Hi, I am in a bit of a dispute at the moment over the Armenia-Azerbaijan relations in the Eurovision Song Contest article. I believe personally that usaer Parishans removal of a huge section of the article are politicly motivated. The user has made a number of pro-Azerbaijan edits on other articles. I personally dont think its right to remove a huge part of an article without discussion. And I have tried to have that with the user without any results. Instead I get insulted and patronised by Parishan on the articles talk page. Maybe you could intervene and make a third party decision...--BabbaQ (talk) 18:29, 24 February 2011 (UTC)

I also pointed out for the user that he/she has been in a number of disputes over Azerbijan-Armenia issues articles. Also the user is referring to a Wikipedia guideline which states Wikipedia is not a collection of unverifiable speculation when in fact the section removed was very well sourced. I just hate it when a serious non-bias editor like myself get to have to deal with these kind of users which obviously have an personal/political agenda and refuses to have a third party opinion before removals. The removal itself is totally out of line and as I said above the user is referring to a guideline which contradicts the removal. Im done, hope you atleast see some sense in my comment:).--BabbaQ (talk) 18:31, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
Hello there, thanks for calling my attention to this dispute. As much as I would like to provide a third party opinion on this, I must admit that the article's subject matter is not a subject I am familiar with. Therefore I would not feel comfortable getting into a content dispute over something about which I know very little. Therefore, this is the action have duly taken. I have notified the people who know about the subject over at the article's WikiProject. I am hoping that someone in the know will come and assist in the dispute. Please feel free to put your thoughts into the discussion I have started. I apologise for not being able to do more. Regards, Orphan Wiki 12:17, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
OK I understand, and I have now left a comment on the discussion. If you have any more input please leave it there. It feels very wrong that an article gets basically censored by a Pr-Azerbaijan user. Thanks again.--BabbaQ (talk) 17:05, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
If you feel like it you can check out my stub for Emilia Carr.--BabbaQ (talk) 15:39, 26 February 2011 (UTC)
The article Emilia Carr has now been put up for Afd. I believe it is yet another similar situation as with the Murder of Joanna Yeates etc etc..--BabbaQ (talk) 17:37, 26 February 2011 (UTC)
Yes, it's not the murder itself that warrants a keep, but rather the fact that this is a woman being given the death penalty, which is a less common occurance. Orphan Wiki 13:08, 27 February 2011 (UTC)
Agreed!. The Afd of Colin Hatch might interest you.--BabbaQ (talk) 13:45, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
User Silktork has made his/hers opinion clear on the Emilia Carr Afd. As I was the creator of the article some stance from the opposit viewpoint might be needed from someone like you perhaps if you feel like responding to the users long comment. cheers.--BabbaQ (talk) 17:36, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
KimChee has written a great response to SilkTork's comment, that I can't really expand on without repeating what KimChee has said. I'll keep watching the AfD, to see if SilkTork or anyone else responds, however. Orphan Wiki 11:21, 4 March 2011 (UTC)
OK, good. I have now responded to KimChee rather than Silktork I dont feel that the creator of the article should argue for Keep with the Delete sayer directly anymore. It never benefits the articles Afd. Cheers,--BabbaQ (talk) 12:51, 4 March 2011 (UTC)
I have also reported my dispute over the Armenia Azerbaijan in Eurovision business... Just to let you know. Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.--BabbaQ (talk) 13:28, 4 March 2011 (UTC)

Great idea! I should have directed you there in the first place, as well as the WikiProject. Orphan Wiki 11:39, 5 March 2011 (UTC)

Unfortunatly only a less than so friendly user responded. And has in fact not even responded back to my latest comments or actually made any effort to resolve the dispute. Which feels strange considering that in fact Parishan is in wrong here not me IMHO. Cheers.--BabbaQ (talk) 15:28, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
Cannot believe this has still been unresolved, even at AN/I. This highlights how shambolic the Wikipedia system is. I've talked the admin who dealt with you, asking him/her to properly clear up the case with you, and then it can be finally put away. And still no one has replied at the WikiProject :( Orphan Wiki 11:44, 6 March 2011 (UTC)

MORE ABUSE CLARIFICATION(HAPPY TO SHOUT)

Hi Orphan Wiki, I agree to the clarification that I am unexperienced. Hope this solves the problem and I am again using STiKi as per Ocassi told. --Ankit Maity 06:47, 26 February 2011 (UTC)

