Thiyyar[edit]

I really wouldn't waste much of your time developing Thiyyar. It will be deleted as a POV fork of Ezhava and you can verify why this is so by reading the numerous discussions about the subject at Talk:Ezhava, including those that are now archived. The article has been previously deleted for a similar reason, albeit with a slightly different spelling of the name. - Sitush (talk) 13:25, 18 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you have points to state, please just add a new section and state them. Blanking the entire Talk:Ezhava is disruptive and not at all a good way to get your point across. Further, statements like "they have a right to exist" are not proper adult arguments, but appeals to emotion. If you have WP:Reputable sources which indicate that the Thiyyar are a distinct group, please post a summary of your argument and links to proper source supporting it. It seems the user has replaced the entire talk page at Thiyyar with his/her comment (I can't seem to be able to verify whether this is the first time or not). I rolled back with Twinkle assuming good faith. AndieM (Am I behaving?) 14:35, 18 April 2012 (UTC) (edit: I've had to revert it twice now. I'll follow 3RR but won't be able to do much after that.)[reply]
This user also deleted a section of my talk page, for reasons unknown. I sort of assumed that it was an accident at the time but given the pattern that is emerging, I might get an admin to take a look at things. I am also slightly concerned about possible multiple accounts & so, just for the record, please will Rahulkris999 confirm that they have read WP:SOCK. - Sitush (talk) 17:14, 18 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
well your allegations are baseless..--Rahulkris999 (talk) 18:19, 18 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I have not alleged anything, although I note that someone else also began to think that your deletions were deliberate rather than accidental. I am merely trying to point you to a policy that often causes problems in the sphere of India-related articles. If you are aware of it then that is great. - Sitush (talk) 23:16, 18 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thiyyar subcaste[edit]

well sitush I would like to know is it possible to include Thiyya as subcaste with in ezhava having separate page?....please check wiki nambiar community which mention it self as sub caste of nair.--Rahulkris999 (talk) 09:38, 22 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Talk:Thiyyar, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. In future I will be more careful--Rahulkris999 (talk) 14:56, 18 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Guidelines[edit]

Please read our talk page guidelines - you are making an almighty hash of things at Talk:Thiyyar and other pages to which you are contributing. It is confusing your case and also people who are trying to understand it. - Sitush (talk) 15:48, 23 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, point noted --Rahulkris999 (talk) 16:03, 23 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. December 2012[edit]

Hello, I'm Boing! said Zebedee. I noticed that you recently removed some content without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, I restored the removed content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Please explain why you wish to remove that content on the talk page of the article, and get a consensus for its removal. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 12:34, 27 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
