Couple notes[edit]

Just wanted to make note of a couple things. First, there's some duplication here. For example, "Adolphe Adam" and the files by that composer are listed twice. Likewise, the file "File:Irving Berlin - Arthur Fields - Oh! How I Hate To Get Up In The Morning (unrestored).ogg" is also listed twice. Another thing I noticed is that, in addition to "flac", "midi", "mid" and "ogg" files there are also some files at Commons (not included here in these search results) with extension "oga". None of this is criticism, just something to note for next time.Anythingyouwant (talk) 13:37, 5 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Anythingyouwant: I guess those duplicates exist in multiple categories. It's easy enough to check if we already have the file and not re-list it if we do. It's even easier to add new extensions, just wasn't aware oga was one of them. I can always give her another run with these changes, if you'd like! Same is true for if or when you decide to do a songwriters list. MusikAnimal talk 14:32, 5 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, but I think we're good for now. I have lots to keep myself busy. Hopefully this will actually lead to some good edits by me (and by anyone else who wants to join the work) in mainspace, instead of just a lot of bookkeeping in WP space! Cheers.Anythingyouwant (talk) 14:51, 5 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Another thing that I may as well make a note of here is that, if the list of composers by name uses a piped link (e.g. "Alexei Lvov|Alexei Fyodorovich Lvov"), then it would be good to search Wikimedia Commons for both (i.e. Alexei Lvov plus Alexei Fyodorovich Lvov). But, again, no need to worry about it now, it's just something for later down the road.Anythingyouwant (talk) 17:51, 6 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like next year we ought to get "oga" files too.Anythingyouwant (talk) 16:59, 20 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
