Avril Lavigne lyrics[edit]

Your article Who Knows Lavigne has been deleted.(stupid!) We can't accept whole sets of lyrics on Wikipedia, as they are copyrighted - see Wikipedia:Copyrights for more information. An article about an Avril Lavigne single would be alright, but it can only contain a small sample of the lyrics at most. Thanks — sjorford++ 15:48, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Warning[edit]

Thank you for experimenting with the page Steve Irwin on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. -- tariqabjotu 05:46, 4 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Talk page move[edit]

I've moved your user talk page back to User talk:Nithya1974, as it is confusing for your contributions to be under one name and your talk page to be under another. If you want to change your name, you can ask at Wikipedia:Changing_username. — sjorford++ 08:13, 4 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please be aware of Wikipedia's policy that biographical information about living persons must not include unsupported or inaccurate statements. Whenever you add possibly controversial statements about a living person to an article or any other Wikipedia page, as you did to Sonia Gandhi, you must include proper sources. If you don't know how to cite a source, you may want to read Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners for guidelines. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 12:15, 9 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The file File:Dappan koothu.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Orphaned file with no obvious value in transferring to Commons

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Discretionary sanctions notice[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
