Welcome![edit]

Hello, Prince of Fairy Tale, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Moulvibazar Govt. High School, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Moulvibazar Govt. High School moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Moulvibazar Govt. High School. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it needs more sources to establish notability, it is promotional and reads like an advertisement and you may have a possible Conflict of Interest. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Star Mississippi 02:30, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Vinegarymass911. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Bindu Basini Govt. Boys' High School, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please add references. You are not improving the article by adding a wall of unreferenced texts. Take some time to review the guidelines of Wikipedia. Use In-line citations. I have not removed them but there is no reason not to remove what seems like original research. Please add references to Bindu Basini Govt. Boys' High School Vinegarymass911 (talk) 19:49, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I was adding the texts first. I had plan to add citations thereafter. Prince of Fairy Tale (talk) 21:26, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Steve Jobs[edit]

If you're gonna change his name in the info box please change in the article too. Currently it's only stated in the infobox which is confusing Carlinmack (talk) 00:57, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A lengthy welcome[edit]

Hi Prince of Fairy Tale. Welcome to Wikipedia. I hope you don't mind if I share some of my thoughts on starting out as a new editor on Wikipedia: If I could get editors in your situation to follow just one piece of advice, it would be this: Learn Wikipedia by working only on non-contentious topics until you have a feel for the normal editing process and the policies that usually come up when editing casually. You'll find editing to be fun, easy, and rewarding. The rare disputes are resolved quickly and easily in collaboration.

Working on biographical information about living persons is far more difficult. Wikipedia's Biographies of living persons policy requires strict adherence to multiple content policies, and applies to all information about living persons including talk pages.

If you have a relationship with the topics you want to edit, then you will need to review Wikipedia's Conflict of interest policy, which may require you to disclose your relationship and restrict your editing depending upon how you are affiliated with the subject matter. Regardless, editing in a manner that promotes an entity or viewpoint over others can appear to be detrimental to the purpose of Wikipedia and the neutrality required in articles.

Some topic areas within Wikipedia have special editing restrictions that apply to all editors. It's best to avoid these topics until you are extremely familiar with all relevant policies and guidelines.

If you work from reliable, independent sources, you shouldn't go far wrong. WP:RSP and WP:RSN are helpful in determining if a source is reliable.

If you find yourself in a disagreement with another editor, it's best to discuss the matter on the relevant talk page.

I hope you find some useful information in all this, and welcome again. --Hipal (talk) 19:11, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Xi Knight.I noticed that you recently uploaded a version of the Dhaka College logo. However, this might be a different version of the logo, but there isn't any reference to this particular version in any of the official sources of Dhaka College, especially on their website, to verify your submission. Additionally, the version you submitted is not a genuine SVG; it appears that you simply changed the extension of a PNG file. Nevertheless, please refrain from altering the current version of the logo. It is in accordance with the official source. Unless there are any changes to the logo from the official source, it should remain unchanged. Xi Knight (talk) 06:47, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The same is the case for the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology Logo. Xi Knight (talk) 07:54, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
