Welcome[edit]

Hi, PistolP23. This is NOT some automated message...it's from a real person. You can talk to me right now. Welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed you've just joined, and wanted to give you a few tips to get you started. If you have any questions, please talk to us. The tips below should help you to get started. Best of luck! –Meiskam (talkcontribblock) 20:31, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

ようこそ
  • You don't need to read anything - anybody can edit; just go to an article and edit it. Be Bold, but please don't put silly stuff in - it will be removed very quickly, and will annoy people.
  • Ask for help. Talk to us live, or edit this page, put {{helpme}} and describe what help you need. Someone will reply very quickly - usually within a few minutes.
  • Edit existing articles, before you make your own. Look at some subjects that you know about, and see if you can make them a bit better. For example, Wikipedia:Cleanup#2009.
  • When you're ready, read about Your first article. It should be about something well-known, and it will need references.

Good luck with editing; please drop me a line some time on my own talk page.

There's lots of information below. Once again, welcome to the fantastic world of Wikipedia!

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Torii Hunter Project, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://playerpage.bizland.com/toriisgoal.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Insult[edit]

I call it an insult to Wikipedia when people simply copy materrial from elsewhere and think they have created an article. If the Torii Hunter Project is notable, write an article about it! A copy&paste of their mission statement is not an article. In the case of Strengthening School Safety through Prevention of Bullying, this is source material and should not be posted here - post it elsewhere and link to it. Incidentally, which of the following links is correct: Heart of a Champion or Heart of a Champion? — RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 16:49, 10 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Did you read my comment about links above? If so, why did you create an external format link with this edit? And what earthly purpose is this edit supposed to serve? — RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 18:34, 11 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I asked three questions above. Are you going to have the courtesy to answer them? — RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 05:34, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Here is another question: when you wrote Heart of a Champion Foundation, did it cross your mind that it might be a good idea to state in what country it operates? — RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 08:17, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Non-reply[edit]

The country of the foundations operation has been added. Thank you for the suggestion.

In regard to the question about which of the links are correct, only the link to Heart of a Champion is relevant to my edits. The other link (not mine) seems to be about a song by the rap artist Nelly.

The external links for this edit and edit are relevant in that Houston Texans edit is a charitable donor to the non-profit Heart of a Champion Foundation.

The link for edit was a mistake. Thank you for catching it.

There is no COI. This is a foundation i heard about and was very impressed with their work with young people who are at a disadvantage due to internal family problems or socioeconomic reasons. --PistolP23 (talk) 14:39, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • You still don't get it! Why do you insist on using external format: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heart_of_a_Champion_Foundation instead of internal format: [[Heart of a Champion Foundation]] for links? I saw your edit summary: the wikipages of … have been linked to Heart of a Champion Foundation. Have a look at special:whatlinkshere/Heart of a Champion Foundation. There are just three links from the (article) namespace, and who created those three links? I did! — RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 14:47, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Roger - I see your point. I've been working quickly (no excuse) and now understand. Can you help me with the edits for the Heart of a Champion Foundation that will make it not in accordance for deletion? --PistolP23 (talk) 15:01, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Also, I've seen other pages that are filled with phone numbers, as well as blatant links to commercial websites. This is another reason I believe my page to not be a COI. --PistolP23 (talk) 15:07, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

R - I'm currently editing the Heart of a Champion Foundation page to comply to the internal link policy. Thank you. --PistolP23 (talk) 15:13, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
