RARE Project Deletion[edit]

We spent a lot of time gathering and organizing the information on the "RARE PRoject" page that was summarily deleted last Thursday. Is there any way to to get that content back? We know that information about RARE disease was unique in its composition and valuable to the rare disease community. We did not keep a copy of the content. Thanks!

July 2012 Study of authors of health-related Wikipedia pages[edit]

My name is Nuša Farič and I am a Health Psychology MSc student at the University College London (UCL). I am currently running a quantitative study entitled Who edits health-related Wikipedia pages and why? I am interested in the editorial experience of people who edit health-related Wikipedia pages. I am interested to learn more about the authors of health-related pages on Wikipedia and what motivations they have for doing so. I am currently contacting the authors of randomly selected articles and I noticed that someone at this address recently edited an article on Leukodystrophy. RE: Apple lead.[edit]

I very much apprecieate your points, and believe that such information does need to be included in a prominent position, but I do have some reservations as to the manner of your previous edit. The lead of the article is already bloated, and needs some major work done to it. I did some cleanup a few days ago, but nothing that would constitute the removal of the cleanup tag. According to Wilkipedia guidelines, it's already too long in its current form. For an article of its size, the lead should be one to two paragraphs long. If you could clean up the head and include that information in your revision, I think that that would be great. I might suggest moving some of the financial landmarks out of the head, as they're not all necessary. That'll give you some room to play around with.
