This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Restiform Bodies, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.hi-dive.com/artists/detail/restiform-bodies. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. • You appear to have created user:Bomarr purely to send me an e-mail. Why? You are Matt Bomarr of Restiform Bodies / Anticon Records. You have a clear COI in this subject and should not be contributing to Wikipedia about them. Wait. When the band becomes notable someone with no COI will write it up for you. — RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 16:04, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    • I'm a little confused. Yes, I created this Wikipedia account, not purely to contact you, but to be able to edit our Wikipedia page. When I found out that it was no longer there, I contacted you because it said you might be able to help. I was not planning on putting anything up to promote myself or my group, I merely wanted to finally have accurate information about us online because there's often general confusion over certain facts about us. We're just as notable as other artists on our label, and have worked with Grizzly Bear, Of Montreal, DJ Krush, etc etc. Please tell me what I need to do, or maybe just help me figure out the confusion here. I strongly believe that our whole entry was messed up by a fan who was trying to promote us, which is not what Wikipedia is for.Bomarr —Preceding undated comment was added at 19:32, 22 December 2008 (UTC).[reply]
  • I thought I had made my views clear. As a person with a strong COI, you should not be creating an article about the group here. A fan writing about you is slightly better (and why do you say the fan messed up the article - it seemed perfectly good to me). The person who should be writing is someone with a broad, balanced view of your particular music scene who can thus judge whether you are notable. Read this suggestion. — RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 01:23, 23 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Warning[edit]

I have blocked two alternate accounts apparently in use by you: Bomarr (talk · contribs) and Purgery (talk · contribs). Please consider this as a final warning to cease promoting the band Restiform Bodies. If you continue to abuse multiple accounts or promote your own interests then you may be banned from Wikipedia. Hello,

I am contacting you regarding a big misunderstanding between myself and people with too much power in their hands.

In short, I tried to edit the wiki page Restiform Bodies but this one was protected, so I asked user RHaworth to kindly unlock it, he then answered me this:

1) ask yourself whether you should be writing on this topic given your obvious COI. [...] RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 13:38, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

Conflict of interest ? What makes him thinks that ? I am a fan all right. I mean this is crazy I shouldn't have to do this, it's 5 in the morning here, someone blocked my IP because he's paranoid. Everything for what ? Just because I want to make the profile of some indie band who formed 10 years ago, toured the U.S. and Europe, released severals albums, got very good critics BUT don't have a big audience and this is why this page is necessary, in order for people to know about them. I wouldn't have to explain myself right now if it was for some huge pop star.

So for the last time, I don't have multiple accounts. Bomarr ? No I am not Bomarr (member of Restiform Bodies) but I do understand his frustration of knowing that every other artists from his record label anticon has his own page, except for his band. Why is that ? Because we fans, user Purgery included, who's a friend of mine (who has been banned as well because living under my roof) can not edit a blank page. But why ? Why nobody can't no one edit this page ? I'm beginning to think that the one with a COI is you, whoever you might be.

So ban my IP, for life if this is what you want, sincerely I don't care. However I would like to say that it is a real shame to let some people ruling this encyclopedia like it is some kind of prison, I spare you the details, anyway I'm sure you know what I am talking about.

Good bye.

What are you talking about ? The page is about a music band, Restiform Bodies, not a blog and I don't have multiple accounts, can't you read ? Can I talk to someone who knows what he is doing please?
