Thanks for your note. I don't really doubt that your group exists; what you didn't prove was that it was notable. It is not enough for a group to exist in order for it to be the subject of a Wikipedia article, it has to be notable, and that notability has to be attested to by reliable sources (third-party experts writing in reputable publications like books, magazines and newspapers), and those reliable sources have to be verifiable. Articles that don't contain those three vital concepts are subject to immediate deletion, once they are examined by a new page patroller. I would recommend that you look at WP:Your first article for some background information on these concepts, as well as follow the links in this paragraph; if you still have further questions, leave me a note. While I appreciate your enthusiasm for the Reverend William Paley's teleological argument, article talk pages are for discussing specific improvements to the article, not a forum for debate. How am I attacking them!?!? I have never said anything against them...and I was just saying that I was debating on talk pages because someone explained to me that they were not meant for actually talking, just commenting on what could be changed...I was even saying Thank you to Mildy Mad...but I guess courtesy is also vandalism :(

I don't know how I "attacked the reputation of another person." I will admit that I am very opinionated :D

But I do not decide one day that I want the sky to be green, and it magically turns green...Yes, I do not site sources mainly because most of the internet is either unreliable or biased...All my evidence, thus far, has been based on common sense and logic...

Note: I'm not saying that everyone who does not agree with me, is dumb and does not listen to reason...I'm just trying to get people thinking for themselves, rather than believing everything they've been told...I have taken the time to question my beliefs and everything that I have been taught. By doing this, I see the world differently than I used to. My motives are innocent, I just want people to experience this metamorphosis...

Since you're interested in evolution, feel free to debate it at talk origins. There are plenty of websites for debating issues, but Wikipedia isn't one of them as has been pointed out to you. If you don't want to help to construct an encyclopaedia based on published reliable sources, this is the wrong place for you. An honest question for you, Gnome: how is it logical to decide that evidence is wrong or biased before you read it? How is it logical to make scientific claims based on "common sense?" Common sense tells us many things; quite a few of them are wrong. Common sense tells us that the Earth is flat and the sun revolves around it. (Yes, I know that you don't believe those things, but that's because someone demonstrated that, contrary to common sense, they're not true.)

I certainly don't want to turn your page into a debate forum, but consider those questions. Think them through. You may find that those of us who accept the evidence for evolution aren't doing so because it's what we've "been told to think"--but rather because we've spent years studying the evidence for and against both positions, and have concluded that Creationism does not explain the facts, and evolution does. --BRPierce (talk) 19:32, 30 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I will stop making forums...I'm just giving a closing statement FYI, The earliest portions of Scripture date back to 150 BCE to 70 CE. Dead Sea Scrolls and nothing in the Bible has been disproved by historical evidence...and there have been thousands of biblical manuscripts, that still survive today Biblical manuscript. So if I had to choose from recent discoveries(that have been made in the past 200-300 years) or thousands of historical documents(that all agree and have have the same basic story going on throughout a period of thousands of years.) I'd choose the one with more supportive evidence to back it up.

Note: I did take the time to look up the evolution page..."Evolutionary ideas such as common descent and the transmutation of species have existed since at least the 6th century BCE, when they were expounded by the Greek philosopher Anaximander."

and Creationism does explain the facts; God spoke the universe into existence...
