ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:57, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Israel Palestine articles[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in the Arab–Israeli conflict. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

In particular, please note that 30 days tenure and 500 edits are required before you can edit article content and formal community processes such as RfCs and noticeboard discussions related to the Arab-Israeli conflict. This does not apply to informal discussion on article talk pages. Selfstudier (talk) 18:41, 28 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

After I posted this you edited the Sebastia article again. Please restrict your edits to articles for which you are qualified. Any further edits to AI articles will be reverted. Thank you. Selfstudier (talk) 19:02, 28 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

And again. You have been reverted. Any further disruption and you are risking a block.Selfstudier (talk) 19:09, 28 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Selfstudier, alright, my apologies. I did not realize you have be an extended confirmed user to edit the Sebastia article. NaturalSoundsYEAH! (talk) 19:23, 28 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
K, you are not so far off meeting the requirement so see you soon. Selfstudier (talk) 19:32, 28 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

February 2022[edit]

Hello, I'm Nightenbelle. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Fairmont Senior High School, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Nightenbelle (talk) 18:36, 10 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Fairmont Senior High School. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Nightenbelle (talk) 18:38, 10 February 2022 (UTC) Look- I don't have a problem with what you are wanting to add- just source it dude. Add a source before you add controversial (or political) information. Thats all I'm asking! Nightenbelle (talk) 18:40, 10 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Nightenbelle, You rollbacked multiple edits I made to the page, which are all sourced. The claim that "the high school was an all-white school until the 1950s" is sourced in the "History" section of the page. I can easily source that, but could you please undelete all my edits, which are sourced? NaturalSoundsYEAH! (talk) 18:48, 10 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
