December 2023[edit]

Information icon Hi Peter Christian Riemann! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Axis leaders of World War II several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Axis leaders of World War II, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Please review the Talk page discussion which I have started, and make a case for your version there... Hi Rotary Engine, I do understand and will comply with the Wikipedia regulations. Will change to talk (discussion), as I already did with another false description within the article Axis Powers. There I found the picture of the Samurai (Chapter "Japan", besides the line "War Justification") which is not of Japanese origin, but was done by the Italian painter Gino Boccasile. (Was double checked by File and within his WIKIMEDIA category and his Wikipedia article.) Thanks for your patience.
P.S. Can you give me a hint, how to get an english user account? I still show up in red... Peter Christian Riemann (talk) 12:02, 6 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Accounts are global; but your name shows in red because you don't yet have a User: page on the English Wikipedia. You can create one by editing here: User:Peter Christian Riemann. My own practice is to create one User: page on my home Wiki (English), and then redirects on the other "foreign" Wikis. Then I only need to manage one page.
If you wanted to redirect to Deutsch Wikipedia, you could add the following text to your English User: page:
#REDIRECT [[de:Benutzer:Peter Christian Riemann]]
Hope this helps. Rotary Engine talk 12:12, 6 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Great information! In the meantime I succeeded in doing it on my own. Have a good time, and keep in touch! Peter Christian Riemann (talk) 12:30, 6 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