Erm, I'm not sure what you're talking about. Are you mad at me? What do you mean "happy to shout?" Did you actually read my message on the STiki talkpage? My intention was not to infuriate you, but to be of assistance. Orphan Wiki 13:32, 26 February 2011 (UTC)
You did bot infuriate me, you made me happy.Got it???Thanks.--Ankit Maity 13:37, 26 February 2011 (UTC)

Wow! Thankyou very much indeed, greatly appreciated! And don't forget, I'm always here if you need help or anything. Regards, Orphan Wiki 13:56, 26 February 2011 (UTC)

Some opinions for Delete has been raised. Perhaps if you feel like it you could specify why you voted Keep on the articles Afd. Or give an argument for why it should be kept in discussion.--BabbaQ (talk) 17:36, 4 March 2011 (UTC)

I'll check it out when I've got a bit of time on my hands. Hopefully tomorrow. :) Orphan Wiki 02:12, 6 March 2011 (UTC)
Right, I've had a read through what has been said. Given the perfectly valid arguments put forward by those who wish to see the article deleted, this is what a suggest. As you have had maximum participation in the AfD, I would ask that you now refrain from commenting unless absolutely necessary, so that you do not harm the credibility of your opinion on the case, or the credibility of your work and your article. That is the stance I will also take. From the point of view of the opposition, nothing is worse than the Keepers trying to enforce their point over and over again. There will always be disagreement in situations like this. I've stated my view and you've stated yours, and others have agreed with us. I do not want to harm our case by also commenting numerous times. It would also look as if we were ganging up on them all, and I know it sounds really good fun and very adventurous, it would not go down well within this community. What we must do is wait now for an outcome. The vast majority of cases we've looked at together have worked in our favour, so we'll wait and see. If the article gets deleted, let's simply move on and do work elsewhere, if you feel you can. Very best wishes, and heartfelt regards, Orphan Wiki 12:00, 6 March 2011 (UTC)
Agree. You are so wise.--BabbaQ (talk) 12:27, 6 March 2011 (UTC)
;)--BabbaQ (talk) 12:27, 6 March 2011 (UTC)

Hi

The Afd on Emilia Carr is in its final stages and its not clear cut keep or delete. Exciting.--BabbaQ (talk) 09:40, 10 March 2011 (UTC)

I've been keeping an eye on it. It's been an intense debate! Orphan Wiki 22:00, 10 March 2011 (UTC)
I have to tell you that the Afd has been closed as No Consensus. I feel it is a "victory" for the "Keepers".. It feels particularly good this time as the Afd discussion was at best really nasty. Cheers.--BabbaQ (talk) 12:14, 12 March 2011 (UTC)
Good. At least the bickering is now over. :) Orphan Wiki 12:30, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

(I like barnstars very much).Ah!, I make use of my page 'Usuario Discusión:Luis722' in Wikipedia in spanish language. --Luis722 (talk) 23:49, 24 March 2011 (UTC)

No problem, my friend! :) Orphan Wiki 08:29, 25 March 2011 (UTC)

This article might interest you my friend.--BabbaQ (talk) 16:59, 25 March 2011 (UTC)

Ah! I wondered when this would be making an appearance. An interesting case this one, what with the suspect leading police to another possible burial site. There could be a lot under wraps yet... Orphan Wiki 19:49, 25 March 2011 (UTC)
As suspected someone has placed it up for Afd. Please participate.--BabbaQ (talk) 22:30, 25 March 2011 (UTC)
Hahaha I KNEW it!!!! Hahahahahahahahahahaha Orphan Wiki 23:03, 25 March 2011 (UTC)
BTW, try to keep your involvement in the AfD to a minimum. Over-zealous responses to every comment may damage the article's chances. Haha here we go mate! Orphan Wiki 23:16, 25 March 2011 (UTC)
Yeah now via a few entries I have made my point pretty darn clear!;). And I will leave it at that. No need to get my own user name down in dirt with the deletionists;). Cheers.--BabbaQ (talk) 00:38, 26 March 2011 (UTC)
If you feel like it take a look at the Catrine da Costa article. About one of Swedens most notable and infamous murder cases. Its interesting reading;).--BabbaQ (talk) 01:39, 26 March 2011 (UTC)
(Re:Sian Afd) Haha quality result :) Will have a read of the article above. Orphan Wiki 14:58, 26 March 2011 (UTC)
