Off-wiki disputes and agreements[edit]

From off-Wiki e-mail:

Via email and a heated phone call, I have come to an agreement with her to remove information that she posted on a discussion page about a producer that we have both worked with in the past, and I have removed discussions from my talk page referring to the edit war of several months ago.

Any agreement you've made with this person is between yourself and her: you are not empowered to speak on behalf of me or of Wikipedia. Your discussion of your prior involvement leads me to believe that you had, in effect, used Wikipedia as a battleground for a battle begun elsewhere.

I'm going to reverse your edits: a record of her -- and your -- activities is necessary, especially in regards to use of abusive sockpuppets and other flagrant violations of Wikipedia norms, guidelines, rules, and policies, if you two ever decide to resume your tiff using Wikipedia again. Do what you will with your own Talk Page -- that's your business -- but leave the rest alone. --Calton | Talk 13:23, 5 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
