Welcome to Wikipedia, Ordtoy! I am Stormtracker94 and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

Greetings[edit]

Hey their again, just wanted to inform you that I have replied to your statement in the cooperation board. Chaldean (talk) 13:00, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Lagari Hasan Çelebi[edit]

Having not read the referenced material personally, it would be contrary to Wiki guidelines for me to make the needed changes to Lagari Hasan Çelebi without having read the cited material; could you provide a quote of the text to replace the paraphrased account and cite the source you indicated on the Talk Page? I will then be happy to contribute to the article as I may. Thanks!Mavigogun (talk) 10:12, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Y.A.[edit]

Finally Am6212 and his sockpuppets, Trippss (did he thought about my name when he made this up?) and Suryoyo othuroyo, have been blocked. I changed back the article to what the Hurriyet article says, so you might wanna check to see if it is ok. Thanks. The TriZ (talk) 20:51, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring on Yusuf Akbulut[edit]

The page is currently protected from editing to encourage discussion on the talk page. Please don't endlessly war on an article. If an editor is vandalizing or otherwise editing against consensus, revert and warn. If the issue gets out of hand or the inappropriate edits continue, request administrative attention. Warnings are being issued to everyone involved, and it's expected that once protection lifts, there will be no more warring. If there is, blocks will be issued. Same goes for edits against consensus. If there are issues with the article after protection lifts, let me or another administrator know. لennavecia 19:11, 20 November 2008 (UTC)Edit warring on Yusuf Akbulut[reply]

Could you don't change the name of the vilayets. You didn't create that page. I did. If you want you can make with the name, you think is "right". Also I redirect Vilayet of Mamuretü'l-Aziz to Vilayet of Kharpert--Hovik95 (talk) 19:51, 14 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sivas vs Sebastia[edit]

In your recent edits[1][2][3] you eliminated the name "Sebastia" altogether. You did this without any explanation, in spite of the fact that I asked for clarification at Talk:Vilayet of Sivas. According to WIkipedia policy, any significant change in an article should be discussed, see for example Wikipedia:Editing policy#Be helpful: explain. I would also recommend you to read Wikipedia:Naming conventions (geographic names) and to edit accordingly. ALso, thake note of the neutral point of view polcy of Wikipedia. Andreas  (T) 13:40, 2 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please refer to the discussions on the Vilayet of Mamûretü'l-Azîz page as well as my request for mediation on this issue which was accepted (for both Vilayet of Mamûretü'l-Azîz and Vilayet of Sivas). One edit on Vilayet of Sivas was missing a comment (mea culpa) but it was the same edit I had made before and was based on the aforementioned discussions and mediation. Sorry for this, but I missed an edit summary on your edits that could have pointed me to your call for comment.  Andreas  (T) 00:06, 3 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't revert without taking a look at the talk page. The reason you gave didn't make sense.--Rafy talk 09:07, 10 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

They make sense because you are removing a reference to Princeton academic John Joseph to support your view on Syriac Christianity. I am very aware of the debates. Ordtoy (talk) 13:40, 10 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Ordtoy. You have new messages at Talk:Mamûretü'l-Azîz Vilayet.

You changed titles of article without procedure of Wikipedia. You'd better read Wikipedia:Requested moves, Wikipedia:Article titles, Wikipedia:I just don't like it etc. Takabeg (talk) 12:59, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
