

June 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Cosmic6811. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Anthony Henday, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. -- Cosmic (talk) 06:31, 14 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The last citation for the legacy section is finished, you had me a little worried when you said the source wasn't reliable. Cause like I already said the source I used was an official government document produced by the government of Alberta for educational purposes, and was created and assembled by official government historians. I don't know know where you can get a more reliable source from. But thanks again. Rommel's editor (talk) 20:25, 14 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
