Welcome![edit]

Thanks for adding sources to articles. We need more editors like you! Just so you know, if the statement seems "medical", we try to add sources that are fairly recent (ideally in the last five years, but it can be a bit longer – the date is certainly not the only thing to consider!). We do this because sometimes there is more/new information, and we don't want to be relying only on potentially outdated sources. I don't expect that this is ever going to be outdated, but I thought I'd mention it as a consideration.

If you're interested in meeting other editors who work on health-related content, feel free to check out Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Medicine. WhatamIdoing (talk) 15:45, 16 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@WhatamIdoing Thank you for the information. I will keep that in mind to use the sources which are pretty recent. I will look up about WikiProject Medicine. Portraitworld (talk) 18:29, 17 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Overlinking[edit]

Per MOS:OVERLINK please do not add Wikilinks to common words we expect readers to understand: e.g. 'blood' [1] or 'swimming'. [2] Excessive blue links can make articles difficult to read. AndyTheGrump (talk) 03:09, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@AndyTheGrump Thanks for pointing it out and providing policy page as well. That was helpful. Will keep that in mind for future. Thanks! Portraitworld (talk) 03:35, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
