Hi. Would you mind explaining your rationale behind your PROD of Space Adventures? You didn't list a concern when adding the template, and I don't see anything in a cursory skim of the article that would justify deletion. Thanks, Scog (talk) 20:05, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

See WP:HOAX and Talk:Space Adventures#Don't lie on Wikipedia. I removed some of the hoax info, but removing all of it would require a rewrite of the page. Nat682 (talk) 21:06, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

I've just finished adding a load of sources to the article. As far as I can see, anything contentious (e.g. the planned spaceports) is now supported by cites to reliable sources. I've therefore removed your PROD. If, after reviewing the revised article, you still feel it should be deleted, then you'll have to take it to AFD. Scog (talk) 11:07, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
Thank you. Nat682 (talk) 13:48, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

Transfered from my IP talk page

Welcome

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, especially what you did for Fields of science. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Here are some other hints and tips:

  • I would recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
  • When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.

If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or type {{helpme}} on this talk page and a user will help you as soon as possible. I will answer your questions as far as I can. Again, welcome, and I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. Lәo(βǃʘʘɱ) 17:21, 20 September 2008 (UTC)

I already have a user account. I do not know why my *@&/* computer keeps logging me out, even though I check the "Remember Me" box. 24.19.132.231 (talk) 02:15, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

Your rollback request

Hi! I regret that I must inform you that your request for the rollback permission has been denied. You can discover why by checking the archives at Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/Denied/October 2008#Nat682. SoxBot X (talk) 15:00, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

In addition, you broke the clerk bot because you told people not to subst the template. Xclamation point 22:28, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
What are you talking about? I did not tell people to not subst the template, and I do not see how I could have broken a bot. An explaination please? Thanks, Nat682 (talk) 20:47, 25 October 2008 (UTC).
If you review this edit of yours, you'll see you made a modification to the hidden instructions to properly subst the template. If you didn't realize you did it, it must have been an honest mistake, I wouldn't worry about it too much. –xeno (talk) 21:57, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

I have removed the {{prod}} tag from STS-41-F, which you proposed for deletion. I'm leaving this message here to notify you about it. If you still think the article should be deleted, please don't add the {{prod}} template back to the article. Instead, feel free to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks! Resistojet rocket

re.: Resistojet rocket

I removed the NPOV tag you placed 14 July 2008 since there were no arguments either pro or con in the talk page (no talk page exists), as well as no POV that I could perceive (the article was poorly written, but that is not POV) - Leonard G. (talk) 02:38, 3 November 2009 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Challenger goes kaboom, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Jatkins (talk - contribs) 23:48, 30 January 2010 (UTC)

The article Challenger goes kaboom has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unnecessary and inappropriate redirect which serves no purpose.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. List of Largest Churches

I think this is a debatable point. According to the article itself: "The term "church" is open to interpretation and debate. However, for the purposes of this article, it will be used to mean any building which was built for the primary purpose of Christian worship, for any recognised denomination of Christianity." and then from the article on Church Buildings: "A church building is a building or structure whose primary purpose is to facilitate the meeting of a church." In this news article: http://www.deseretnews.com/article/700021381/LDS-Conference-Center-Mormon-churchs-enormous-house-of-worship-and-art-is-10-years-old.html you have the media referring to it as "Mormon church's enormous 'house of worship'." I think based on the parameters of the article it indeed qualifies. It is certainly NOT a "convention" center (I know of no "convention" centers that have one of the largest pipe organs in the world and house one of the largest and well-known religious choirs). It's primary purpose is religious church meetings and is seen as an upgrade and replacement to the Tabernacle and in the Mormon church Tabernacles are just bigger Chapels for larger church services.--Pantherjad (talk) 05:34, 4 October 2010 (UTC)

Sergei Krikalyov

Hi, I've asked a question (here) about the choice of article name of Sergei Krikalyov. If you could respond on that talk page, that would be great. thanks! Mlm42 (talk) 17:37, 7 November 2010 (UTC)

