Category:Pathologists Nobel laureates

I have proposed that Category:Pathologists Nobel laureates, which you created, should be merged to Category:Nobel laureates in Physiology or Medicine and also made into a list.

Westenhöfer

Dear Rodrigja You are doing a great job with the article on Westenhöfer! I (Renato Bender) planned to do something similar, but I did not have the time to do it. My wife Nicole Bender wrote a MD thesis on his life and work http://www.aquatic-hypothesis.com/subsites/pdf/Nicole_Bender_MD_Dissertation.pdf

Please let me know if you need something about him. We have most of his publications (although not most the Spanisch articles and books). I am writing right now an outline of his Aquatile Hypothese in a PhD thesis in Witwatersrand University. After the PhD we could help to expand the article on Westenhöfer. Thanks, but actually other authors did the main work. I've added some historical information and will add some medical references about him. Also, I placed him in the list of notable pathologists. Thanks for sharing your wife's thesis with more info about his work. All the best. Rodrigja

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia.
