Categorisation[edit]

Please read WP:Categorization. If an article is in a category that is a subcategory of another category then it does not need to be in the supercategory as well. -- Necrothesp 17:14, 5 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You don´t wirte "Strasse" in German. It´s "Straße" and it stays Straße. Und no it didn´t change due to the new orthography-rules. And btw whats the sense in putting the lemma into ""?!? Weissbier 13:21, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

First of all the poverty of the english language disgusts me. =;o)
Second: it aint a "Beta" it is a "ß", which was invented to substitute not "ss", but "sz". But you don´t change the writing of NAMES. And "Neustand an der Weinstraße" ist the name of the town. (Btw: half the size of the Chicago cemetery, but twice as dead) Or do you think it is ok to write Orléans like Orleans or Orleeans or just as you like?!? I don´t think so. Weissbier 13:24, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, the anglo-saxon language imperialism is really disgusting. But if its written in the manual, then I have no chance in insisting on not using these childern-language names you folks use. Boy I hope to go on holidays in "Neu-Jork-Stadt soon and can´t wait to see Schikagoh and the Gränt Känjon. *lol* Or in short terms: go ahead, do as you like. I won´t provoke an edit-war on this matter. Weissbier 10:23, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

--Mifter (talk) 20:45, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of Heidelberg Police Department[edit]

The article Heidelberg Police Department has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not notable (regional police structure). Also, the police departments' distribution has been completely changed with a huge reform in 2013. Almost the entire article (from 2007/2008) is now wrong/outdated.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nomination of Heidelberg Police Department for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Heidelberg Police Department is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Heidelberg Police Department until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. GermanJoe (talk) 15:30, 30 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