Spaceflight portals

Hello! As an member editor of one or more of the Spaceflight, Human spaceflight, Unmanned spaceflight, Timeline of spaceflight or Space colonisation WikiProjects, I'd like to draw to your attention a proposal I have made with regards to the future of the spaceflight-related portals, which can be found at Portal talk:Spaceflight#Portal merge. I'd very much appreciate any suggestions or feedback you'd be able to offer! Many thanks,

WikiProject Human spaceflight activity

Hello there! As part of an effort to determine how many active editors are present in the spaceflight-related WikiProjects, I have made some changes to the list of members of WikiProject Human spaceflight. If you still consider yourself to be an active editor in this project, I would be grateful if you would please edit the list so that your name is not struck out - thus a clearer idea of the critical mass of editors can be determined. Many thanks in advance!

WikiProject Spaceflight reboot

Hello there! As you may or may not be aware, a recent discussion on the future of the Space-related WikiProjects has concluded, leading to the abolition of WP:SPACE and leading to a major reorganisation of WP:SPACEFLIGHT. It would be much appreciated if you would like to participate in the various ongoing discussions at the reorganisation page and the WikiProject Spaceflight talk page. If you are a member of one of WP:SPACEFLIGHT's child projects but not WP:SPACEFLIGHT itself, it would also be very useful if you could please add your name to the member list here. Many thanks!

Rollback and reviewer granted

I have granted rollback rights to your account; the reason for this is that after a review of some of your contributions, I believe you can be trusted to use rollback correctly, and for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck and thanks. Dabomb87 (talk) 21:50, 1 January 2011 (UTC)

I've also given you the reviewer right. Please see WP:REVIEWER and Help:Pending changes for more information. Cheers, Dabomb87 (talk) 21:50, 1 January 2011 (UTC)

Expert tag on Panic of 1837

A month or so ago, you placed a tag on Panic of 1837 calling for expert attention. Did you have any specific concerns about the article? Kansan (talk) 01:30, 8 April 2011 (UTC)

The article does not sufficiently describe how the Panic of 1837 happened; it only gave a vague description that most people probably will not understand. Also, it contains the verbatim text of a long narrative, which does not belong in an encyclopedia. The information in the narrative needs to be re-written in modern English and integrated into the rest of the article. Article definitely needs a lot of work. --Nat682 (talk) 05:48, 12 April 2011 (UTC)

Thanks!

Thanks for the encouragement (star). I have drafted a few things (listed on my user page) since those articles that I hope were a little more mature as I learned from your edits. I would welcome any further guidance and/or examples of better ways to do things should you happen to find time to browse any of my other contributions.--Rwberndt (talk) 21:09, 11 April 2011 (UTC)

Water Pollution POV

You flagged Water pollution as lacking neutrality. I checked on the talk page for the discussion to justify the tag but found none. Can you please either provide a logical rationale for the tag or alternatively remove it again. Thanks  Velella  Velella Talk   19:07, 4 May 2011 (UTC)

Re June 2011 (CBNG)

Ouch! You've used a template to send a message to an experienced editor. Please review Wikipedia:Don't template the regulars or maybe listen to a little advice. Doesn't this feel cold, impersonal, and canned? It's meant in good humor. Best wishes. --The Σ talkcontribs 06:38, 13 June 2011 (UTC)

And please change your signature. It takes four whole lines in the editing box. --The Σ talkcontribs 06:38, 13 June 2011 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Declaration of Independence. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.

In particular, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.

Incorrect labeling of edits as vandalism

Thank you for trying to keep Wikipedia free of vandalism. However, one or more edits you labeled as vandalism , such as the edit at User talk:Nat682, are not considered vandalism under Wikipedia guidelines. Wikipedia has a stricter definition of the word "vandalism" than common usage, and mislabeling edits as vandalism can discourage newer editors. Please read Wikipedia:NOTVAND for more information on what is and is not considered vandalism. Thank you. - SudoGhost 00:12, 15 June 2011 (UTC)
