May 2011[edit]

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give Two-dimensional display size a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. - Happysailor (Talk) 17:42, 22 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your version is old now./Oilosiso (talk) 22:11, 22 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not replace pages with blank content, as you did with this edit to Talk:Two-dimensional display size, as this is confusing to readers. The page's content has been restored for now. If there is a problem with the page, it should be edited or reverted to a previous version if possible; if you think the page should be removed entirely, see further information. Thank you. Well. Could you please just move the page to "Display size" then. I dont see that move feature. /Oilosiso (talk) 21:56, 22 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning; the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did at Two-dimensional display size, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. - Happysailor (Talk) 22:10, 22 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Just move the page the way you want then. whats the problem? /Oilosiso (talk) 22:12, 22 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because your account is being used only for vandalism. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. -- Cirt (talk) 04:38, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
