Overall, this looks like a really interesting basin to talk about! I think some figures would really add to making your explanation a little easier. For example, a location map with the location of any of the major fields would be more clear than typing out the specifics of what percentage is in Nigeria etc. I think this is also true for the geology (it is hard to visualize without an image specific to the basin. I think the best addition to your page is the table showing the different formations. This was a great idea and makes it a really easy place to reference the formation you are talking about. However, I agree with Peter that you could add more detail overall. For example, how were these formations you mentioned deposited? In addition to the table you created, a stratigraphic column would really help illustrate these formations. I think your page would benefit from subdividing the "Geology" section even further-- maybe divide between structure and stratigraphy (with depositional processes included in this section. Then maybe make a "Petroleum System" division. There, you could talk about the petroleum system elements (seal, trap, reservoir, source rock). Understanding the petroleum system within the basin is key to this project-- it's not just about the geology but really why the geology creates an interesting petroleum system. The addition of production data would be great as it is also important to understand why this basin is relevant. This is a good start but you need to provide a lot more detail. Maybe say something about the tectonic setting of the basin itself and then describe very clearly what the major components of the hydrocarbon system are. You need to maybe have some sections with subheadings like reservoir, seal or source rock. Tell us something about the trapping mechanisms and if there is any information about the migration process. Please be careful to capitalize proper names, both formation names and geological time periods. In general the page just needs a lot more information to tell us some of the details of the hydrocarbon system. Avoid being too generic.
