A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Ourshelp , requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person, and which is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages: user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for businesses.

If you can indicate why the page is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page in question and leave a note on this page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Calton | Talk 02:14, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If it was blatant advertising I wouldn't have put criticisms on the article.

Deletion of userpage content[edit]

Per Wikipedia:User_page#NOT, I have deleted all the Michael Dimond and MHFM material you have been storing on your userpage. Per guideline, userpages are not "intended to indefinitely archive your preferred version of disputed or previously deleted content". Binksternet (talk) 01:11, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Most Holy Family Monastery. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. Binksternet (talk) 02:05, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I saw your request for mediation before you deleted it, and I responded by creating this Request for Comment:
Talk:Most_Holy_Family_Monastery#RfC:_Include_MHFM_positions_on_various_issues.3F
Hope that helps. Binksternet (talk) 19:18, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Gerry Matatics has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No claims of notability. Has been tagged for references since 2009 with no improvements. Fails WP:ACADEMIC as having never finished his dissertation. Only citation in article is not about him. I have been unable to locate significant reliable source coverage to establish notability for WP:GNG.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
