Birds WikiProject[edit]

Hi Queen Saphire! I see you've made multiple edits to the Peregrine article — and you must be getting frustrated that so many of your changes have been reverted by others. It's tough when you're a new editor, and not quite sure what you're doing wrong. With the Peregrine article, people are being protective because it's a featured article, so other editors are trying to preserve its high quality. New facts have to be referenced, for example, and the lead (those first few paragraphs) should provide only a brief summary of the article to follow. I'd like to invite you to join us at the WikiProject Birds team. We're an active project always looking for keen new writers. Right now, we're working on the White Stork article. Science lovers wanted!

Hi! I'm serving as the wikipedian-in-residence at the Smithsonian Institution Archives until June! One of my goals as resident, is to work with Wikipedians and staff to improve content on Wikipedia about people who have collections held in the Archives - most of these are scientists who held roles within the Smithsonian and/or federal government.
