@TornadoLGS Hi, I had to add my citations away from the app as it disallowed adding the appropriate citations. One is from a personal interview of the spotter who reported this tornado. The other, from an eyewitness account under the "Talk" column, then "Personal experiences" link. The initial spotter eyewitness account is also discussed several minutes into the film documentary, "Eight-Minutes in August: the F-5 Plainfield Tornado of 1990" produced by the Joliet Historical Museum. Comments on a Wikipedia talk page don't count a reliable source. All there is is the word of an IP editor. The interview, similarly, would have to be published somewhere; information has to be verifiable. If the documentary is published, that can be cited. @TornadoLGS Yes, I am aware of that. However, as stated, I have personally spoken to, and verified the credentials of the person noted. I found the story notable as it was mentioned in a documentary and further cited as the earliest known sighting of the appending tornado. This person was a member of county gov't at the time and their story was further verified through the prior county emergency coordinator. To me, that is valid enough, aside being questionable via some users of this platform. However, I do appreciate your concern with verification.
