May 2012[edit]

Please don't delete sourced content without explanation, nor add unsourced content to Wikipedia articles. WP:COI may be relevant here; you can edit articles about yourself or subjects with which you're associated, but with great care to insure neutrality. Thank you, 99.136.254.195 (talk) 11:38, 8 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've reverted your edits again, as explained. I think conflict of interest is a concern. My suggestion is that you use the article talk page to discuss your concerns--it doesn't appear that the information you're deleting is false or libelous, nor that which you're adding is sourced or of particular import. I may seek further help re: this at the BLP noticeboard [1]. 99.136.254.195 (talk) 12:19, 8 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Instead I've raised my concern here, where you are also welcome to comment: [2]. Thanks, 99.136.254.195 (talk) 12:37, 8 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

New message - response to your response... Thank you so much for your response. I really appreciate it. I am not sure if this is where I should be writing a response to your response. I am new to Wikipedia. I appreciate your agreeing with me on the Days content that gives the article a negative spin and on the McDonald's topic. Thank you so much.

I totally understand about the personal information regarding my high school accomplishments or travel as seeming more appropriate for a blog. I understand your point. I do think that my work in Calcutta with Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity is relevant, however. For instance, I researched the actor Paul Walker's site. He has his work with several medical charities listed in his article. It seems to me, that this would be similar in my case.

Please let me know what you think. I am very grateful for your help and time. Thank you. Natalia Livingston 99.136.254.195 (talk) 16:07, 8 May 2012 (UTC) Also, just saw your message about the deleted film credits. I completely understand. My reasoning for this was that I was never in "Fight or Flight". The part went to another actress and I'm not even sure that the movie as ever made. The date on Rough Hustle is incorrect. It is set to release this year and not 2009. I deleted Big Fat Liar because I only worked on that as an extra and appeared in it for about one second. I do not consider it relevant or part of my professional credits. The same is true for Hired Help. Though I would understand if you decided to keep that credit, as I appeared for a few seconds longer there. I know that many actors did student films or extra work along the way, but I do not think that these credits are relevant for a wikipedia page. The list would be endless if actors posted everything they have ever done along the way. I was hoping to focus more on the more formidable and significant roles.[reply]

I hope this makes sense. Thank you so much again for your help on this matter. Natalia Livingston

I think your points about the inaccuracies and very minor roles make sense, and can be addressed. It appears that the information on Mr. Walker's activities is copiously sourced, which is the difference. Again, the requirement for reliable sources was explained in the posts you deleted. You can delete anything you wish from your own talk page, but doing so in this conversation removes context for what we're discussing. 99.136.254.195 (talk) 15:57, 8 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I just found a source which may be helpful, from NBC [3]. If I have a few minutes I'll add something. Best, 99.136.254.195 (talk) 16:07, 8 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much for looking up info like that. I appreciate your time and help. I read the article. If it is the one you intended for me to read, the beginning portion of the article does not pertain to me, as another actress played the role during that time. The last paragraph does pertain to me and my storyline, but the information does not seem substantial enough to include. It is just storyline data about what happened on the show. If I listed every storyline point, I would take up chapters on Wikipedia. : ) Thank you so much, though and please let me know if I missed something. Perhaps, it was something associated with my work in India? I'm pretty sure I did an interview about that somewhere along the way...
I noticed that the information on the movies we discussed has not yet been updated. We said "Big Fat Liar" should be removed as it is an insignificant 1 second appearance as an extra (not a formidable credit to list here), "Hired Help" was a very short appearance and it is also insignificant since it was done as a small student film (also not a formidable credit to list here), I never did "Fight or Flight" so that should be removed, and Rough Hustle is set for release in 2012 not 2009.
Also, I noticed that the part about being let go from Days has still not been removed. I believe you had agreed with me that it created a negative spin and was not necessary. As I mentioned, many actors experience set backs in their career, but I strongly feel that those setbacks do not need to be listed. I would be so grateful to focus on my accomplishments instead and give the article a more positive approach.
Another thing I forgot is the Delta Delta Delta issue. I had hoped to delete this as well. I was not an active member of the sorority and would much rather not be tied to it in any way. I also don't see that as a significant part of my history. I think it detracts from what is most important and is more of something someone would list on a blog of some sort. For instance, I was also a member of Theater Emory during college, but I do not list that. I hope you will see my point here. It would mean so much to have that deleted as the image of Delta Delta Delta is not exactly one I want to be associated with so publicly -- especially since I don't associate with it personally in any way and was not an active member.
Also, my work with the Missionaries of Charity is very dear to me and I would love to list it. Is the only way that it could be listed is if someone wrote about it and it was published? As I noted above, perhaps I spoke of it somewhere in an interview. I will research that and see if I can find anything documented on it.

Thank you so very much again for your help. I really appreciate it. Natalia Livingston

Saw that you included my work in India! Thank you so much! I was looking at the wrong page! Any possible way you could please include Russia and Africa in the travels, as well? They are also listed in the article you sited.

Sorry, another thing...I did not do student films while I was in college, so I think that should also be removed. It is in the paragraph concerning the sorority. Any small student films I did were done later, after college and do not think are important or significant enough to list.
