Unit 5 Stuff for Tomorrow[edit]

So if you haven't looked at it for tomorrow we need to do some stuff on our group page. We need to do two articles a piece. Since I would rather not have overlap, I am doing my assessments on Gene Knockdown and Viral Transformation. Let me know what you are up to.

Unit 6 Deciding on our Article[edit]

         Hello Dmille, I am very open to which ever article, maybe except for gene knockout... it already has a bit of stuff in it and it might be a lot of work to edit it, rather than just write another article from scratch.  Also, either histone octamer is protein related, so maybe I'd feel more comfortable with it.  What do you feel most comfortable about?

If you are comfortable with the histone octamer I'd say we go for it. It's still open and there's probably a lot of research on it. Neither of mine were that great so I would say this is the best bet.

Want me to make the change or do you want to do it? Also the assignment says we need to write a 200-300 segment claiming it. Not sure if that means each of us needs to do it but I would guess we just one.

Outline for what we intend to add; we'll do it in YOUR sandbox because why not
List of references we've used or plan to use in the sandbox
Then we need to post our suggested improvements to the talk page of the histone octamer article

File permission problem with File:Histone Octamer structure by X-ray.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Histone Octamer structure by X-ray.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
