Thank you for adding CAF match referees[edit]

Please also add them in the future if you have the information. Chanheigeorge (talk) 11:58, 19 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You are very welcome

Thanks from me too. You may want to add the source in the references. Sputink (talk) 14:47, 21 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I am sorry to undo your edit but it would really help if you source the referees when adding them. You can just add the source in the edit summary. As long as I know there is proof that this person refereed this game then I am fine. Thank you very much. --Arsenalkid700 (talk) 14:38, 24 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The games are on TV ...

Not good enough. Sorry mate, there is probably a report somewhere but unless you have a screenshot or whatever I cant accept that. I mean I have already heard that it was Pratap Singh yesterday. We need concrete proof. --Arsenalkid700 (talk) 14:54, 24 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Good job. Referee accepted :) --Arsenalkid700 (talk) 15:07, 24 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Flags for referees[edit]

Hi! Thanks for your work on adding referees in various articles! However, it is a common practice to use a link to referee's national football federation instead of a flag. So in the future, please use the following pattern: referee = Referee Name ({{subst:nfa|XXX}}) where XXX is his country (could be a 3-letter code or full country name). The subst template will automatically replace the wikicode with a link to his federation (for example subst:nfa|RUS will turn into Russia after you save the page. --BlameRuiner (talk) 08:58, 11 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

OK well noted..Thank you --Normandy64 (talk) 09:41, 11 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:2018 CJSOI.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:2018 CJSOI.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

ATTENTION: This is an automated, bot-generated message. This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 03:00, 20 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:2018 CJSOI.png[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:2018 CJSOI.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:07, 22 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

2019 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations qualification[edit]

Hey! Thanks for contributing on the 2019 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations qualification page. Can you tell me about the page from where you are getting the info about the referees for the UNIFFAC qualifiers..??--Anbans 585 (talk) 14:47, 4 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I am getting them directly from the referees located onsite for the competitions, as I know most of them. [1] --Normandy64 (talk) 16:03, 4 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Can you ask them for the match reports, because so far none of the other websites or media is showing the name of the goal scorers or other key events, apart from the scoreline. CAF itself hasn't uploaded any match reports so far. Getting just a pic of the final match report and the starting lineup would also be of great help.--Anbans 585 (talk) 16:27, 4 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, Football at the 2019 Indian Ocean Island Games – Men, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption.
