Who do I ask about book formatting questions?

I've begun updating some authors' wikipages, and I notice that different editors sometimes use very different formats for listing book titles. For example, I might see these equivalent entries:

"Short Story Name", (Baen 2010), (ISBN#), with Joe Schmoe and Jane Doe, in Alternate Worlds 2 "Short Story Name" with Joe Schmoe and Jane Doe, published in Alternate Worlds Two ISBN#, Baen Books 2010

I know Wikipedia supports many different styles of formatting, but my question is, surely one type of formatting is preferred? Who would I ask about this? Is there a group of people who are "in charge" of editing science fiction author pages, and how do I get their attention?

Sorry for the stupid question -- I'm fairly new at this. I just want to make sure I'm doing my edits in the best way, to avoid extreme embarrassment in the future when I finally figure it out ... also the thought of going back and "fixing" all my mistakes makes me cringe. See Template:Cite book; where that template fails, however, is for a single author of multiple books in a short article about the individual. Repeating their name 10 times in 10 lines is unnecessary, and makes it look like padding to prevent being challenged, which backfires. In such cases, a section titled 'Works' without the author's name seems sufficient, and generally survives challenges regardless. Dru of Id (talk) 03:45, 30 May 2012 (UTC)
